UPDATE After receiving my images I wanted to update my review. There were a few things that really bothered me but the below is what upset me the most. There was a total turn around in how Ana treated me when she was trying to get me to book with her versus when I paid off my balance for my images and it was time to deliver my product. It took her a week to finally get my thumb drive to me after she re-schedule 3 times, first said that her mouse broke (which took her a week to replace) then she said kept forgetting when she had committed to meet up with me. Then when I got fed up and said I would just pick up my thumb drive on my way to work and had asked her earlier that day if it was even ready she lied and said "Yes" but the time the files were modified on the thumb drive was AFTER I told her I would be on my way to pick it up. She was always quick to ask me to write a review for her or help give her feedback on something she was trying out and she eagerly accepted the $120 worth of brand new lingerie that I gave her for free but when it came time to actually deliver the final product, she had no sense of urgency to get it to me and I had to keep reaching out to her and messaging her to try to coordinate a meet up. After spending as much money as I did for her services I shouldn't be afraid that I wasn't going to get the finished product at all since she would quit replying for hours at a time but was still posting on social media. I will not work with Ana again, the next time I do a boudoir photo shoot it will be with a professional. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!!!! Ana Beverson is completely unprofessional and I would go so far as to say she is running a business with the sole purpose to get money and not take any photos. Ana posted in a Facebook group, reaching out for families that would like a discounted photo session. She stated she wanted to grow her photography business and needed more family photos in her portfolio. I then contacted her and set up a date to take family Christmas photos on December 9th. She asked me to put a $50 deposit down to hold the date. It seemed reasonable so I gladly sent her the money. She told me the location of our shoot and time and I planned accordingly, buying outfits and making sure we would look nice for our first family photo together. Well the morning of she cancels on me, stating she had a family emergency. I was very disappointed but I knew she was a mom so I figured it must have had something to do with her daughter. She said she couldn't rebook until January and if I wanted a refund she understood. I needed Xmas photos so I asked for a refund. That night she said the refund was sent and it would take 5-7 days to return to my acct. So I waited the appropriate time. After 7 days I got no deposit. So I messaged again and she did not respond. I then tried emailing her, no response. I then reached out through social media. Finally I got a response stating she didn't know why it didn't go through and she would try again. I asked for a confirmation of the returned funds or a screen shot and she went silent again. After 5-6 days she finally replied asking if I had Venmo and I replied back yes. It took another 2 more days, for a total of 3 weeks before I finally got my returned money. Since then I have reached out to other Mamas of the original FB group she posted in, and she has been running this scam on almost everyone that replied to her post. And the couple she took photos of l, were very poor quality. So any review on here or photo posted on her social media accounts might not even be real. She has blocked me from commenting on her FB professional page and has deleted my comments on her Instagram page. I figured I would give yelp a try, people need to know who they are dealing with. I never thought I would be a person to pose in lingerie and ever be comfortable. I was extremely hesitant on wanting to go forward with this, but I am so glad that I did. The experience was fulfilling. From beginning to end I felt extremely comfortable. I walked through her door, I felt no pressure, no discomfort nothing negative at all! The shoot started and we tried different poses and outfits. She posed me accordingly which was awesome because I would have no idea what to do otherwise. She made me feel comfortable in my own skin. This photographer is shady as hell. She offered a group of women on Facebook mini sessions for $50. I took her up on it and actually booked two sessions, one for my newborn and one for a family session. I wanted to give her a shot because she was trying to build her portfolio. Instead she canceled on me. We rescheduled, and then she canceled again. She gave me the option to reschedule, however that was going to be a month later, and these photos were supposed to be for Christmas. So I told her I wanted a refund. Not only did I not get the refund, but when I contacted her back about it she said she couldn't give it to me right away. I'm still waiting on it. Then I find out that the same exact thing happened to at least five other women in the same group. Seems pretty suspicious! She swears she's not scamming us, but what would you call booking repeated appointments, cancelling, and then not refunding the money??? read more

My boyfriend and I decided to do a couples shoot with Ana and it was the best decision! We both never have done something like this before and the whole atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. Not once did we feel uncomfortable or awkward. Ana was very patient with us and was a great director. She has an eye for angles and positions and really knows how to flaunt her clients best assets. Please stay far away from this lady! I had a session which took forever to book with her. I purchased a Black Friday special which stated: hair, makeup, photo shoot, client closet, mimosas, snacks, 8x8 album with 10 images, and a phone app with the same 10 images for $750 that was paid for at the booking time. From the moment I booked my session, I had to ask countless times for an address. After several attempts I was finally given one that was an hour and a half away, over 45 minutes further than her Oceanside business location. I asked for a closer location in which it took a while to get and then I still was not given the address until the night before the shoot and I had to change my session date to accommodate the studio location.Day before the shoot I sent Ana a picture of my outfits that I was going to be bringing. She approved them and seemed excited to work with some of my outfit choices (especially the pearls). Day of I entered the room and was greeted by the woman doing my hair and makeup. She was very friendly and started to chat with me. Then Ana hands me a contract and says that I need to sign and initial all the pages. Since this was cutting into my time I skimmed through it quickly paying attention to things that were extremely important to me, my face not being present on her business pages or social media. I sat down to get my makeup done and gave the makeup artist control of what she felt would look good on me. It turned out wonderful and throughout the whole time she was conversing with me and making me feel comfortable while Ana did not say hardly anything to me except to "see how it was going" then she went back to the other side of the wall out of sight. I showed up to the studio with my hair curly from the night before and since hair was included in the package I assumed they would have touched it up or done something with it since there were flyaways and some flat spots. The hair portion was not even offered to me. Once my make up was finished I was instructed to change to my first outfit. The posing began and I followed every instruction she gave me. During some posing I asked for clarification and what to do with my hands, etc. As she continued through the shoot and through the outfits, I felt that she was posing me in a similar manner for every picture but I thought she is the photographer so she knows best. There was one pose I asked for specifically and it still was not done but I let it go because I thought that maybe I was not explaining the pose accurately. During the session I reminded her that she could not use photos of my face and she stated she knew that which is why she was not taking many photos of my face (I do not recall her exact words but this was the overall gist of her comment). That made me feel very uncomfortable as now I felt she was taking photos to boost her business instead of taking photos that made me feel good, but again I let my feelings go. Once the shoot was up she simply said okay the time is up you can change. And that was that. I had to ask her what happens next. I thanked her and left.She sent me a message informing me the photos would be sent.The next day she messaged me again asking if I saw the photos, so I sat down and looked at them. When I saw the photos I was immediately disappointed. The photos were sent in an online gallery that was private and locked completely down. You could not download or right click..nothing. The pictures were so dark that you could not see who I was; you could not see my body. And as I expected most of the photos were extremely similar poses. There were not many that you could even tell it was me because majority of the pictures she had my head down. When I looked at the pictures again a second time I just saw even more things that made me so upset from wardrobe issues to hair placement and how the lighting made the make up look terrible ( I looked worn out and just droopy). Honestly looking at the pictures made me cry and get very upset to think that I truly look the way she photographed me. I immediately contacted Ana and explained to her that I did not like the photos at all. I broke down all the reasons why and I explained myself and said I appreciated her time and I understand that not everyone is going to mesh styles well. I informed her that I wanted a refund for the products that I did not wish to have made but I was more than happy to pay for her time as outlined in the Black Friday special. She offered to do a reshoot but would not provide a refund. I explained to her that I have a hectic schedule, kids, a husband that is deployed so a reshoot would not work. She refused & told me that after the stress of the holidays maybe I will appreciate them. She has now blocked me from every method of contact, the credit card company has gotten involved as well as a lawyer has sent her an official notice. No one can get ahold of her and now this is turning into a fraud claim and the BBB is getting involved. read more

DO NOT use this woman for your boudoir photo shoot! She is COMPLETELY unprofessional & a theif! She rescheduled my photo shoot REPEATEDLY & always had 1 excuse or another! Her lingerie is CHEAP & she does NOT have you use sanitary liners like she mentions in her FB page. After being rescheduled over 3x we FINALLY attempted an outdoor shoot just to get it over with since I had paid her MONTHS ago & still had no photos! Met at location she told me to & when we arrived tide was so high, I got COMPLETELY wet, hair & makeup ruined! She wasn't even professional enough to scope out location BEFORE photo shoot to make sure it was a good usable location! Had to cancel shoot & next thing I know she blocked me on FB, blocked my calls because I asked for a refund since I was tired of dealing with her unprofessionalism! I'll repeat... she is LOW CLASS UNPROFESSIONAL! Not a real photographer! Camera used is cheap, cancels/reschedules sessions constantly!! read more
