My son was with ICS for 3 years, and while at ICS he has grown in so many amazing areas. Not just…read moreacademically but also socially. He would come home every day from school waiting to show his dad and I what he had learned. I remember how he became sad when the weekends would arrived; he would ask me why the school had to close on the weekend. Honestly, if ICS were open on the weekends he would be there. I am so thankful for the hard work and attention Ms. Khouri gives to all the children. They truly LOVE learning...They learned about Composers, famous Artists, Countries, they also learned 3 different languages, Spanish, French and Chinese, they had yoga class, taekwondo, and dance class while my son was attending, they also learned about the human body and how it works, so fantastic.. Thank you -ICS Parent

We teach children French , Spanish and newly added Chinese as our second languages, as well as introduce music and the study of many composers with our students. In class, our students "travel" to a different country as they learn about the world and its people. We take pride in our diverse classroom and teach our students to appreciate the beauty of other cultures. Our age group would be classified under Daycares, Nursery School, Public Pre-schools and Kindergartens however the benefits at our school have far exceeded parents' expectations...

My daughter was at carolyns for a short time but while going there our experience was a nightmare…read more I brought my daughter to daycare ten minutes late for drop off, we had a hectic morning as we are in the middle of moving, I am 8 months pregnant, and have two other children. Upon arrival Carolyn opens the door and proceeds to yell at me infront of my child causing her to cry saying that it was unacceptable for us to be late to the care that WE pay for. When I inquired as to why bringing a two year old ten minutes late to daycare was disruptive (her words) she said that her class had just finished snack. Apparently at the end of snack time my daughter walking in would severely disrupt the other two year olds day. Against my better judgement I left only to receive a call from my husband two minutes later stating Carolyn had called him saying my daughter was 'filthy' with a full diaper needed to be bathed and was a mess and she would be documenting this. I immediately turned my car around went back and took photos of my daughter on the playground who was dressed in all clean clothes, including a BRIGHT WHITE skirt, clean pants, shirt, ect. When I confronted Carolyn she claimed her staff had 'cleaned her up'. Did I mention the staff on the playground watching 15-20 kids all looked to be 14-16 years old? I have photos from my daughter and son taking a bubble bath and covering the bathroom in soap from last night, as well as photos from them snuggling at breakfast in the morning and both children are completely immaculate with clean clothes freshly bathed. Maybe before making false accusations she should consider it's 2021 and everyone documents everything. I also recorded her yelling at me infront of my two year old for being ten minutes late (she states it's actually 15 in the video) so obviously this woman is completely unhinged and vindictive and I would not trust my child or anyone else's in her care.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Evolution…read more Prenatal yoga was so much fun during pregnancy. Being part of a community of other expecting women was really wonderful and supportive! It was also a great way to relax, stretch & exercise. I always looked forward to sharing my status with the group & hearing others before we practiced yoga. Susan is the very best!! Lucky me, I also got to take advantage of Evolution's massage therapy offering a couple times with Annemarie Altadonna. Wow! Her prenatal massages are outstanding - don't hesitate to book one! Take advantage of that "pregnancy card"!! Huge thank you to Jessica & Evolution for the terrific birthing class we attended to prepare for our first baby. The labor comfort & coping techniques, hospital tour, birth beliefs and postpartum education (and so much more) was so helpful on our big day! I'd also like to give a big shout out to Sally MacFadyen and her breastfeeding class hosted at Evolution. Sally is no joke, a boob and baby whisperer! Having her come visit us postpartum was extremely helpful as well. Highly recommend taking her class & following up with her once you're home with your new baby. Looking forward to their new addition in Essex and to try out some new parent groups & postnatal yoga/strengthening classes!

There is so much power in the practice that they offer, and I am overjoyed to be a part of it in so many ways. I really felt the impact during labor, and am just so thankful. Really exited to return to practice with our babe! Thoughts from me: Birth classes were an essential part of our preparation for our first child. I found Susan's teaching-style to be effective, easy-to-follow, and kind. I had zero prior experience with babies, so it was very important for me to get early exposure to the tools and techniques for taking care of an infant. Thanks Susan for helping us get started!
