We had a 6.5 hour wine tour for a party of six in the lovely limousine-style van. The seating area was spacious and comfortable. In response to this absolutely False recap/retort by Travis, owner of Lush Limo, 1) the driver Travis set up for us was texting on her phone while driving up a curvy mountainous road and veered off the paved road into a POTHOLE, causing not only a flat tire, but a broken RIM! It was the first day on the job for her and (driving and texting) must be ok for Travis' drivers ?? 2)Travis did NOT get a tow for us! My husband waited for 4 hours for our AAA (busy holiday weekend and thank goodness for AAA) Travis would have left us in the dust! We paid $1000 to tow our car back to Newport (7 plus hours) 3)Travis did NOT have a car pick us up to take us back to the hotel! I called our hotel, Allegretto, and the awesome food and beverage director, Thomas, felt terrible about the awful situation and drove 40 minutes up the mountain to take me and Travis' driver back to our hotel! Otherwise, we'd have no ride! The entire hotel staff was in complete disbelief over the disgusting way in which Travis turned his head and left us stranded! 4)Travis did nothing to get a rental car for us! I called our AMEX who found one rental car in San Louis Obispo! The driver was in tears and felt awful about this accident and nightmare she caused and said the least she could do was drive me to San Louis Obispo to get the rental car. 5) Travis, we look forward to seeing you in court for the broken rim, tire, tow, rental car (totaling $4,897) and we'll publish the results! We called Lush to get a driver to take us and our dear friends on a day of winetasting. Our driver, Teresa, was on time, very nice and proved to be extremely helpful as we encountered a few "adventures" along the way. First, there was some issues with the first winery regarding our club pick up and some swap-outs we wanted, and they were having a hard time handling the process quickly, so Teresa offered to come back after she took us to our next stop, which she did and that really helped us stay on track for the day! We also enjoyed a wonderful Charcuterie board from Holly at Cheese Box Company that Lush provided that was simply amazing! Second, after lunch my wife forgot her purse and didn't realize until we were at our next stop, but never fear-Teresa went back for it while we enjoyed a great tasting at LXV! Teresa is very nice, knows the area well as a finer wine industry worker and was completely unflappable and sweet throughout the entire day. Can't say enough about Lush Limousine Services, and the owner Travis. From start to finish he was incredibly helpful. We rented our own private passenger van and he hooked us up with his driver, Jorge. Before the trip, Travis helped us coordinate lunch for both days and set us up several wineries. But Jorge was the corner stone to our two days of fun and success. It was like having our own personal assistant. He made sure we were comfortable as he drove us around both days. He always carried our bags/boxes of wine to the van, labeled them, and put them away. And he kept us on schedule throughout the day, making sure we had plenty of warning when it was time to leave. We were so happy with Lush Limousine! We were staying at Allegretto and asked them who they recommend if we wanted to have a car take my husband, dog, 2 young children and myself to 3 wineries. (Safety first! My husband and I both wanted to do wine tastings.) They recommended Travis and his team. When we spoke, he offered a driver who can drive OUR car. Brilliant! I had never heard of such a thing and that is HUGE for parents of young kids because of what a pain it is to uninstall and re-install carseats. Plus, it was more cost effective. Travis also did the legwork of helping us select the wineries and make reservations directly and he took our wants/needs into account. Beware of their pricing quotes! ! We were given a quote and at the end of the day we were charged double the price!!! They have a minimum of 5 hours, we did go over our time but it wasn't even 3 hours longer, and they were the ones that helped us schedule the tours. They obviously knew from the beginning how much time we would've needed. Half of our group didn't even do the wine tasting, just along for the ride. They should've been more honest from the start Feel very cheated and overcharged!!! I put a quote request out to 6 different companies on Yelp Friday night around 6pm, looking for a party bus the next day for a wine tasting tour. It was unplanned and I honestly didn't expect to hear back from anyone. Within 15 minutes I received a call from Travis at Lush Limosine Service & Wine Tours. Travis was great. He asked what we had planned, discussed the vehicles/prices and gave his recommendations. They had two vehicles available for rent the next day, the 14 passenger transit van and the 17 passenger forward facing party bus. There were only 7 of us but the bigger party bus seemed more up our ally. Travis took my card info but only to hold the reservation or if we cancelled. We booked for 11-4 the next day with Jason. Jason showed up at our airbnb for pickup at 11am exactly as planned. We weren't quite ready yet, but it wasn't a problem. Jason patiently waited for us to get our act together. About 40 minutes later than planned, we finally boarded the bus and took off. The bus (USS LUSH) itself was amazing, stocked with bottles of water on ice, 2 bottles of complimentary champagne, glasses, a good sound system, lights, fuzzy roof... the whole nine yards. I initially thought the front facing seats might be a little awkward but they were not at all. There was plenty of room in front to stand and move around along with a sizeable alley between the two sides. Jason is the real hero of the day. To start, he is a great driver. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the different wineries, breweries, restaurants etc. He made several excellent winery recommendations that we ended up visiting. He always brought us to the front steps. He was gracious enough to carry the wine we purchased back to the bus, take group photos for us, would check on us in the winery to see if there was anything we needed or anything he could do for us. Jason went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I cannot recommend him enough. We had an amazing day and it was 100% because of Jason. You definitely want to ask for him when booking. We were celebrating two birthdays for the weekend and our time with Jason and Lush Limo made the weekend.
