I was very impressed with the male Doberman who's litter that was due and wanted to purchase a female puppy from that litter. I was asked to put down a deposit down which I did and we agreed on a set price. I then get a call from Bill telling me that he was thinking about keeping the female that I had already put the deposit down. He told me that if I gave an additional $1,500 on top of the already agreed price then he would sell her to me. I originally told him no and would like my deposit back. He then told me that I would lose the deposit, which is basically criminal because he changed the terms that were agreed on and felt he was basically stealing my deposit. I went ahead with the purchase and paid an additional $1500 on top of the original price that we agreed on. At this point I felt I had no choice, he was basically shaking me down for an additional $1500. What makes the whole matter even worse is that the female puppy that I purchased was from an entirely different litter and not from the Male stud that was behind my whole motivation for my purchase. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a breeder. This is 100% a true testimony of what happened. What he did was so disgusting, dishonest, down right criminal and he should be ashamed of himself. I do not take any satisfaction in writing this review, but I feel that I have a duty to let people know of my experience with Bill and Whited K-9 services. Anyone that is thinking of dealing with Bill & Whited K-9 services DO NOT, walk away and find a more reputable and responsible breeder. This post is the absolute truth of what happened and like I stated before I take no satisfaction in writing this review but I feel I have a duty to warn people NOT TO USE THIS BREEDER! Is there a law in Ohio you have to have an Ohioan telephone number if you are a resident in that state? Do you need an Ohioan telephone number to adopt a dog?According to them other rescues and shelters would have thrown your application out. They tell you that your out of state vet does not have records of your animals. When you check yourself the vet office pulls the records up in less than 5 minutes. You are also being told, although your indoor cats are spayed, neutered, microchipped, eat high quality grain free foods, shots up to date, have jumbo cat trees in the living room and an array of toys, have fresh food and water provided every day and most of all being loved and saved from a pet shelter, that you only provide the bare minimum. If you start to question their line of questioning they tell you they put your name on the regional Do Not Adopt list and let all shelters and rescues know what a horrible person you are.You apparently are abusing and neglecting animals( no records to be found anywhere), if you do not agree with the way they handle your application. Their rating should be minus 5 stars.
