I called about my washing machine. Bob contacted me the same day and took the time to advise me of two things I could do myself and if that didn't work, buy a new machine. He even recommended the best machine in his opinion. It was a fun and cheerful call. So 10-15 minutes of his time and no money for Bob. I don't know any in-home repair service that would do this - usually its a flat charge just to show up. I saved his number in my contacts. I won't consider calling anyone else. read more

After calling five different companies, my wife and I were pretty demoralized about finding help for our busted washing machine. But then we called Bob who said "see you in an hour". Bobby was awesome - call him! He offered me some tips on the phone if I wanted to try to save the cost of a visit, but was happy to come in person. He made it to us in a day and a half which I thought was pretty great. He fixed our Kenmore washing machine (and cleared out an insane amount of debris from years of use prior to us inheriting the machine with our home purchase). He fixed the machine in under 30min I think. He gave us lots of tips to keep things working well, and he simply charmed the heck out of our cattle dog. Bobby didn't mind the barking and our pup was hugging him begging him not to leave. I think he charged us a very fair price for quick and excellent service. Only thing Id add is that his mailbox was full when I tried to leave a VM, but he texted a few mins later that he was on the other line and would call me back. Our washing machine stopped working and the door on our dryer wouldn't close. I was just going to buy a new set, but after reading the extremely negative reviews of the new washers and dryers with all the computer junk in them I thought I'd try repairing what I had. I read the reviews about Bobby's repair and I called him, and am I glad I did. He was incredibly responsive, his prices are extremely reasonable, he is Covid-concious (masked and distanced) and he is a really nice guy, as honest as the day is long. The best news is that he also sells certain brands, so I'll be buying any new appliances from him in the future. What a relief that I don't have to deal with the box stores anymore, with Bobby I am sure I will get great service after the sale---remember that?? At any rate, Bobby travels all over northern VT so if you have an appliance in need of repair you can't go wrong with contacting Bobby, you'll be glad you did. Highly recommend! read more
