I recently purchased a 2017 volkswagon from them. Upon an inspection by volkswagon this vehicle isn't safe to be on the highway. The whole front end of the vehicle is falling apart. A perfect carfax was provided by them, however the vehicle has been in a major accident. The whole front end of the vehicle is pieced together and subject to fall apart when driving down the highway. When lunde was informed of this, and given a copy of the inspection report, their reply was the vehicle was purchased as is and its no longer their problem. I am stuck with a $20,000 bill to pay and a vehicle I can't drive. This is the kind of service you can expect from them. Lunde sold us a car in June 2025 with a lot of problems including a bad engine, brakes, and battery. Their staff deleted problem codes and told us there wasn't a problem when there were. Lunde never detailed the vehicle as they promised, instead it came back to us filthy, filled with a strong stench of tobacco and also with a small dent and large scratch keyed along the passenger side. Car found to have problems a day after purchase and were reported. It was under warranty and Lunde still has not repaired it or returned our money. Staff avoided contact with us. This vehicle is now an ornament in our yard. We desperately needed a vehicle to transport our 12 year old son who has brain cancer to medical appointments after hitting a deer with our prior vehicle and this experience with a Lune vehicle was the result. I bought a Chevy Silverado from Cody Kent at Lunde Auto Sales on 09/20/2021. One hour down the road my check engine light comes on and my breaks starts making noises. I call Cody back he says to me just don't worry about the check engine light wait until the loan goes through then you can use your engine coverage that you purchased with the truck. Then I asked him about the breaks etc. His response was "Okay, brakes and tires are regular maintenance on vehicles. I made sure you knew that the tires were going to need replacement sooner rather than later. We are not in the business of taking vehicles back." WHEN I TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE SHOP MY BREAKS WERE SHOT!!!! I didn't have any break!!!!!! I was driving and couldn't stop. I will show anyone who wants to see the receipt and I will give you the auto shops number and the name of the mechanic. To make it even worse I told Cody I needed a reliable truck because I work with people who have disabilities and I need transportation. bought a pickup and seller agreed to fix the alternator on the truck at their cost (within 30 days of purchase). we called and called and called, even left voicemails...but never got a response. we still love the truck but this was a totally bad way to handle business on their part. so now we have to get the alternator fixed somewhere else. we loved the customer service while we were there and everyone was so nice, but this was a TOTAL let down. read more
