The Attendants were top notch-nice and gave me an unsolicited yet very much appreciated run down of their offerings and how they were different. Casey's' is the only place in town you can get hot food after 9 pm (apart from McDonald's some nights). Casey's is open 24 hours a day; and makes made to order subs, chicken sandwiches, burgers fries, hot & fresh pizzas and even some doughnuts. This is a big deal for Springfield - not even Hy-Vee sales hot food late. Looks like they also have a summer 2016 promotion going on where you save on pizzas and fountain drinks. I was thrilled when I saw they had Cherry Pepsi at the fountain machine. I never see that - so I went ahead and grabbed a cup. Gas prices are the same at every petroleum station in The City so expect no savings. Casey's is also right by Jefferson County Health Center (the local hospital /Dr's complex).
