Saw Johnny. His work is incredible,but not a fan of his flaky way of doing business ;showed up half an hour late to my appointment and when I mentioned that,he shrugged and had no apology. He likes to bring up his political views which is a hot button and really has no place when you're dealing with customers (PS I really don't care),and also didn't wear a mask while tattooing me and talked about how he "doesn't care" and won't wear one in his shop. Probably won't be back for any more pieces. Not worth the delusional,ignorant republican ramblings,Covid infested germs permeating the air,or sitting around for 30+ plus when I have an appointment. I'm looking for talent AND exceptional customer service. Oh yes - he also talked mad crap about former artists that worked for him(including his current apprentice),other artists in the area (including a few I've been to that honestly are phenomenal artists and people). I would rather he just be quiet and tattoo. His talking and ranting and taking potshots at others really ruins the experience. He doesn't seem to be too quick on the uptake which makes conversation laborious and awkward. He also spends time on personal phone calls or on hold trying to handle some issues with his personal bills and such. Dude do that on your own time(or while you were 30 mins late opening your shop for my appointment). Not worth the trouble. read more

I was overall pretty happy with my experience today. I gave Johnny a challenge visit when I came to get my ears double pierced, and get two pieces of jewelry changed out. He made sure my lobes were even, put in a captive bead (which sucks to do), and change out my daith jewelry that hasn't been changed out in forever. He managed it all in a reasonable amount of time, we spoke about quality jewelry for my sensitive ears moving forward. Everything was affordable for the quality of a visit I received, and the jewelry I got was extremely fairly priced. I hadn't found a piercer in this area since I moved here two years ago, but I think I just found my place. read more

Today I went back to get my granddaughter name tattooed on my wrist. When I walked in Jimmy was sitting in a chair and I said "hey how are you" and his attitude again was dry but I said "So am I going to get another smile " and he had the nerve to say to me "I didn't appreciate the review on line " I said what I gave you 5 stars and I said I got you to smile. He went ahead in front of my granddaughter and said that was NOT RIGHT AND NOT NICE. Well I really hope the owner that I met when I went in there the 1st time reads this post: Because do his lack of personal attitude I will never go back there again. Thank goodness I didn't have my credit card or glasses so I had to go out side and left and will not be returning. The parking lot was empty so maybe that is one of the reasons. read more

I ONLY come here for tattoos. This is the place to come for custom, personalized artwork. Johnny has always worked with me to come up with something that is exactly what I was looking for. I also know a couple of people who have had work done by Jimmy and they both love their tats. Good prices, cool guys, and a clean shop. Just got 3 piercings done there and I am thrilled! I did a walk-in, the owner was able to take me immediately and was super friendly. Explained what he was going to do and made sure I was happy with the placement of the piercings and all that. Everything was very clean and he opened up all the fresh tools right in front of me. Reasonable prices too; $20 each for a lobe piercing and $30 for a cartilage (jewelry included). The experience wasn't rushed and he clearly knew what he was doing! Could not be happier with my cover-up! I had the most embarrassing tattoo party botch job and Johnny took the time to re-design it into something I can finally show off without shame. He and his guys are super friendly and give good advice. I had a few suggestions but he explained to me why they would not be the best route to take with it - I followed his direction and am SO happy I did.
