For those with disabilities, this store has a long ramp up to the front doors and an elevator in the back of the store. Next up, unlike most thrift stores I've been in, the store smells clean. The merchandise is organized but, as with many thrifts, it takes a bit to figure out the layout. If you are mourning the loss of Goodwill merchandise to the Goodwill ecommerce store, swing by this place and check it out. The selection is insanely good. The persons working the registers were fast and friendly. The prices were a mixed bag. I picked up 3 books each for $2-3 but I suspect that they were priced so low because they came in a long time ago. There were other books I saw prices around 4-5. And still others were $30... but I'm not into those genres and couldn't say what their value was. Everything I looked at was reasonably price but I'm also usually looking for art supplies, books, and music instruments.

Be it thrift or consignment the shelves are organized the aisles, are wide the staff is busy however arranging however they were willing to stop and assist when needed. The pricing was fair on several items I purchased. I would like to thank Devetta, who was my check out person. The assistant manager Denise and the store manager Amanda for their thoughtfulness, pleasant and professional demeanors. Given the number of stores I travel to in Georgia ( I cover wide areas of many counties). This store stands out as one of the most pleasurable shopping experiences I have had. Looking forward to visiting this location again. I have been to other Value Villages(not sure of the new name). But this one shines among them all.

Everyone that works there is helpful. The prices are usually indicated by tags on the bins where you find things. If the tag is the correct color (yellow) you can get an entire bag (provided at front door) stuffed full of things to get you going in your art groove. One word of warning, they only take credit cards or electronic payment, not cash.

On their Facebook page, too, they promote events, it's cheap to rent their classroom/workspace area, and like my group did, to rent and gather a group of friends to hang out and work on stuff you need to get done! I was in the area for an appointment and arrived early. So I decided to pop into here to check it…read moreout. I heard this was the highest volume store for the company in the metro Atlanta area. The place was smaller than the ones I've seen near where I live but it's exceptionally clean. There was no weird stains on the floor and no weird stale odor. I came in looking for a typewriter. (I've got my heart set on an IBM Selectric II or III. But they didn't anything of that sort.) But they had a nice book section and everything was organized nice and neat....I ended up having a nice conversation with a blonde headed woman who was sweeping the floor. She mentioned that once in awhile they do get in a typewriter. So I will have to come back again next time I'm in the area. She also said the place just got remodeled about 3 years ago so everything is still fresh and new for the most part. I saw that there were 4 cashiers helping people check out and there were at least 3 other people on the sales floors....kudos to them for staying on top of everything. Base on this experience I say the next time I'm in the area again I definitely will pop in again to see if they got what I'm looking for...

The vibe makes you want to buy things for your own living space. I'm trying to decide on a sofa right now. And the owner is so excellent and helpful. My Vintage Home hosts pop-up shops and live music. It is in Tucker, Georgia, a great place to run away to hang out, walk, buy ice cream and cookies, and shop for those things you will hold close to your heart. My Vintage Home is one of those places. My Vintage Home is a perfect addition to that Tucker area!
