Did an excellent job on my older car AC system. This is the best place for car repair in the Waukee area!

Quickly, I was test driving a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I've wanted a Jeep so long as I could drive. Today was the day! Without any haggling they gave me a generous offer for my trade. It's State Fair time so they have lots of manufacturers and dealers incentives on vehicles. I found out my best friend got a minivan the day before from them. His experience was the same as mine. Beginning to end about 2 hours, with no wasted time haggling, all things being purposeful with a friendly salesperson to help. Imar, the Finance guy was kind and fast tracked things so I could surprise the kids after day camp with dad's new Jeep. I 100% recommend David and Deery Brothers Waukee. It's great to see in the large automotive world, smaller family dealers thriving. It's definitely due to their friendly and customer service centered business model. Shop local, drive to Deery!

Zero stars! That is what this dealership receives. Several, several times I had tried to communicate issues about the car I had purchased , even prior to walking out the door with it. Terrible, terrible customer service. They took a test drive in my car, must have stomped on it, when I got it back my canned drink in the console had been crushed and there was liquid all over in the console and cup holders. Tried to sell me the vehicle with a fuel line leak, had to take it to a third party for the dealership to even acknowledge the issue. Several, several times I had tried to address brake and rotor issues, took it to a third party, provided the report to the dealership, all they did was lie and cover up. Said they had replaced the rotors and brakes. Months later, still having issues and another third party said rotors were warped. When you buy a car from this dealership they make sure you will come back to spend MORE money just to fix the issues on the car they sold you. Mouse nest in the engine bay area, flat tire, etc. Craziest part of it all, it was a certified vehicle. I was even offered positions to work at the dealership, bribary?? Poor service, lies, does NOT care about reputation obviously. I would steer clear from ever purchasing any vehicle from this location. The laws make it very hard to sue a dealership so I am attempting to save the future consumer time and money. Please do NOT waste your time. They are snakes

I told him of my concerns and he reassured me that they will look over it thoroughly. I received my inspection report within a few hours, and I am so so happy I did this! This was the most in depth, thorough prepurchase inspection I have ever gotten. My suspicions were right on with the vehicle. At 120,000 miles, I saw that the Carfax didn't mention any maintenance or service past the 100,000 mile mark, BIG red flag! At that mileage there's much that needs to be done...timing belt, all fluids flushed, possible water pump, gaskets, shocks/struts, etc. None of that had been done to this car, resulting in needing a timing belt replacement (I thought I heard the faint sound of it being worn out when I test drove it), shocks/struts, gasket leaks, and a new alternator, to the tune of around $7,000. Oh, and the kicker was they found that there were several diagnostic codes that were recently cleared. Hmmm, wonder who cleared those? Needless to say, I did not purchase this vehicle. I did inform the dealership that was selling it of the issues, and as you can imagine, they didn't care and said that Christian Bros was making stuff up so they could sell me more services. Um, you're also trying to sell me something and it smells like lemons! Christian Bros has never let me down, and I've never done business with you. BTW- we live in Ankeny and Christian Bros has been our go to for honest, reliable car repairs. I will continue looking and will always bring my cars to them, they are the best! Best $200 I have ever spent.

They replaced my transmission back in november and had to bring the car back 2 more times for issues related to this. Even after 3 total trips they still could not fix the problem and I brought it to another shop. They miss things like properly securing bolts back into place on very important parts on the car. The condition they would give the car back to me was insane (all 3 times) with grinding noises, not shifting into park, etc and the 3rd time, I had to have the steering wheel completely turned 90 degrees to drive straight. It's like they don't even test drive them after the work is done... On top of this, I can't even count how many times we were told "Should be done today" or "should be done tomorrow" and it took another week. Terrible communication, terrible quality of work. Would HIGHLY recommend avoiding.

The guy at the counter pulled it back in and topped off the oil and realized that the technician also put the wrong weight of oil in. Instead of correcting the problem, the guy at the front desk told me that it would be fine. My vehicle is under a factory warranty and it states the wrong weight of oil will void the factory warranty. I filled out the online survey and requested to be contacted but nobody has reached out to me. This was also the most expensive oil change that I have ever paid for.
