I also received a gel manicure and my tech kindly repaired one of my broken nails prior to painting. Upon arrival at her salon in Bound Brook NJ I was surprised that this didn't seem like a going business. It was dark, dirty and in a state of disorganization. The waxing room didn't appear to be a place where one would feel comfortable disrobing for this type of service. My heart was telling me to just leave and chalk it off to a potential bad experience avoided. I persevered and stayed. I disrobed and lied down on her waxing table. She stated the process of waxing. She didn't seem to have an organized and methodical system of waxing different areas to insure each area was completely hair free after the process. She started using an electric trimmer. She stated that it was to shorten the hairs and that each area would be waxed afterwards. That didn't happen! The end result was some areas were waxed and most were not. They were shaven with her electric hair trimmer. She made a statement that her price was a good deal. I never made any issue over her fee! All in all I would never return to Lenore's for this or any service. My advice to all is; spend more money at another salon which seems like it is an ongoing business and have this service done by an operator who is knowledgeable and has a proven technique so that afterwards all hair has been removed by waxing and not a combination of waxing and an electric razor.

The owner of a particular salon tried to price gouge me not realizing It was my 3rd time there. I called her out on it. I can happily say that Glamour nails wasn't like this. I was immediately greeted at the front door. I was told to go wash my hands. I sat down with Karen and she not only took me on time but I was out the door in 45 minutes. She did a great job on my nails. She listen to what I wanted and she filed my nails exactly how I requested, (squared.) My nails look great! They're completely squared and not crooked like the other place did. I get acrylic with gel polish and I highly recommend it. All of the sample nail polish charts were completely encased in plastic so not to spread any germs. The salon was clean and everyone wore a mask. Between the manicurist and myself was plexiglass. They are doing a good job social distancing. I like that they use D&G gel polish. I would never come back here or recommend this place. I have spent over 1500$ on medical treatments for these warts which is quite painful, and nothing has worked. If you dont want warts all over ur cuticles you should avoid this place entirely.

It came out so brassy and damaged. She should have told me what my options would be for going lighter before doing anything. It was already too late by the time the foils came out. She did a few foils, walked away, came back and did a few more, then got coffee and was talking on the phone. She was talking to the other stylists in the salon rather than paying attention to what she was doing. She was rude again when I told her I didn't like it. I left without getting a cut because I didn't trust her. It's much easier to fix color than a bad cut. This is going to cost me another trip to another salon and spending hundreds to fix it.
