As a longtime lover of the brand, it is very exciting to be near a store, and they are consistently well stocked with all my favorite products, especially their Scrubee, bath bomb selection, Sticky dates line, and amazing solid perfumes! I also enjoy all their seasonal displays and products, which they display beautifully and are well-informed on. What truly makes the experience at Lush, however, is their impeccable customer service. I was in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving looking to treat myself to a new fragrance but I had questions and since no one said anything when I entered the very small store or the entire time I stood in front of the fragrances it felt too awkward to ask for help. There was a guy working who was maybe in his late thirties and someone I couldn't see sitting behind the register and all they did was talk to one another. There was a couple shopping bath bombs and no one spoke to them either at least while I was there. This isn't my first bad experience at Lush recently but it will probably be my last. read more

Here is the dealio. I have some of the most sensitive skin in the world on my face- even cetaphil likes to leave me hurting. I can never wear face masks and it's a bummer because y'know self-care Well 1) This place is the bees knees! 2) I walked in, got to wash my hands with a one time tester of their product (which I ended up buying- literally smells so good aka the Outback Mate) but #3 is the most important. 3) I got a face mask that helps my skin and doesn't irritate it. I worked at a makeup/skin store before and tried over 90 face masks. This is the best one I've found. It's called "BB Seaweed" and it looks like artichoke dip, but feels so good!! I came into Lush trying to find the Sticky Dates soap and the worker helping me was Kylie! She was absolutely amazing and so helpful. The soap was out of stock when I went and she gave me a date and time for when they would be back in stock, she also pointed out some other options that smell similar. I came back and she was there again and even more helpful! Kylie was a superstar in recommending the right products, I left knowing I'll be returning soon! Let's be real: if you're reading reviews for Lush, you're probably already a fan of their products. I know why you're here. You want to know if it's one of *those* Lush stores. The ones where the associates descend on you like a swarm of mosquitoes on a plump, sweaty meat sack. White on rice. Flies on shit. Your shadow gaining sentience and wanting to explain complex concepts like "but wut soap do?" I'm happy to report that this Lush is not one of those Lushes! Even though I've loved Lush products for nearly two decades, so many times in their brick-and-mortar stores, I've thought, "Nevermind, I'll shop online," and nope'd the hell out. I do not know why so many stores use this strategy because I know I'm not the only want who wants to browse in relative peace. Anyhow, I actually left this store with a purchase. I grabbed a Christmas present and a replacement shampoo for myself. I was pressed for time and I lament not being able to luxuriate in the being-left-the-eff-aloneness. I will definitely be shopping in person more often. I'm not even sure I was acknowledged here until I checked out, which I would normally consider rude, but when compared to the alternative, please continue treat me like an unwashed mass. This is the best Lush location I've ever been to. I always cringe when I go into Lush because the employees are trained to follow you around the store and bother you the entire time you're shopping. I walked into the Lush on Village Pointe and the employees all greeted me, asked what I was shopping for, and when they got the vibe I didn't want to be bothered, they promptly left me alone and let me know they were there IF I had any questions. THAT is excellent customer service right there. There have been times at Bath and Body Works where I have left the store without spending any money because the employees bothered me so much. For people with social anxiety, stores that operate that way are an absolute nightmare. I appreciate the employees at this particular Lush for understanding that you can make a sale without being obnoxious and bothering customers. For the record, yes, I did walk out of there with three bath bombs. :) read more

I came in with my sister and her 2 friends. We didn't get greeted even though we were the only ones in the shop. My sister and her friends (they are middle schoolers) were browsing and looking at different things. One of the employees yells at them from across the room TWICE and it came off very rude. I could understand if they were being disrespectful, but they were being very polite. It made me feel so bad when they got yelled at, I felt very awkward and uncomfortable. i am knowledgeable about skincare and cosmetology, but when i know more about their own products than the employees, there is a problem. i used to love this lush location especially it being the only one in a 7 hour radius. the employees used to be very kind, warm, knowledgeable and overall, a pleasure to talk to. however, since covid, the store has declined in both its inventory and the service. nearly everything has added fragrance for no reason, which is not this locations fault, but you should not recommend products with fragrance to somebody who specifies that they have extremely sensitive/reactive skin. the products that i used to use religiously are never in store anymore, which is unfortunate to be honest, i most likely will not be using lush products anymore for that i cannot seem to receive useful recommendations for my skin conditions any longer. plus, almost everything has fragrance which is something that skin care companies need to leave in the past!!! read more

I've been a slave to Lush since 2007, when a vegan friend introduced me to the fun side of natural products. When I heard Lush would be setting up shop in Omaha, I was beyond excited. Finally, I could smell and play with products in person instead of ordering off the website or trekking down to Kansas City for a day trip! Located in Village Point, this Lush location is particularly small. It's kind of difficult to navigate if there are more than 5 people in the store at a time. This is a store with such exciting products that you tend to linger a few minutes in one place smelling and testing, so you def need to be aggressive when you are trying to get a certain item. The staff is friendly but overly helpful, to the point of being pushy. I know from experience that this is how they are trained, so if you do not like to be constantly hounded by workers, keep this is mind. The store is always well stocked and clean, and new products are rolled out on a weekly basis. Prices are always on the higher side, which is partly from ingredients sourced and partly because the company has a strong hold on natural and funky products in the main market. You can get samples of virtually anything, just ask. I personally recommend The Comforter bubble bar and American Cream hair conditioner. Both smell amazing! Visiting the Lush store is a monthly stop for me to stock up on bathtime goodies, and once yo visit, it will be for you too! read more

The staff at this location are by far the nicest lush employees I've ever met, which says a lot considering Lush like Trader Joe's is mainly staffed by ultra gregarious, charismatic and welcoming personalities. Both of the staff working when I visited the two times while I was visiting were helpful and virtuous and some of the most laid back people, they made me feel welcome and helped me find the perfect things Everytime. I will 1000% be visiting this location again the next time I'm in town from California. I got the Ro's argan soap my first visit- it may not be the prettiest looking soap but it feels so luxe and moisturizing on my skin, I tend to get really dry hands and this helped keep my skin feeling plump and supple. The scent of this soap reminds me of a Persian ice cream sandwich- warm sweet, notes of rose, almost a caramelized sugar smell and saffron, though I don't think it has saffron, it's a warm enticing smell that also knocks it out of the park with moisture. I also got four bath bombs- sex bomb, looks cute as heck and smells like a dream, the peach bath bomb, it's so cute and makes the water the perfect peachy hue, a seasonal egg shaped bath bomb that made the water purple and smell like cotton candy, a blue bath bomb with a real dried daisy and rich cocoa butter inside thy left my skin softer than a babies butt, and milk bath a bubble bar that gives the water a soft milky hue and helps moisturize your skin in the bath. I also bought three other soaps on my second trip #13 bad luck for dirt, smells like spices, all in all a yummy scent. Lemon zest? It smells like summer, so nice! There's so many options with samples set out to try. There are several prepackaged gift boxes perfect for birthdays or holidays. I've known and Loved Lush for years and was extremely happy that one opened here in Omaha. The products are just wonderful . I recommend that if you never been to Lush to start out small and buy a bath bomb or bubble bars, then you will be hooked for life! bubble bars are basically solid bubble bath where you break off a piece and run it under water for a mountain of bubbles. The bath bombs are solid , mostly round with various scents and colors that add fun to your tub while adding softness and greatness to your water. I love the solid shampoos and the shower gels. My son loves the "fun" which comes in a variety of colors and scents. Its like playdoh for kids but you use it in the bath and its shampoo, soap, bubble bath,, etc so its well worth your money and last a long time. The staff is friendly and not pushy at all. Some of these places they can be but this location is great on not being that way. They are more then willing to help you find the items you want and demonstrate products that you are unsure of. I went here about a month ago for my 15th birthday for a shopping trip, I walked in and looked around and started talking to a girl that worked there. She showed me all the face masks and sprays and everything about the products and I really had a amazing experience. I had never been to or heard of Lush until I saw it opened in Village Pointe. It piqued my curiosity so I stopped by. There were several associates at the door all eager to help (which is both great and terrifying at the same time). I wanted a minute to just eye ball the store but immediately got pulled into bath bombs and I don't even have a bath tub I told the associate and she reverted me to shower stuff and gave me a tour of the store. Anyway, I still had excellent help and will surely be back for some fresh face masks and other neat stuff. So far I have the imperialis moisturizer and the toner water. I love Lush! I haven't purchased a single product here that I have not loved. Today I went it to get products to do a complete overhaul on my skincare routine. Marissa spent about 20 minutes with me, listening to my concerns, and demonstrating various products on my hand. She was extremely knowledgeable on all of the products, including ingredients and vegan items. Tonight is night one of trying out the products, and it will probably be a few weeks before I notice any differences, but I can say that I really enjoyed applying all of the products! My favorite skin/hair/cosmetics store!! Everything is freshly handmade, cruelty free and vegetarian (some even vegan). The staff is incredible, always willing to help and will answer any of your questions. And the thing I love most is that their employees are genuinely bubbly. You can tell that they love their products about they way they talk about all the benefits of them. My favorite items are the "Herbalism" face wash and the "Big" shampoo scrub! I live about 15 minutes from there, but it's definitely worth the drive. I wouldn't mind if they opened another one closer to central Omaha since a lot of people do complain about the distance. The store manager needs a lesson in customer service. She is beyond rude and horrible! We were there today buying some products. I go there quite frequently but honestly think I will use online from now often. First she was very polite as she was trying products on my daughter and encouraging her to buy them (my daughter is 12 so I don't know who she thought was buying her products). I also had excitedly brought 2 friends from out of town because I had told them how awesome it was. I asked for two samples (which I usually do and they liberally give them). Before we had a store in Omaha I would go to Kansas City and leave with tons of samples and free expired gift sets. Anyway, she asked me if I had tried the products I was asking for samples of. I told her that I had but that I wanted my daughter to try them. Suddenly she snapped and said "samples are only for new customers to try products." I remarked that no one had ever told me that! My friends who witnessed this interaction just looked at me and dropped their basket with over $200 in products. Ended up with a sample the size of a pea and an empty container. She knows me by name because she had yelled at me in the After Christmas sale line because I confronted her on how they changed their store hours on Facebook. Myku is about the only helpful friendly one there. If you are going to treat customers who spend a fortune there that way, perhaps you need to stay in the back room. I worked retail 15+ years and she does not deserve to work here. I wish corporate would help me get her removed. I gave one star because I'm a lushie for life but she should not be working here. She gets negative 10 stars and I guess I won't get to try or sample new products again. read more
