Third Lie; I DID NOT MOVE ANY BARREL blocking your carwash entrance & for you to accuse me of doing that is beyond ridiculous. If Shawn is such an honest guy, as you initially touted to me, he would have told you HE MOVED THAT BARREL & then told me to drive in & he'd start the carwash. Several, several times I had tried to communicate issues about the car I had purchased , even prior to walking out the door with it. Terrible, terrible customer service. They took a test drive in my car, must have stomped on it, when I got it back my canned drink in the console had been crushed and there was liquid all over in the console and cup holders. Tried to sell me the vehicle with a fuel line leak, had to take it to a third party for the dealership to even acknowledge the issue. Several, several times I had tried to address brake and rotor issues, took it to a third party, provided the report to the dealership, all they did was lie and cover up. Said they had replaced the rotors and brakes. Months later, still having issues and another third party said rotors were warped. When you buy a car from this dealership they make sure you will come back to spend MORE money just to fix the issues on the car they sold you. Mouse nest in the engine bay area, flat tire, etc. Craziest part of it all, it was a certified vehicle. I was even offered positions to work at the dealership, bribary?? Poor service, lies, does NOT care about reputation obviously. I would steer clear from ever purchasing any vehicle from this location. The laws make it very hard to sue a dealership so I am attempting to save the future consumer time and money. Please do NOT waste your time. They are snakes

Of course we have no idea what to do, nothing was open on Saturday actually nothing was open until Monday morning. I sent an SOS message out at midnight on some website I don't even know which one but when I woke up on Saturday morning it was answered by The Ezee Way! I had a message from this business he told me where to drop the car off, asked when they needed to be back to Chicago and bing bang boom, he was good for his word. He assessed the condition, and gave us a full quote as to what his charges would be. He fixed the problem for exactly what he told us he would charge, and the car drives like a new car! He charged a $65 diagnostic fee and I noticed when we got the invoice that fee was taken off of the bill. He provided pictures before during and after the process. He is honest from start to finish. We were given a service for exactly what we agreed to no surprises no problems just a fixed vehicle and a safe drive home for our family members. So we lost out at least $1200 out on it. The whole thing is very dishonest. The extended warranty was 2000 more then another dealership, I won't be surprise any else is too. I received my inspection report within a few hours, and I am so so happy I did this! This was the most in depth, thorough prepurchase inspection I have ever gotten. My suspicions were right on with the vehicle. At 120,000 miles, I saw that the Carfax didn't mention any maintenance or service past the 100,000 mile mark, BIG red flag! At that mileage there's much that needs to be done...timing belt, all fluids flushed, possible water pump, gaskets, shocks/struts, etc. None of that had been done to this car, resulting in needing a timing belt replacement (I thought I heard the faint sound of it being worn out when I test drove it), shocks/struts, gasket leaks, and a new alternator, to the tune of around $7,000. Oh, and the kicker was they found that there were several diagnostic codes that were recently cleared. Hmmm, wonder who cleared those? Needless to say, I did not purchase this vehicle. I did inform the dealership that was selling it of the issues, and as you can imagine, they didn't care and said that Christian Bros was making stuff up so they could sell me more services. Um, you're also trying to sell me something and it smells like lemons! Christian Bros has never let me down, and I've never done business with you. BTW- we live in Ankeny and Christian Bros has been our go to for honest, reliable car repairs. I will continue looking and will always bring my cars to them, they are the best!
