I was worried everywhere would be fully booked during Memorial Day weekend, but I called Uptown Massage and spoke with Dianna on Friday and had 3 appointments for 10am on Sunday! She was very helpful on the phone and accommodated all of us, which was very unexpected and greatly appreciated. I figured we would all have to be booked in back to back appointments, but she fit us all in at the same time for 90 minute standard full-body treatments. Upon arriving, we were given water and signed in, and brought back to the rooms quickly. I have had quite a few massages in my time, but I can honestly say that this was one of the best massages I've ever had. The rooms were quiet and ambient, and all 3 masseuses followed our requests to a tee! I haven't felt this rejuvenated in a long time. 90 mins went by way too quick! The bad: We waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to show up and help us, so we were a bit rushed to change before our appointment that says to show up 15 minutes prior. The twin flame rose petal candlelit bath was very underwhelming. From the description, I was under the impression the bath would be filled with rose petals and it would be a dark, candlelit bath. The lights were on, the windows open so people could see us if they were outside, there was one candle and the roses were on top on the bath and on the table. For $700 for a total of 90 mins, I would think it would be a little grander than this. I wrote down that we were celebrating getting married in the questionnaire and we were not offered anything. From other spas I've been to where I received birthday massages and an engagement massage that had a little cheese or truffle plate that said "happy birthday" or "congrats" which was such a nice, small gesture. We were also told that we'd be given 5 minutes to dry off and change to what we needed to for the massage after the bath. The door was knocked about 3 times asking if we were ready after about 2 minutes and I felt more stressed than relaxed. There were also no snacks offered. This has the potential to be a nicer experience with much needed customer service improvements.

I rarely took advantage of any spa facilities whenever I stayed at a hotel (if available), but if there was a pool (indoors or outdoors), I easily gravitated to that! Was I all for this Hilton spa in Sedona!? PURCHASE Although there was a gift/merchandise shop, there wasn't anything I needed - 'nuff said. EXPERIENCE I briefly explored the indoor gym and hopped onto the treadmill for a light 30-minute job before I made my way to the pool, grabbed a patio lounger, donned my earplugs and swim goggles, and took the plunge in my own lane. This water baby was as happy as a clam as I stroked back and forth, flipped at the walls, and enjoyed the 82° water temperatures (apparently they kept it at this level all of the time!) while the air temperatures started at a balmy mid-80s in the morning. An hour of swimming each morning really got my day going and was ready for the world. Thank goodness for the pool! SERVICE Each day I visited, I was warmly greeted at the front desk by a different lovely young woman who asked to see my room key, had me sign in, and then patiently provided me with a rundown of all the spa had to offer, etc. I swore, each woman's voice was like an ASMR session that put me at ease and nearly to sleep! Once that was all done, I was left to my own devices. Towels were readily available for whatever usage. You had to exit the same way you entered, so I was given cheery goodbyes each time I left - awesome! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) I was granted complimentary parking at the hotel based on my Honors status.
