The previous owner had it done this way for the purpose of keeping it cheap and keeping it low maintenance during the years he lived here. Over the last few years after I purchased it, I got 3 quotes from 3 different companies to do a section of turf. I never committed to a company to do it because I didn't feel confident they could deliver what I wanted. Fast forward to two weeks, I met with Sean from Turf Monsters. After hearing my vision for the yard, he was quick about getting me their quote on the same day. Not only that, but he had an extensive knowledge of the kinds of turf they had that would fit my yard best, the process of whole installation, how to maintain it, etc. It wasn't a hard choice; I chose them to do my turf project feeling confident they would handle the job well. And did they ever! At my request, they managed to get my installation scheduled earlier than originally planned. Materials were dropped off and installers showed up as scheduled on the day they began. Every single encounter during the installation was professional and friendly. It took less than the original two-day quote for the 25'x30' area, the three man installation team finishing in only one day. And it turned out better than I had imagined it to! The bright green turf looks stunning with the original rock landscape against it. And the dogs are beyond happy with it, running around and wrestling on it, but also relaxing on it too as it doesn't get super hot in the sun. I've received so many compliments on it from neighbors and friends that have seen it, saying it completely changed the entire backyard for the better. I had a very disappointing experience with this company and would strongly caution others before…read morehiring them. I paid to have brand new turf installed because I was told my existing turf needed to be replaced due to visible seams. After the job was completed, the new turf still has seams, which defeats the entire reason I agreed to replace it in the first place. I also paid for a completely new irrigation system, but it appears that it was never actually replaced. Many of the sprinklers still have the same old sprinkler heads and tops, yet the company insists the system was replaced. The visible evidence suggests otherwise. Additionally, I paid for repairs to my fire pit, and within three days the structure was already cracked again. The professionalism on-site was also lacking. During the job, the crew took a break for about an hour sitting on our personal lawn chairs and didn't even bother to put them back, and they left trash and debris behind when they finished. What's most frustrating is that I've reached out multiple times to have these issues addressed, and each time I've been pushed aside, given excuses, or told things that simply aren't true. At this point I feel like I paid a significant amount of money for work that was not completed as promised and was poorly executed. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this company to others. Update. The owner has informed us that we will be receiving a refund that should have arrived today. If course it did not arrive, not is he answering any attempts to reconcile. This shows how crooked he is.

We needed a lot of big bushes cut back by quite a bit and had a Palo Verde Tree that we were unsure if we wanted cut down or just trimmed. He provided us quotes for every option and we ended up going with just having it trimmed. He asked us for feedback as he went to make sure i was left with something i was happy with. His prices were great for the work they do + the clean up and haul away. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.
