First off let me say I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. Yes, I'm one of those. I recently had a very bad nail job which causes my nails to lift within a week and I called around for a last minute fix. While most places were pretty booked, Encore said they can take me in right away. The shop sits within a very nice plaza and inside the shop was pleasantly glitz and glamour all while the wallpapers adorned the walls. Andy, the nail tech has been doing this for over 8 years. Andy didn't talk much, he was all business. He was all about doing a great job and a great job he did, because my nails were splendid! He took his time and I did not once felt rush. Not like most places I've been too. Shop was super clean and fabulous. I would definitely be coming back again. I think I just found my new pampering spot. read more

I think I finally found my go-to nail salon in my area. After trying a few places and leaving disappointed, I finally had an A1 experience. I came in an hour before closing and they were able to take me without any problems. We ended up staying past closing, but never did i feel rushed or that the service was impacted. Paula did my pedicure. She was very friendly, professional and did a great job on my toes. Will did my nexgen and I am beyond happy and impressed! The staff here was really nice. I like that. However my nails are all wrong. They were already shaped coffin shape the way that I liked (from California since I am only here visiting) and yet he reshaped them all, for what purpose? I dunno. Second the paint job goes past my cuticles. It looks like I put on press on nails and the side of one of my fingers literally has paint on the side of my skin. I asked for a matte coat (and I can't blame them, the bottle did say matte). But my nails still look shiny but a tad bit dull. Sub par customer service overall. They switch the people who are servicing you mid appointment without explanation, and then the second person handling you ends up moving too fast doing a sloppy job. When you point out the parts of the paint job they need to fix due to lack of polish, including the nicks they caused by brushing over your wet nails with their own hand, they get an attitude and tell you to stop moving as if it's you fault. Unreal how sloppy they handle your wet nails while doing the job. Would not recommend if you are very particular about your manicures. read more

If he is the best I shudder to think of what is the worst. He talked on the phone to his friends while he scraped my callouses. It was hair raising. He squeezed my ankles when I told him he did stop. I disdain writing negative reviews, but since I rely on others to warn me about businesses with their experiences, I feel the obligation to do the same. I made an appointment for a dip manicure. They told me when I got there that the wait would be 10 minutes. When it went over that, I told myself if it hit 25 minutes I was walking out. At 24 minutes they came and got me. The man performing my manicure appeared very rushed. I apologize for not being able to report his name, he never introduced himself. His filing of my nails was incredibly painful as he didn't try to avoid my cuticles with the file. By the time I left both sides of all of my nails were red and swollen. Days later they were still painful. As far as the artistry, there was very little. My nails were all different lengths and the dip was applied in different widths on each nail. He did very little checking of his work while he was going. Honestly, normally I speak up, but I had a work conference the next day so I was stuck. I just wanted out of there because in addition to all of this subpar work, the salon was incredibly messy and dirty, including his hands which felt sticky and dirty. Lastly, I asked for a dip manicure. That is not what I got. Whatever he used applied like acrylic. I stopped using acrylic because it hurts my nails and I don't like the UV lamps. Second time going, left pretty upset. First time I went I got a full set of nails, a FULL EXPENSIVE pedicure and both gel on my toes and nails.on top of that I also got my eyebrows waxed. The entire experience was lovely they offered me water service was so nice had amazing nails OH BTW I even put ten diamond designs on my nails, BEAUTIFUL. And at the end my total was about 100$ Fast forward to today... I bring my daughter we both got BASIC PEDI AND MANI GEL TOP. Didn't offer me or my daughter water or anything, while everyone else was offered something. Our nails came out fine but when I told them I had a 20% discount somehow our total was about $138 after discount $109. I feel like WHY OFFER THE DISCOUNT AND HAVE THE NERVE TO HACK UP MY PRICE.... The facilities are impeccably maintained and the decor is everything you would dream of for a classy and relaxing spa day. I was offered a cold bottle of water upon arrival and was shocked by the immense variety of colors they have to select from. Kyle provided one of the best NexGen Manicures I have had in quite some time. He took his time, shaped my nails perfectly, and the color looks stunning! I've been going there for 9 months loved my mani/peds BUT the attitude of a guy named Andy is so obnoxious that no matter how well he does my nails I refuse to be belittled and spoken down to as he recently did. Love this place!!! Beautiful work by Andy, he's quick and his skill is top tier! His technique is not used by many salons but it really should be, the quality comes out a lot nicer. All of the staff is very kind and they do their best to satisfy their customers, it gets pretty busy. I do think some of the technicians should be re-trained by Andy, there have been a few times I go to get an acrylic set by someone else and they come out poorly shaped and bumpy. read more

I've gone to this salon for over a year now & have always had a pleasant experience until today. I called ahead to have a dip manicure done which I've had multiple times before. Upon arriving I was greeted & everything was fine until he was removing my previous dip manicure & didn't soak off but POPPED them off with a nail tip. Then proceeded to do my nails with ACRYLIC powder and not dip powder. While I tried to look past it because my nails were turning out nice, I couldn't get past any of it when he charged me $57 for a dip manicure when I usually pay $42. When I asked why he said because he charged me for a "soak off" but never not ONCE during my service were my fingers soaked. He was sure to DRILL my cuticles though instead of cutting them. Also he charged me for an acrylic set when I didn't get acrylics nor did I ever request acrylic!! On the menu it says "starting at $42" for a dip manicure and that was his excuse. Last time I went I got the same thing with a more detailed shape & tips added for $15 less. Such a scam!!!! I'm so disappointed after loving this salon to go through an experience like this. I've attached pictures of my nails not to complain about the way they look (they are beautiful) but to show how RIDICULOUS this price is for the nails I have done. read more

If you want to be treated to the finest nail and spa treatments....this is the place to go. Everyone is so friendly (like family). You are treated with respect & care. You would think a regular pedicure wouldn't be so difficult to do. But no consistent shape, no consistent length. Beautiful nail shop. Great customer service and I was a walk-in. Over 300 SNS colors to choose from. I'm happy with my sns manicure and pedicure. Will be going back! I posted this after my first manicure at this salon... my nails were chipped within a week. Went back after having nothing on my nails for about 2 weeks due to the hurricane, etc. I thought maybe it was just the tech and I went back and got a new set. 3 chipped nails within 3 days, went over and had them fixed, they generously (sarcasm) fixed them "at no charge" ( wasn't gonna offer to pay but thanks)! It's now 3 days later and I have 2 more chipped nails and one that's cracked. I'm done. I don't want them fixed I'll just go elsewhere for a new set of SNS/nexgen. Yesterday I went to get my nails and eyebrows threaded. No shame at all to my nails, they look absolutely amazing! However, the eyebrow "threading" was so not amazing. After my nails were done I had to wait a little for my brows which is fine. We go back to the room and the technician asks me threading right? I confirm and yet I feel hot wax on my eyebrows. I did not want wax, or ask for wax I wanted threading. I asked my technician again do you guys not do threading anymore? She tells me no... This is especially important because the current medication I'm on makes my skin very dry and sensitive and I'm not supposed to do any waxing. So afterwards when I get home and look in the mirror after feeling like I've got the worst sunburn of my life I realize that the waxing (that I didn't want, I needed threading) ripped off my skin near my eyebrows. It was so painful, I recommend this place for nails but be careful with your eyebrows! read more

Tried the salon out for the first time. Went with a friend and I got the liquid gel sculpt and she got dip powder with extensions. Everything was going fine, and when the nail tech started shaping my nails I asked him to cut them down. He said he'd do it later. Well he finished shaping my nails and went to put on the polish...I asked him to cut them AGAIN because he didn't do it. He then got mad at me and started arguing with me he said "oh god oh my god now I have to shape them again. You're crazy" and I replied "I asked you before and you didn't do it" he then told me to stop talking. My friend, did not get what she wanted. She asked her nail tech for a thin look, and for her nails to match her natural nail shape (her nails curve downwards). She did not do it, and left gaps between the extension and the nail itself, and did not fix it when she asked. If you get your nails done, you know this causes bacteria to get into the hole. Although I thought my nail tech was very talented, I have never had anyone in a customer service industry be so rude to me. read more
