    Friendly and super helpful staff. They have a very creative and elegant selection and are great at guiding you with choosing your pieces. Overall, they are outstanding and there is no doubt I will be back for their services.

    Super inconsiderate and unprofessional!!…read more I first met Jessica January of 2019 at the Bridal Expo at the Rio hotel. I found her IG page a while back and didn't realize it was the same place until we spoke. She was very nice and listened to my ideas on my dream wedding. Everything she had to offer was exactly what I was looking for. She took pictures of my mom and I at her booth and said she'd be in contact. We were talking through text, Instagram, over the phone, and email. I sent her pictures of what I wanted and we scheduled a day to meet up at the venue to further go over everything. We spent about two hours there with my mom, grandma, and father in law. All which have different schedules, but took off to be there for the meeting. Jessica also brought her mom and they asked a bunch of questions, wrote down important notes, and I was told by Jessica that I would have an email sent to me with the invoice on everything I was interested in renting. She mentioned multiple times how excited she was to work with me and how perfect my wedding was going to be and she would get me that invoice by the end of the week. Weeks went by and I still haven't received anything in regards to moving forward so I contacted her. Then months went by and still nothing! Every time I reached out to ask for the invoice I was met with more excuses. (See photos) I was told events had "popped up" which makes no sense considering you have to book in advance to reserve your spot. So how can something just pop up that was so time consuming that you couldn't type up an invoice. I never received an invoice and I never heard back from her after I stopped reaching out. I was understanding in the beginning because I work graveyard and would have to reschedule some over the phone conversations. At the end of the day I was communicating and was dedicated. She waited so long that I ended up having to get/make my decorations myself. My wedding came and went and I heard nothing. If my wedding wasn't something you wanted to be apart of then just say so, but to point blank ghost a bride that was super excited to work with you is unacceptable and unprofessional. I was so shocked because I didn't see too many bad reviews. I'm not one to write up reviews at all, especially bad ones. At the end of the day if I can help another bride avoid the confusion and heartache that I felt then it was worth it. I'm still not sure why it happened, but to me it felt like I was judged right out the gate and was viewed at as unimportant. As if my money and my wedding wasn't good enough for her to waste her time on.

    Durable, custom-made, quality furniture (yay!)...with a hefty price tag (boo!). Not even gonna try…read more& lie to you about that. You'll hafta to bust open some piggy banks to be able to afford anything here. Somers has made furniture for many casinos, restaurants, & bars around town. So you know that if their furniture can withstand the abuse from these high traffic areas, they'll be fine in your private residence. Unlike other furniture stores around town, this company works by appointment only. Also, unlike other furniture stores in town, there are no grand showrooms with tons of inventory. The "showroom" area itself is actually quite small. The rest of the building is dedicated to workspace - where your furniture will be built. Framing, sewing, finishing...it was neat to see the whole process. I'm jumping too far ahead though. Step 1) Make an appointment Step 2) Meet your designers During your design meeting, you'll discuss: 1) what kind of furniture you are looking for - indoor, outdoor, or both 2) who'll be using the furniture - any kids, pets, etc.? 3) styles 4) colors 5) size/shape 6) space planning I'm probably missing some elements. But, you get the idea. The designers will take all the information and come up with ideas that will suit you and your family. They'll email those ideas to you and make follow-up appointments to tweak the design to your wants and needs. Once you are happy with the design and have made your fabric choices, it's go time for the builders (Step3). Several factors come into play regarding how long it will take to build your piece or pieces. Plan on being furnitureless or on using your old furniture for several weeks though. The delivery team will unload & set-up your space. The outdoor furniture pieces are extremely heavy - made to withstand high winds. Make sure you know exactly where you want them because it'll be hard to move them by yourself after the delivery team leaves. So if your wallet can handle it and you want custom-made furniture, give Somers a call! P.s. My wallet couldn't handle it :( Hence only 4 stars. I tagged along with people who have much deeper pockets. Their furniture turned out beautifully!

It was the same chair I ordered previously and seemed straight forward. * You clearly admitted it was your mistake in an email. * Now you propose the resolution that I pay for the ENTIRE order at your cost to have it done correctly, including shipping, receiving, and delivery. * Attempted several phone calls and you never called back Unfortunately I trusted that you knew your business and I NEVER expected this type of treatment and dishonest business practice from you.

Did I mention my event was in 4 days . Jason calmed me down and got my red carpets and accessories in a day. Use them for big or small events, they got you. If you're from out of town and have an event in Vegas, these are you're guys. You won't be disappointed.

My event started at 11AM and he wanted to have everything set up by 10:30 AM... that would not of worked. I needed all the tables and everything to be set up by 9:30 AM because that was when my vendors were arriving to set up tables. And I required some of my own set up before the vendors arrived. We received a 10% discount for a October special but the price was already higher then the other quotes that I was receiving. But since this was a big event for me, it seemed like using Current Events would be the best option since they appeared to be larger and have a lot of reviews on Yelp. I could of saved money if I went with another vendor, and I am pretty sure they would not of charged me a fee for arriving in the morning. The equipment that was delivered was in good condition. No complaints there. The girl that we were dealing with named Nicole seemed hot and cold. For myself, she seemed very accommodating. But a few of my coworkers complained to me that she was rude to them. She was never rude to me directly, but I could sense she was frustrated at times. I won't be dealing with them again. I really thought by going with a more expensive company I would be receiving excellent service... that additional $175 really got me. They could of had a new regular customer but not anymore.
