Just a tale of woe about the new owners at L'Amour Nails on Hypoluxo.... I had a 4:00 appt for a mani/pedi...made over a month ago because my technician books up an we are going away tomorrow morning. When I got there, I found out someone had apparently cancelled my appointment. Emily, my technician, felt awful that 5his happened and @said she would stay late if I could come at 6:30. I had no choice. Just (5:45) got a call from the new owner...no real apology, just excuses that she is the new owner and she wasn't there when I made the appointment. She then told me I needed to come in at 7:00. I explained my entire afternoon had been scheduled based on the 4:00 appointment, but I clearly have no options at this point. She offered no accommodation for my inconvenience, no apology for her staff screwing up... It's not like they are the only nail salon available to any of us. UPDATE- went over there for my 7:00 appt. The new owner then told me 7:15. When I politely questioned her, she started yelling at me that she was stressed , that it was impolite that I questioned her workers at the desk about the appointment that THEY cancelled without my knowledge and she has mental health issues and can't deal with this right now. I explained calmly that I was stressed as well, she then grabbed her service dog, again said she has mental health issues and threw me out of the salon. I hadn't raised my voice, I hadn't been disrespectful. All I wanted to get a mani/pedi before my vacation. In hindsight, I should have gone elsewhere at 4:00, but out of respect for Emily, I waited. Vivianna was so sweet, kind, and incredibly detail-oriented! I got a French dip, and out of all the nail salons in the area, this one truly stands out for both quality and affordability. They greet you with water at the door and happily take walk-ins. What really impressed me is that there's always a nail tech on standby, so even walk-ins have minimal wait times. And my favorite part, which is so rare in Palm Beach, is that all of their pricing is clearly listed on a pamphlet. No hidden fees or haggling, just transparent and consistent prices. Went and got my nails done on 4/6/26, Asked for dip while I had acrylic on. First the girl was sitting on the phone the whole time. When she soaked off my nails she said 10 minutes, she left it on for at least 30 minutes. I understand those things take time. But there was no reason to leave it on for 30 minutes while you said 10, and my fingers started burning!!! Than she continued with the service and she had to put 3 tips on my natural nails. While she was doing the service she continuously cut me while doing my cuticles, she could clearly see she was hurting me and making me bleed and all she did was laugh. As I left unhappy with my service I go to work 2 hours later, and while typing on a tablet- the tip of one of the fake nails fall off. Meet the owner she is so very nice and aware of the moving pieces of the day and where to transition each girl to her station for the cliental. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about ! My sister and I were visiting from Santa Monica and Boston and wanted to get pedicures. They were so accommodating, lovely as soon as we walked in and timely. Both the woman who helped us were amazing! So nice and did a fantastic job. The most relaxing and best pedi ever truly. April was magnificent- friendly and did the most amazing gel pedicure. Would be a regular if we lived down here ! Super reasonable prices too! read more

Called in last minute on Sunday to book a pedicure for my daughter and myself! Spoke with Elizabeth who was so sweet and accommodating! She had us scheduled for a same day service with Corina & Lisa! I have tried a few salons in the area and was so weary to try another. I am SO Happy we did!! Everyone was so nice & super professional. The salon is very well kept & clean with beautiful decor. My pedicure with Corina was one of the best I've had!! Lisa not only did a great job on my daughter's nails but she made her feel right at home. Not only did their nail pricing increase $10 in 2024 (I paid $60 for liquid UV gel overlay) they wanted to charge an extra $10 to cut and clean my cuticles. Ridiculous!! Beware old customers- there is a new owner at this salon and they raised their prices! I had a horrible manicure today. The manicurist didn't change the dirty towel or at least put a clean paper towel on top. She didn't use moisturizer before the cursory hand massage and used the cuticle oil all over my hands. Was ready to start polishing immediately after when my nails were coated in oil and when I confronted her she brushed acetone on my nails. My favorite spa so far to get pedicures. They offer luxury services at a fraction of the cost. Always clean, professional, and busy! I love that they pre portion the products and are not double dipping like I often see in nail salons. Definitely a great place for pedicures! read more

I arrived at 11 for a full set mani and pedi and I'm just leaving at 3. not only that they nickel and dime you for every little thing. my $35 manicure went to $88 real quick and they didn't even inform me of alllll the extra charges. needless to say it is pretty the staff is nice but I will never be coming here again. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service from the front desk and the managers (Elisabeth) piss poor time management . From my experience, and what other relative customers told me, The boss is constantly messing up the schedules which causes the customers to have over extended wait times then originally planned... Outrageous! Not only does she not care about her clients time, it falls on the nail techs! I really wanted this to be my go to nail salon. I don't get my nails done often, but when I do - I want it to be a nice experience. The place is super pretty. The owner is so sweet which makes it hard to even post this. I made 11:15am appts for myself and a friend (I was taking my friend for her bday). Long story short, after 30 minutes after our appt time were supposed to begin we decided to leave as they claimed a client wanted a re-polish and refused no as a response. But that didn't explain why both of us where still waiting. The woman at the front desk looked super stressed. She apologized but you can tell she understood why we were leaving (and I didn't make a big deal of it whatsoever). I'll wait at dr's offices as I have no choice, but there are plenty of other nail salons that will honor an appt time. Even though they've done a nice job in the past - I just can't go back. It would have been nice if I received a text or a call apologizing (as I was one of their 1st customers when they opened). The reason I was extra disappointed is b/c my friend took off work (she's a mom to a 2 yo) and she was dying for a mani/pedi. I thought this was going to be a nice bday gift. Shame. read more
