I decided to stay and wait, 30mins later at 5:06 I opened my car door to see the lady fast walking to lock the door. Out of embarrassment I called from inside my car, and no answer. After approaching the door she came and said they don't take people past 5pm, although online and posted it says 6pm! The people in this salon are racist. They're rude and not welcoming at all. When you walk in they look at you up and down making an ugly face at you. I asked for my 5 year old to get his nails cut down and to turn on the water for him to soak his feet in, but they said no. The lady doing my 5yr old toe nails was being rough with him even though she clearly heard him saying ...ouch it hurts. I will never come back to this place it's horrible we've never been treated this way in a nail salon. DON'T COME HERE & go to another nail salon that don't treat people poorly. This salon is racist. They don't service the minority population. I went in there to get my nails done. I asked for the dip powder and the lady working there was unwelcoming, unprofessional, discriminatory ( hateful eyes) and rude in her mannerisms, tone of voice and body language; Saying we don't have the dip powder. What kind of nail salon doesn't have dip powder? I'll never go back there ever again. I felt rejected because of the color of my skin. This business treats people from different ethnicities other than their own horribly. They deserve a 0 star. read more

Mediocre pedicure. I tried them twice and though I did NOT choose the basic, there was no foot or leg massage included.

I wasn't expecting much going here because of the reviews but I called around 3:30 on a Thursday and got in immediately. I was the only one there. I asked for square white acrylic full set. The guy working spent a long time focusing on shaping my nails and filing. He took his time and did not rush. However even with all the filing and shaping my nails were still extremely thick. They don't look terrible but they aren't great. I don't think he meant to do them bad they are just his way of shaping. The nail color isn't bad at all just some minor imperfections. However they were very inexpensive. $45 for a full set and gel polish. read more

Came in with a friend to get manicures. We were greeted and seated right away. The staff was very sweet, but I will say my friends technician was a little pushy. We both chose holographic shades. My technician, Rose, was so gentle and very kind! My nails came out very clean and smooth (first 2 pics). However, my friends technician was a little rough. After deciding she didn't like her original color, she asked for a darker one. He redid them, free of charge, but they were very rushed and he made her feel bad for asking in the first place. After paying, we reviewed her nails (last 2 pics) and although the color was very nice, she wasn't happy with how short he cut them or the cuticle job. She was even bleeding from it. I will say the salon is very well kept, and hygienic, but I highly recommend Rose for a gel manicure! read more

Walked right in and immediately felt not welcome. I walked in at 530 to fix one nail and they said sorry we are closed when it clearly states on the door and online they close at 6. But she said they didn't have time. Wow didn't know that when it says you close at 6 means you actually close at 530. It wouldn't have taken much time to fix one nail and there was only 2 people in the shop. Poor Costumer service. I'll be sure to tell my boss I can not take clients at my own job 30 minutes prior to Closing. Save your time and money. read more

My experience at Hot Nails was one of the best nail salon experiences I've ever had. We came in with a very large group for my best friend's wedding and the staff greeted us with a sandwich platter, fruit tray, candy and beverages. They closed down the salon to all walk-ins to give our group sufficient attention and time to be pampered. Our services were top notch and every single one of us walked out with beautiful nails from a variety of services (shellac, manis, powder dip, pedis, spa treatments, etc.). I love the way my nails look when I get them done here. But for the second time I've come, they aren't open when they say they are. On Sunday, hours say 11:30, but they open at noon. Today, hours say 10 am, but it's 10:21 and they haven't shown up. I even called to confirm the hours. So freaking frustrating. read more

Ben is great. Best set of nails ever. Went to him when someone had mangled my nails; he was careful and my nails always looked natural. Unfortunately the last two times I called and made an appointment with Ben I arrived only to be told that he wasn't there they didn't understand when I asked for Ben. I was happy with the services I received on my walk-in visit to this salon. While Ithe "salon" is very low key, no frills, my nails look beautiful and I was very relaxed. I was skeptical at the timidness of my technician, at first it felt like she was unsure, but once she got to the massage portion, I knew she meant business! The gentleman who did my manicure could have given a little more attention to the massage part because that's my favorite! Never coming back! The lady did a terrible job painting my nails. She didn't paint the sides of my nails. I go back to get them repainted the next day and the guy starts using a different color. He hid the color I wanted because he didn't want to use it on me! I couldn't believe them. He said "no this is the color you gave me" & I said "no this is the color I gave you. Let me start by saying I am from California and just arrived in Texas before I walked into this horrible place of "business". First of all not only did they only have three people working, they kept telling people 10 minutes when really it was an hour wait. I witnessed a customer walk out because she had waited too long. Secondly, one of the workers children was climbing all over me talking my ear off, when all I wanted to do was sit and get my nails done. She was touching me with dirty tools and no one told her to calm down or sit else where. I acted cool, calm and collected because I thought "hey maybe someone would be courteous enough to make her stop", but no. It took me an hour to get my nails done, and after all that my mom was waiting to get a gel change. All in all it took us almost 3 hours to get out of there. I have NEVER been to such an establishment. Lastly, we were extremely over charged. It is our fault, but my mom and I were so over the lack of professionalism we paid the amount and left in a hurry! I was very unhappy. Got there at 6 they told us it would be a while which was fine. A lady there who starts my pedi upset me. She trimmed my right side but forgets the left. I tell her and they apologize take her away and put the manager who doesn't look to see if my toe nails are even he just trims them files them paints them and rushes me out if there.
