My first visit to Luss, today. It was a nice experience. The salon is clean and well kept. I was greeted at the door by a smiling face. I love how the salon is decorated. I love that I sat at a bar height counter. I was able to charge my phone while I was getting my nails done. Lindsay always does a great job. My nails were a mess. I never get anything too fancy. I was offered a drink while my nails were being done to. Overall I found this salon to having a clean and friendly atmosphere. read more

I went to Luss nails for a pedicure on my birthday. I was greeted at the door, the staff was very welcoming and the establishment was very clean and nicely decorated. However, it quickly went down hill after I sat in my chair to get my feet soaked. The two females I sat between started arguing and had a confrontation, while the staff sat there and did not intervene. Therefore, it quickly escalated into UFC fight night. I literally had to run for my life before the punches started throwing. The staff had numerous opportunities to try and de-escalate the situation but did nothing! Must be the norm. I ran out of there with wet undone feet, along with other customers. They need to put up a sign, enter at your own risk! I would not go back there, even if they were doing nails for free. read more

Do NOT go here for your own health safety! I am never one to write reviews, but I am so mind blown about this salon, something needs to be said to warn other perspective customers. I was visiting from out of town and just needed a fill so I scheduled an appointment. I arrived five minutes before my appointment time and still had to wait over 20 minutes, which made no sense because the salon was empty- that should've been my first red flag. From the very beginning, the tech was extremely unfriendly and rude and was clearly trying to get me in and out the door. The service itself was absolutely awful. She burned me with the drill and also filed my nails so badly that she cut into the sides of my fingers with the file. She also destroyed the shape of my nails, and I had to try to fix them when I got home with a file. I didn't think it could get worse but now a week later I have some sort of disgusting fungus growing in the area that she applied the new acrylic. I have NEVER experienced something like this in any other salon and there is never an excuse for a client to end up with any kind of fungal infection other than the salon having poor infection control precautions in place. Went in here for a walk in since it's super close to my work, wrong choice on my part. The artist was in her eating lunch before a coworker of hers waved her to come in, i did not mind waiting at all, but she insisted. She comes in, we sit down, i tell her I just want short black coffin nails with my be glitter accent nail on each hand, she says okay easy and we start. She then proceeds to absolutely demolish my fingers. She's using a huge and sharp drill on my cuticles and cuts open almost every single fingers and I'm bleeding. I get up to wash my hands because hello that is a hazard and she uses more tools on my hands that we're not cleaned previously into my now open cuts. She finishes, i pay $55 and leave, go to my work and immediately start cleaning my cuts and bandaids on every finger so I don't get an infection. I'm looking more closely at them and they are all different shapes and lengths so I have to file and reshape all of them. What in the hell is going on there, seriously. read more

This used to be my favorite nail salon, but the past two visits have not been wonderful. The staff rarely greets anyone anymore. The mani and pedicures never last as long as they used to. In fact after talking to a few other customers I am certain they are thinning down their colors, not cool. There's no point to make an appointment, they never honor it anyway, it really is first come first serve. The facility is very clean, always a plus. And they do do a meticulous job. read more

I was at the outlets so stopped in to get a pedicure. First thing that was annoying is they only accept cash on Sunday's no cards.. Oh don't worry you can use the sketchy ATM in the back room. As for the pedicure. It's was not something I'd recommend. The guy left me with wet cold feet while he fetched a hot towel. It took about 5 mins. Then he wrapped my legs in dirty old looking towels. Then he put lotion on my legs that was FREEZING while they're were already cold and wet. Took well over an hour for a 45 min pedicure. I would say he left me sitting there about 4 times for a total or about 20 mins. With cold legs and wet towels I'll keep adding. read more

I had the absolute worst experience that I've ever had at a nail shop. If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to schedule appointments online for my daughter and I. I was getting 3 services which it lets you book together but then makes separate appointments then it would allow me to schedule my daughter. I called 30 min before they opened and explained what we needed. They scheduled the appointment over the phone. I get here and there's a sign that says cash only on Sunday. That was not expressed when I called so I would have to use the ATM and incur a fee. Ok fine. I explain again that my daughter and I were getting pedicures, she would need a full set of acrylic nails and I have an old set of acrylic that I wanted taken off and an overlay applied to my natural nails after. He kept asking if I wanted a fill, I explained several more times what I wanted. He then begins trying to peel off the old acrylic instead of soaking it which was painful and also ruined the natural nail underneath. I stopped him several times saying just that yet he continued until I finally snatched my hand away. Someone else came over and I again explained what I wanted. When he finally understood he put the acetone on to soak and walked away. No apology or anything at this point he's broken 2 of my natural nails. At that point I decided just to have them soaked off and I would go somewhere else. He barely got the acrylic off, my nails look a mess (see photos) I am disgusted and now driving to a different shop. I wouldn't send my worse enemy here. They're supposed to be "upscale" which their prices reflect but the service and skill certainly does not. read more

I used to come here all the time but ever since the new owner took over, the salon has been chaos and the quality has absolutely tanked. I went a few months ago for the very last time and left with extremely sore fingers and eventually got an infected that I needed an antibiotic for because the guy cut literally every single finger. I walked in, they took me right away, soaked my hands in acetone (didn't wrap them, soaked them), and proceeded to take two customers who apparently had appointments. Which would have been fine, but then they shouldn't have started my nails and they certainly shouldn't have left me soaking my hands in acetone. When I realized what was going on, I removed my hands from the acetone and filed my old gel polish off myself. Finally, the guy came in from his cigarette break and started my manicure, only to take another cigarette break a few minutes later, which continued through the whole manicure and he smelled like smoke the entire time. All said and done, I left with extremely dried out, cracked, and cut up finger tips and cuticles. They didn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience or mutilation...I nearly refused to pay but a snow storm was rolling in and I just wanted to get home. Do not go here. read more

Absolutely horrible! Peter did my diamond dip. I paid and gave a generous tip. I had to go back FOUR times within a six day period, each time 2-3 nails had cracked. I finally had them completely redone at a different salon out of frustration. I asked for a refund in the form of a gift card so I could use it towards pedicure or waxing in the future and they refused. Horribly run business and very limited English/communication skills, Go elsewhere!!!!!! read more

The establishment is clean and all. But the service is not worth the time nor money. I went in for a mani pedi day and 2 minutes in she cut my toe. Clear that I was in pin she continued on as if the toe was not bleeding. I had to tell her multiple times to stop touching the toe and she continued to go back to file and clip as my toe was still bleeding. I had to ask her for peroxide to clean the open cut that she was proceeding to try to put sugar scrub on. Staff should fake their time to prevent this and treat people better overall. Just not a welcoming environment as far as staff go. read more

I went here to get my acrylics done with my friend only because our regular salon was closed. I saw the bad reviews but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, I wish i listened to the reviews. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and I kept having to ask them to fix the length & shape of my nails because they were very uneven & crooked, every nail looked different. They seemed very annoyed when I did and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I asked them to remove my nails after my session because I was still very unhappy with them & they said they couldn't because they were closed. My friend also got her nails done at the same time, and they refused to do the design she showed them because they quote "didn't like the design". Then she asked for a nude/beige color after they refused her design and they put purple on her nails. She then asked for a matte finish and they proceeded to do a gloss finish & halfway through they said "oh didn't you want matte" and she just said never mind. It was an absolutely uncomfortable experience for both us because they seemed so annoyed and inconvenienced by us. My mom and I went to get gel mani pedis. We both got right in and sat down. Very friendly staff. I give 3 stars because the woman who took my mom was fabulous and paid lots of attention to what she needed and did a good job. The man who I had was ok. He did my pedicure well but my manicure not so much. I have very short nails (due to having acrylics a lot). I told him as long as he can clean up my cuticles and put nail polish over them I would be ok. He kept saying how short and weak they were. It was embarrassing for me. I felt so insecure about them. Overall service was 3/5. Would go again for pedicure, not for a manicure. read more

AWFUL AND UNSANITARY...Was a regular client, after a year break my daughter an I went back, the guy who did my nails made a mess, my ten year old could have done better, the guy answered the phone, told someone he would meet them in 20 mins as I looked at my nails and thought REALLY. The guy also cut my finger with the file AND I watched him put it right back in the container ( not to mention, grabbed the container from a co worker whom had just finished someone else's nails. Needless to say I was in tears as I go over to my daughters who were looking great, the owner ATTEMPTED to fix them and there was no hope, I was given a 20 gift card for a free fill, which now it gets better , so I get stuck with the same guy, of course they looked like shit, all I got was polish and I was charged 48 dollars , my full set was cheaper.. I will NEVER go back there and highly recommend anyone thinking of going there, do some research and find some where else, I wish I could add photos... EPIC FAIL read more
