They do not have enough staff too help customers. Went in today to get a Mani/Pedi and waited for nearly an hour until I ended up leaving. They moved me to a pedi chair (which had cold water in it) and then while I was waiting, someone else walked in sat down right next to me and was served 1st. I am super bummed, as I really wanted to like this place. It is under new management so I hope they figure it out. read more

This review is based on a pedicure service only. After opting to get a pedicure here I was very displeased!! I spent 2hr in a pedicure chair and didn't receive a full pedicure. I informed the tech I had gel polish on my toes before hand. Another tech came and took off the gel the did my cuticles. Mind you my feet never got the water again until they rinse my feet before polishing. My feet were out of the water and on foot rest so long that my feet went to sleep and my knees started to hurt. Once I got to this point I told her to just polish my toes. Because never in life has it taken 2hr to fill acrylic on two big toes and clip cuticles! I was given a 1m massage total only on my legs and was still charged full price for the pedicure. She discounted $8 for the acrylic fills on the big toes and that was it. Never again will I get a pedicure there. read more

Went to this location because I was meeting my sister there. She had a great experience with Tai. Unfortunately I got the other male tech and I was less than pleased. I asked for ombré. He tried and nails were extremely uneven so I then asked to change it to full color. Staff then get up and go talk to a female staff member in their language making a fuss. I have no problem if they don't know how to do ombre, I would've just originally requested full color. But don't start something you aren't experienced in, leave a mess and expect me not to say anything when I'm paying for it. If I ever do go back I'll just ask for my sister's nail tech...that's a big if though. Good luck if you choose this place read more

This is the first nail salon I have tried in Buda/Kyle and I was a little nervous because I had my fav salon in Austin but it's too far now. I chose this one mainly because it had the most stars (I take reviews seriously and a lot of other salons in the area have one star! ) and it was near another business I was at. I took my mother in law with me and we both really loved our nails! She got hers done by Jenny and I didn't catch the gal's name who did mine. We went on a weekday around 2 pm and there were hardly any people, and the environment was relaxing. They have plenty of drinks to choose from and a margarita machine lol but they were really nice and I will definitely be back! The only thing I would say is it a bit pricier than other salons I've been to, but given the fact that I loved my nails and the reviews were better than most, I didn't mind so much. Lush Nails Spa is the best nail salon I've been to since moving to the area 4 years ago! I was immediately greeted upon arrival and was pleasantly surprised at how well kept and elegant the interior was. Tai, the nail technician who worked on me, was incredible! He paid close attention to every detail and executed the exact look I was going for. His powder brush technique is expert level and made my nails look so natural and not chunky. I was so happy to see this place finally open. I treated myself to a birthday shellac manicure in a shiny new nail salon only to be disappointed by the customer service. The nail tech seemed irritated from the beginning. I went in on Wednesday about two hours before closing and it was pretty dead. He said maybe two words to me? He just seemed upset. Don't get me wrong, I don't need someone to talk to me but don't rush through my manicure. I always skip the massage just not my thing. The end result was a rushed unpleasant, aggressive, and very awkward shellac manicure. The color wasn't applied to the entire nail and the sides looked unfinished. Got my hopes up about this new spot because the reviews I read were for the most part encouraging. Willing to pay a little extra when it's worth it but this experience was not. I ordered a pedicure and a gel manicure. I will say the massage chairs are very nice they even have a little hook for your purse on the side. I went in during lunch so it wasn't busy at all. Probably three others there. The gentleman that did my pedicure was nice. Offered me something to drink and confirmed what I wanted. He did try to up sell but not pushy. Felt bad for him because the lady that was going to be doing my nails stood behind him rushing him to finish. She then came over and started my manicure while he was still working on my feet. Not relaxing whatsoever! Once he was done with my toes she had me rush to her chair where she did the fastest manicure I've ever had. She left rough edges and cut my cuticle too much and it bled. So in love with these nails!!! Bao did an amazing job and was very detail oriented with every step. I hate to bother people by asking for more and he made sure to check in and ask if I was ok with everything every few minutes. I haven't ever gotten fake nails but I'm definitely hooked after this set. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They offered a variety of drink options as soon as I came in and even let my boyfriend sit with me so he wouldn't have to wait at the front. They did not scrub the bottom of my feet which I paid extra for and I chose $45 pedicure the charged me $70 because they used the gel with the lights. This place is horrible....me and my daughter went to get our nails done by Tai, who was highly recommended by a friend. My nails from the get go we're shorter than what I wanted, they were not shaped the way I wanted them and they were all uneven. When I got home I noticed that several of them were really rough around the edges like he did not buff them correctly. As the day went on I started to notice that they were all lifting. I have not checked my daughter so I don't know what hers looks like but I can probably bet the are the same. When I called I spoke to a guy named Jerry who told me to come back in the next day so that he can fix them. So when I get there this afternoon and surprise surprise Jerry is not in and none of the other girls wanted to help fix them. They told me that Tai could fix them but in all honesty why would I want someone to fix them who couldn't do them correctly the first time. I will be returning tomorrow to try to get my money back or to get a whole new set put on. I do not recommend this place to anyone! read more
