He took my children out of my home while I was at work without my permission. He took Joselyn Wilson with him. My kids were at her home without my permission. My kids both later told me they didn't wanna go with her without my permission, but she cohersed them. I have tried to reach out to talk to the lead pastor but not able to get an appointment. The leaders in the youth side OVERSTEP AND DO NOT RESPECT BOUNDARIES. They brainwashed my kids. Eucharia is a leader there also who said God told her that my kids were in danger. They take their job with them everywhere. They go thinking that they are CPS. I had to call the police to get my kids back. And then they accuse me of being a negligent parent and the cases were dropped. I have gone to Church for 45 years grew up in a Christian home with parents that have been married for 57 years and I have never had a bad experience in a church until now. I am so scared that the church is going to take my kids again from me. Why are adults texting and messaging my kids and not talking to me first?!! it is so weird and bizarre and now we are scared to go back to church. This is not ok.

My husband has been a Sunday school teacher for as long as we've been attending. The same Bible story is taught 6 different ways and the kids go through the rotation. Often I hear that the kids are the ones that bring the parents to church after attending Sunday school here. This Easter the church had the egg catapult as a unique way for kids to collect Easter eggs. Hot dogs and roasted corn were served for free. Recently the church had Kite day/Sunday funday where there were food and activities for kids including alpacas. There are Lifegroups that meet at people's home throughout the city to grow, have community and have Bible Study together. Ministries including prison, foster and adopt and human and sex trafficking. Local and global missions as well! Come check it out!

The buildings are beautiful three-story brick buildings, with striking finishing details, and the ceiling of the atrium in the main building has a beautiful mural depicting the heavens opening for Jesus' return. They are also building a premiere sports program, by bringing in proven athletic coaches to work with cutting-edge facilities. All in all, a top-notch campus from a top-notch ministry!

Hear No Evil*See No Evil*Speak No Evil Hood said he planned on being there a long time, but he's apparently gone already, as so many before him. Could've seen that coming from a million miles away. By the way, Cornerstone had my first review taken down, as I now suspect many other critical reviews have been. Cornerstone has had some amazing people, Mr Harrison, Mr Puente, Mrs Puente (God rest her soul), Mr Hudspeth, Mr Sessions, Coach Navarrete, Mrs Ruvalcaba, and others, but the administration changes constantly! The big secret is, untouchable families, who do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want; many are athletes and staff from the church and school. Shouldn't be that way, but we experienced it over & over. So, we left. Many others have left for the same reasons. A friend living near the school took their kids out because the administration wouldn't deal with the untouchables harassing their child who's on the spectrum. They told us 3 other families -on-their-street- left also. Cornerstone should be training up a righteous generation, but instead they're just coddling untouchables. Sad... Change must come from the top. We can only hope & pray.

LOVE. THIS. CAMP. We have been pretty bummed in the past that we couldn't find an affordable…read morebasketball skills camp for our young son that's on the north side of San Antonio. We didn't want a league, but rather something where he could build confidence and skills with kids his age. We've done Shooting for Success before, but it was unorganized, communication was terrible, the camp coordinator never made an appearance, AC went out at the gym, and my son didn't seem to grow at all that week. While watching the 12 PM news, we saw the Antonio Daniels Basketball Camp with The Daniels Family Foundation. We immediately registered. This camp is 5 full-days and held at the Cornerstone Christian School's campus off of NW Military & 1604. Perfect for those living on the north side of town and exactly what we were looking for! Antonio Daniels dedicates himself to participating in the camp and connecting with the children THE ENTIRE TIME, which is mind-blowing!! This camp is on-point, y'all! Communication with parents and overall organization of the camp was phenomenal. Their website and Facebook page are current and packed with info. Expectations for parents, campers, and staff was clear from the point of registration and throughout the camp. Camp is M-F from 9AM - 3PM. Lunch is included in the camp's $185 fee, and it's decent food from area restaurant sponsors. Our son also got a camp t-shirt, brought his basketball in to be autographed, received a picture of Antonio to go along with it, and got a photo taken with Antonio too ($15 extra). Campers were grades 1-12, and broken into age/skill appropriate groups. The Cornerstone campus looks like a college campus, so there's plenty of parking and gyms to spread out in. We never saw kids sitting down and doing nothing or playing electronics, like what had happened a lot in another camp we attended (mentioned above). Concession was open for purchasing snacks & drinks during the camp, and was operated by AD's parents-in-law. Facilities are very nice. Antonio did a great job of giving the kids a "word of the day" and motivational message each day, as well as interacting with the kids. We loved watching the last day's All Star games too. AD has done a great job of surrounding himself with very supportive & competent staff members, as well as including his family in this endeavor. The coaching staff is wonderful and my son said he was going to miss Coach Sam most of all! Coach Sam is skilled in basketball, was great with the kids and a great communicator with the parents. The entire coaching staff is very skilled and great with the kids. Our son was sad for the camp to end, but we can't wait until next summer (19th year), when they'll hopefully offer several weeks of camp. Keep up the great work!
