The good: The massage felt very nice and relaxing, the facilities are clean and you can stay as long as you need. The bad: We waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to show up and help us, so we were a bit rushed to change before our appointment that says to show up 15 minutes prior. The twin flame rose petal candlelit bath was very underwhelming. From the description, I was under the impression the bath would be filled with rose petals and it would be a dark, candlelit bath. The lights were on, the windows open so people could see us if they were outside, there was one candle and the roses were on top on the bath and on the table. For $700 for a total of 90 mins, I would think it would be a little grander than this. I wrote down that we were celebrating getting married in the questionnaire and we were not offered anything. From other spas I've been to where I received birthday massages and an engagement massage that had a little cheese or truffle plate that said "happy birthday" or "congrats" which was such a nice, small gesture. We were also told that we'd be given 5 minutes to dry off and change to what we needed to for the massage after the bath. The door was knocked about 3 times asking if we were ready after about 2 minutes and I felt more stressed than relaxed. There were also no snacks offered. I've been to a few spas in my travels and this one is pretty basic. The robes are not very comfy and they don't have much size variety. The amenities are ok but not great especially for the price. The massage itself was also just ok. The room was not dark. read more

The three of us loved our massages on 3/14! However, there are two hot tubs outside and a couple was having sex in one hot tub in front of everyone. We were trying to relax post massage and it just left such a bad vibe for us. We were not able to relax and the 3 of us are VERY chill ladies.... I know this isn't the spa's fault and it's unfortunate adults have to be supervised in a hot tub but come on.... so that needs to be figured out so guests do not have to deal with an experience like that again... We left and went to the pool which was great! Drinks poolside and apps! The guy bartender/server who worked 3/14 during the day absolutely crushed. So attentive to us and all guests around the pool. When we went to check out at the spa- there was an older female who didn't know how to check us out. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to come back to check us out. Also not an ideal situation.... This place needs some work but has potential bc the massage therapists were great. read more

Very mediocre experience, especially considering the high price. The locker room is extremely small with barely any space to change, and there was no spa attendant present to help keep things clean or organized. Unfortunately, there were literal hair balls in both the shower and the steam room, which was pretty off-putting and not what you expect from a premium spa. I visited as part of a six-person bridal party, and in the months leading up to our appointments we tried calling the spa multiple times with no response. Communication was very poor. They also weren't very accommodating when it came to scheduling our appointment times, which made planning the day more stressful than it should have been. Overall, the experience did not match the price point, and I expected a much higher level of cleanliness, service, and customer care. read more

This was not a pleasant experience. I asked the massage therapist if she would be willing to wear a mask because I am a double transplant recipient and try to protect myself from germs as much as possible. Her response "I'm fine with a mask but if I can't breathe, I'll have to step out". Those were the only words she spoke to me (other than hello and goodbye). During the massage, she never asked how I was doing and if there needs to be any adjustments. Anytime she moved the sheets or turned on the sink, it was done not in a soft manner. She was quick with her movements. I felt like it was a transaction and never once felt like she cared about my experience. The spa charges an automatic 22% tip. I didn't even have the option to decide how much to tip her. I did speak with the manager and she gave us 10% off. It wasn't about the money, I really wanted to share my experience so others don't have to spend 200+ dollars and walk out not feeling relaxed. read more

Not impressed at all. So first off I received this as a gift and very expensive yes, the locker rooms are basically the same as they were with the other spa , older super tiny no room for privacy at all . A group of must been 15 girls checked in for their spa time and just overtook the entire locker room and we're standing all around and just did not give me any room to get changed. I had to leave so I could wait for them to stop talking and chitchatting in there and give me space to change But the best part yet of all the very loud FIRE ALARM went off in the middle of my massage so I had to get up and get dressed, and as I am completely dressed and ready to walk out, my masseuse says that it was a false alarm and I can get back on the table, so my remaining 15 minutes were disrupted. The masseuse mentioned that this has happened before so my massage minutes were disrupted and I did not get them back And the rest of the massage was uncomfortable as it was a loud alarm and completely took me out of relaxation mode. After my massage I wanted to go out to the spa area but then again filled with a bunch of chatty girls taking over the whole area, so I had no room to enjoy myself at the spa in quiet . Noapologies by the front desk when I walked out I said thank you and she didn't even look up or say anything , how rude especially after the alarm. I am not going back obviously and I suggest finding less expensive spa where they actual care how you feel during your visit. Sorry definitely not a luxurious spa experience and kind of felt annoyed when I left. Oh, and one more thing, they made me fill out this health and paperwork, but it seemed like the masseuse didn't even read it because he was asking me if he could do those things which I clearly said no to on the form I filled out. I really wish that I could give more stars, but I just can't. In a town like Sedona, the entire industry is tourism and golf so you'd assume these places have great customer service. Well, that's not completely accurate. My friends and I had a really hard time making reservations for for this place, they didn't answer the phone regularly, you can't make online reservations and when you do get in contact with someone, it's not an easy conversation to get through. When we arrived, one of my friend's reservation was cancelled. There was no concern, problem solving or remorse from the front desk staff for the mistake they made. We asked to speak to a manager, but the manager wasn't going to be there that day. The masseuse's overheard and were very apologetic, but there was nothing that they could do to help. One of our friends had two services so she gave up her massage for our friends whose appointment was cancelled. We were all frustrated and tried to dust it off to enjoy our time. The masseuse's talked to another front desk staff who arrived later and that prompted them to ask another masseuse to come in to give my friend a service. I will say, all of our services were amazing, but when again, when you're in a tourist town, and paying tourist prices, the customer service expectation is much higher. I hope others don't get this same service, but unfortunately, I would not recommend. read more

Went with a group of friends. We enjoyed the hot tubs (though the ones associated with the spa were closed for refurbishment.) The sitting room was nice with amenities like water and tea and a very hot steam room and showers. The locker room was kind of small and crowded so it was awkward to get dressed right by the door. There was a mocktail offered in the lobby (I think as an occasional thing) that was a nice touch after our treatments. Some people in our group had great massages. I requested deep tissue months in advance and didn't get a deep tissue massage- it was basically a Swedish massage. When i mentioned that at check out they didn't offer a discount or anything which was unfortunate. I guess I paid mostly for the amenities. read more

I received a massage and facial at the spa. Both of the technicians/therapists were very friendly and professional. The spa seemed very clean as well. The massage was relaxing, but it was not deep tissue. I had signed up for a deep tissue massage and requested more pressure a couple times but never reached deep tissue level of pressure. It also had a lot of long, sweeping motions that I associate with Swedish massage more than deep tissue. I returned home and booked a deep tissue massage at my local spa which allows you to select only specific therapists that they know can deliver a deep tissue massage. Additionally, for both the facial and the massage (while laying face up), the technician/therapist should wear a mask. Even if COVID were not still around, it is not relaxing to have a stranger breathing on you. They both seemed to be doing deep belly breathing as well so the exhale in my face was uncomfortable. I've never experienced that before (even before COVID when they weren't wearing masks), so I can't figure out why I felt their breath SO MUCH on me. read more

During my stay at the hotel I had two spa services. Both days I was greeted warmly and shown to the locker area and given a robe. I felt the robes were a little worn for a newly redone resort spa. I was asked to put on spa slippers and they were only available in small and medium. The first day I had a massage. It was wonderful, the therapist consulted with me and performed the massage exactly as I requested. Very, very relaxing. The second day I went for a facial, the esthetician did a great job. Not only was the treatment relaxing, I actually looked younger after! The spa facilities were basic. There were lockers, steam room and showers. There were no separate dressing rooms, only a common area by the lockers. Initially I used the relaxation area, it looked out on a little garden area with hot tubs and I moved there to enjoy the sun. Very nice. There was water and a selection of tea available along with apples that didn't look too fresh. Based on the the price of the services and the 22% added gratuity I would have expected more luxurious locker rooms, common areas, refreshments and amenities. read more

Took a group of my girl friends here while we were traveling. The spa is very nice. Pretty standard spa amenities - pool, multiple hot tubs, sauna, nice locker room. No complaints from us! We all had different treatments and everyone was highly complimentary of their service providers. The staff at every corner was SO friendly and laid back and welcoming!! We really appreciated that. Not pretentious or snobby ever. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the simple fact that we have done a lot of spa time in our pasts and the treatment rooms were just not what we were expecting. Well.. this was really not worth the time and money at all. They call it a spa and resort, but is not even like a Motel. First off, I booked for a group ahead of time, and when I reach the looks and attitude I get from the host was that I made a mistake, and that he is not sure what the bookings are. This was the most bizzare receptionist ever. The facility is not even 2 star, as the gowns were the worst ever, and so was the relaxing area. The airport lobbies are better than those. The massage therapists were either a hit or a miss for my friends. I was lucky to get Lisa, and she was great, but I couldn't enjoy the $300 treatment, as the entire mood was spoiled at the reception. Thanks to Angela, she tried to make up for everything, and as her name says was a kind soul to atleast listen to us. But it was not the time worth spending in Sedona. Will never recommend to anyone, if you are a tourist or group and are looking for a getaway. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days. One day they did not clean our room. Another day I got their seven pool massage about Chakras and it was just a regular massage with no mention of Chakras-but since the tip is included-they don't seem to care. After leaving the resort I discovered that I had left my partials in the room. I called 3 hours after we left but was only lead to a voicemail for Carol the housekeeping supervisor. I left several urgent messages to no avail. At the end of the day someone answered and said Carol had left for the day and she would call the next day. 13 calls later and I give up. People keep promising a call back from Carol but she has never called back, not even once. The restaurant food is good but customer service sucks. Room not great. Never going back. read more
