My Dobermans have been therapy dogs, scent dogs, tricks dogs and competition obedience dogs.. not all of them have been the same. I then pursued another Doberman with another rescue to see if it would work because they didn't know anything about the dog. In the middle of this, they contacted me to say they may have made a mistake .. I said I was involved in this now and I have to follow through. Unfortunately the dog did not work out .. I messaged them last Thursday and was told that they were open for adoption and that I was approved as the email stated.. messaged them on Friday to tell them I was coming on Monday to see the dog and then was told someone else just got approved and was coming to see the dog. I was told they held the dog for me and I said that's good because you were the reason I didn't come to begin with. You get no response when you ask whoever runs the place to call you.. I would not recommend this service to anyone!

This wasn't just to heal our broken hearts, but her buddy and little fur brother Freddy's as well. After months of searching and being rejected by numerous rescues did not having a fenced in yard; I believe a true Christmas Miracle happened. After much searching - I stumbled across my sweet girl Ellie aka EllieMae in the WCHS website. I knew immediately that she was the one. I was so excited that I showed up 2 hours before they opened to make sure I would get a chance to meet her. It was love at first site! The next day...we came back and got her. The Rudy at Gold & Silver's Pets was a pleasure to work with. I have nothing but good things to say about his responsiveness and the quality of the min Golden Doodle he sold me. At my request, he did a live stream with my dog's parents and with my puppy (Beau). He told me before I purchased Beau that the puppies are kept with their litter makes in a large area covered with cedar chips and sure enough, Beau smelt like cedar when we picked him up. We picked Beau up in Durham, NC. Rudy lives in OH but makes frequent trips to NC to sell his puppies. It made me nervous to buy a dog from a breeder that lives so far away but it all worked out great. I highly recommend Rudy and his business. He sold me a beautiful boy! Some days are more stressful than others, so they may not have the time to coddle you through every step. Do your research before looking for or picking out a fur baby for your home or family. This is a lifelong decision. They need the communities' help, so donate, volunteer, and/or foster. Get your pets fixed. Don't let them run.
