Company charged $390 for after hours backup in sewer line. Approximately 1 month later had the same problem. Came by a second time and cleaned out line. Tech said it would be a $195 charge. I told him person on the phone said no charge and with a look of disbelief he shrugged his shoulders and left. Its now 3 days later and line has backed up. Called company once again and this time the owner answered the phone . Seemed upset about getting the after hours call and proceeded to tell me it would be another $390 charge. He then started arguing with me on reason for the back up in my sewer line. Said it's probably a structural issue with the pipe and it would cost $250 to scope it with a camera. I've used them for pump outs for years w no problems. I thought of them as my go to septic company. When the top of my tank collapsed, I knew who to call. These guys will be on top off the repair, right? Wrong. I called Tuesday morning and was told they'd have someone out in the afternoon or morning on Wednesday. Nobody came Tuesday. Later morning Wednesday, I called to see when their guy would show up and was told that they were "swamped" and wouldn't be able to do the repair for a couple of weeks. I said that would be ok, but I'd like to get an estimate and some advice about continuing to use the system. He replied by telling me they wouldn't be able to do the repair for a couple of weeks. I asked if they wanted the job and was told the same two weeks answer again. I then asked if they had someone scheduled to see my site and was told that they were swamped and couldn't do the repair for two weeks. I then asked if someone could check the system to see if it would hold up for a while and was told "we can't see the future". I can and it doesn't include P and P Septic. After a nightmarish experience with Roto-Rooter, I called P&P to come out and fix the mistakes and damage caused by Roto-Rooter. The P&P folks were amazing. The techs were extremely professional, knowledgable, and courteous. Jarod, one of the owners, even stopped by because he'd heard about how bad my experience was with Roto-Rooter and he wanted to make sure everything got sorted out (thanks Jarod!). I also learned these guys are significantly less expensive than their competition. Lesson learned! I'll be calling P&P for any future drain issues! read more

They were called because the sump pump system for the basement bathroom had failed. They messed around for hours and were unable to do the job - first couldn't figure out the drainage system, then came twice with the wrong replacement pump which did not fit and were going to jerry rig it to fit. They finally were told to just get out. Our handyman did the job correctly. They should stick to sucking out septic tanks read more

I called today as there was a blockage in the sewer line we simply needed somebody to come in with an auger long enough to push the blockage out. PMP they're only concern was payment and ripping the front lawn up without even knowing what the whole details were. When I said we did not want you to come up and dig up the front lawn and dig up the sewage they said well we're going to decline that to me is not very good customer service at all you don't even know what the problem is but you just wanna come and rip apart the septic system. read more

They never tried to oversell me, were very knowledgable and ended up billing me for less than my quote since they fed the pipe under the sidewalk. These guys saved our proverbial bacon. We--nervous first-time homeowners with NO idea what to do with the stinky, poop-filled water that was flooding our basement--called P&P at 11 o'clock on a Sunday night. Were we safe? Should we leave the house? Did they need to come right then? They weren't worried. I cannot begin to express how much this meant to us, and how it meant we actually got any sleep at all that night. They weren't worried, and they'd be over the next morning at 7:30. At 7:00, we get a knock on the door. It took less than an hour from start to finish, from scoping out the damage to giving us advice on how to clean it up and handing us the *incredibly* reasonable bill. $300 to pump 400 gallons of sewage out of our basement, all with a cheerful smile and a professional attitude? Money well spent. I hope we never have to call them again, but if it comes up, we will. A+ recommended for anyone who needs sewage-related work. read more

GREAT SERVICE!!!! These guys are great. They made an emergency trip to my new house on a Sunday for a problem with the trap leading to the main sewer line. We thought is was fixed but it was still backed up. When I called them two days later and explained the problem they rushed right over, spent twice as long working on the problem as they did previously, and refused to charge me because they'd been here so soon. As I understand it they are a family owned company in Williston. If you have any need for their type of services, I cannot recommend their services enough. read more

Have used these guys before. Shouldn't have. Twice now they have broken the covers to our septic tank. First time the guy dropped it onto his shovel this time the guy was banging on it with his lifting hook. We called and were told "happens all the time" of course they sold replacements for $35 plus &150 to deliver. We commented that it was their guy who broke it and then they just got rude. You want one or not? We just hung up. Called another place, got the cover they even said they'd drop it off if they had someone in the area no charge. The first time the guy said we needed our pipe jetted not knowing that it was just a hosing our we agreed for $100+. Guy blew the cap off the pipe in the basement with the high pressure steam and soaked a bunch of our things because he didn't know why there was no water coming back out as it should have according to him. He just kept spraying and continued to soak our belongings, some of which were ruined. Guess what the answer to that was.. we musta loosened the cap. Bye bye P&P. Their service basically the same as what they pump out. read more

I recently had an emergency septic issue and was referred to P&P by my local company whose equipment was malfunctioning. P&P was responsive to the issue and came onsite on the same day. The issue was severe and required a return visit the following morning. The team arrived onsite and began working on the issue before 9am. They were both consultative and results oriented and got the major problem to good place within the limitations we had. It was really nice to actually talk with the person who answered the phone and immediately knew the status of the work and crew every step of the way. My condo management called this company. My tenant said they were there for half an hour. They charged $225. When I called about the charges, I was informed that they have a fee for the service call, then charge if they have to do anything. I wanted to work something out something with them which didn't happen. I want others to be aware that showing up comes with a fee and the work another fee. RIPOFF! read more

I had a doozy of a bad experience with P&P. Here's the short version: They flooded my basement with (my) sewage, didn't seem particularly concerned about this (perhaps the feared legal actions, which I never threatened or took), and canceled subsequent appointments to remedy the situation. It was very unfortunate, and kind of shocking really. Yes, some companies have bad days, but this one was a prolonged bad episode where they really did wrong to someone. Water was coming out of the standpipe for my washer when I flushed the toilets. I called at 8am and two guys were working on it by 11am, and had the clog outside my condo cleared by 1140. They were polite, efficient and laid down cloths to protect the floor. Couldnt ask for more! read more

Jerry was awful to my father. My father has been a customer of p&p for 7+ years. My father recently had a septic issue and P&P came to "fix" the issue. Weeks later this resulted in a large issue, which Jerry was not able to/ refused to fix. Jerry literally told my father to call someone else and hung the phone up on him. I used p&p septic and they served me an outrageous bill. I would not be as upset but they refused to explain the breakdown to me and and the manager was extremely unprofessional on the phone. I had a hole in my septic mound system with water coming out. I called P&P since they've worked on my system in the past and they were able come out the next day. Their service guy, Frank, did a great job diagnosing the problem (broken connection in field pipe) and was able to fix it in a couple of hours. In addition he flushed out the field pipes which had become clogged with gravel from the broken connection and sludge over the last 30 years. He even flushed out a clogged curtain drain unrelated to the septic system. The charge was very reasonable. I couldn't be more satisfied. read more

Our association was a customer until our most recent call for service. They came, found that the ground was frozen, and left. They then hired someone to come with a jackhammer to service the tank without authorization for the additional cost. We recieved the bill with the more than $300 overage on it. We called and spoke with one of the owners of the company to talk about the unauthorized work, and to get a quote for a much larger job. Instead of trying to work with us, he made antisemitic remarks and told us he wasn't interested in doing any more work for us. We paid the bill minus the unauthorized work. He is now threatining individual unit owners with leins if they don't pay the overage. The service was performed on the septic system that is owned and maintained by the association. read more

While the service rendered completed the task to clear our septic drainage pipe, employee Travis absent-mindedly left the gate to our back yard open as he accessed the basement and his truck. One of the dogs who lives here is deaf and is one to see an open gate, go through it, and wander. Travis made a 10-minute effort to find the dog and then asked to settle up. Travis did say "I am sorry your dog is missing but it's not my fault." It was, 100%, his fault. His negligence and lack of attention was remarkable. When one is a guest or performing work on someone else's home, it is customary to leave things as you found them: gates shut, lights off, doors closed. Steer clear of this company. If you have an expensive job and need to pay in installments, beware. Collection practices are shady and possibly illegal and include showing up at your house and calling your neighbors to leave collection messages for you--even when you've been making payments. Slimy and not worth dealing with when there are several other choices in the county. read more

these people broke my washer , they came here to unplug the drain , used my washer to fill with water then flush the drain instead of using an hose they made my in the middle of each function stop and go and crack on my knobs the poor machine didnt know what to do and open the lids at full spins to fill the tub so me more after the repair man broke the machine he kept using it broken and we asked what is that horrible noise is that our washer he didnt answer right away then he replied well yes it is , my husband ran to landry room to hear our machine in distress the man yelled i didnt do it continued to let our machine make this horrible noise called his office and got mistreat and told i was a lier - bouchard and pierce from essex repair came to our house and confirmed they broke it by their actions and burnt my machine up , they didnt need to use my machine to check the line for water they needed to use a hose from the water to the pipe , these people do not know what they are doing and are rude and poor service do not use them if you do watch and record them working , my washer worked and he used it when it worked when he was in the service my washer no longers works so they are not human enough to amit they did wrong and broke it , so they are a service that can rip you off to by lieing what wrong or billing more then what they did , i wouldnt trust people or a company like this at all you can contact me i have nothing to hide please dont use these people to save your self a headache for they have cause me one im very truthful these people are not , move on to another company that is the best review i can give you after my conversation with them and the treatment i got from them i didnt even get im sorry this happen i work way to hard to have these people break my stuff. read more
