HORRIBLE! DO NOT use Lux Transportation for anything! First our driver was 20 minutes late! We rented a 50 passenger party bus for my wedding. It had NO AC! It was 91 degrees inside the bus when it arrived and we loa 43 people inside. We had older people ready to pass out. I the bride had to call and complain I was hung up on twice said they would call back and never did. So I had to call again and loose it on them! I was told it had AC when it left! I told them they will send something else to our location that had AC! We had to wait 1hr 30 minutes for another bus to arrive when it did that bus didn't have working AC either! NEVER, EVER should you book with this awful company!!! A black bus with no air conditioning on a hot Arizona day is a recipe for disaster. Almost criminal, really. But, that's what you should expect with these people. This was a booking for a VIP client event on Feb 28, 2019. 1) They show up 15 minutes late. Timing was important. I made that clear when I confirmed pick up with both Bryan and the driver. 2) The black bus had no A/C. We had to put one of our clients in an Uber back to the hotel after she fell ill due to heat on the bus. I learned yesterday that the reason four people didn't come to our dinner that night or meetings the next day was due to being overheated on the ride home. 3) The WORST part: while I'm panicking during the event, trying to get another bus, or, thinking how to get this bus fixed I called Lux twice. I didn't get the chance to use their service, but I am sharing the review of my experience as a word of caution to those looking to book. In February, I booked a party bus with Bryan (owner) for my 30th birthday in April. Bryan had been in talks with another individual that was interested in the bus so he told me he would wait one weekend for them to make a decision and then I could book it. I had to reach out to him 2 additional times after the agreed timeframe before I could get Lux to send me an invoice and book. I thought that it was odd for me, as the customer, to be going out of my way to try and give Lux my business. The week of my event, The business manager at Lux, Arthur, contacted me to let me know they totaled the bus and it was no longer available (the rest of the review is just my interactions with Arthur). They offered me a full refund or $200 off a shuttle bus. Things happen so I appreciated their replacement offer, but sadly the shuttle wasn't the feel I was going for. They said everywhere else in the area was way more expensive so they couldn't subcontract a comparable replacement. I ended up searching and found a another party bus company that was just going to cost me $25 extra overall. I responded back and took them up on their offer for a full refund. I did ask if they would throw in the $25 extra for all of my trouble and to make me whole on finding a comparable replacement they couldn't provide me. My logic here was that if I cancelled on them with a week to go, they would have kept my 20% deposit. I thought it was a fair ask. After that ask I was met with silence from Lux. I attempted to contact them an additional three times across three days via email and phone. They preferred to be non responsive to the refund they offered so I got my credit card company involved. They investigated and the dispute is now closed so this is why I am writing my review almost 2 months out. Lux could've declined my counter offer and still honored their full refund but they chose to ignore, get bad PR, and get hit with charge back fees from the bank reversing the transaction (which I understand is more than $25). I hope it was all worth the $25 that I asked for. read more

I used Lux Transportation this past weekend for a bachelorette party. Lea was extremely accommodating and found a way to make my party plans work with her already crazy busy schedule. Our driver Arthur was excellent. He took us where we needed to go and drove us around to fill our time which we were very grateful for. The bus was extremely clean and well kept. I will definitely be using Lux Transportation again in the future! read more

Last year we used LUX Transportation to take 20+ friends to the Salt River. The whole experience was great and we couldn't wait to go again this year. Lea was accommodating and quick to respond when booking the smaller bus this year for 15 of us. The day of our event, the driver showed up about 10 minutes late and the bus was nice but the main door did not close all the way while on the freeway... which was not very "lux" nor comforting. Once we arrived the river, we started to unloaded our things and before we could hop on for our last few things the bus was GONE. The driver never confirmed he would be leaving and left with a full cooler and all of our cell phones on the bus! We went down the river for 5 hours without any water! When it came time to be picked up, thankfully we were able to borrow a phone to call Lea to tell her to call the driver. When Lea returned our call, she let us know that it was not the drivers fault because that was protocol to leave immediately. No one ever clarified this before or during our trip out there! On top of that, on our way back the AC didn't work on the bus in the middle of June with 100+ temps. Again, none of this was shared prior. I called Tuesday as well as Wednesday after our event to follow up with them as we still needed to tip the driver and wanted to discuss the issues however no one has returned our calls. Sadly, after this experience we will be utilizing other transportation companies for all events moving forward. Not the product or customer service to expect for $600+. read more

First party bus I've been on in Phoenix. The quality was that of a vegas bus. The driver was amazing. Great Custer service. He cared more about us having a great time other than time or money spent. The bus was first class. Any time I need a bus or limo this will be the company I use, hands down. I also spoke to the owner for a few special requests. He was both accommodating and personable. Best company for buses hands down, both business buses, and party buses. I've used a party bus for an adult prom, and a business bus for a huge corporate meeting. I decided to surprise my husband for his 40th birthday and rent a party bus for a crew of our friends. Lea was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating everything. The price was very competitive and the service was superb. Our bus arrived right on time and our driver couldn't have been nicer. Bus was clean and had a great sound system and fit our party of 15 just right. They even provided ice and bottled water and we brought on a cooler of beer and some snacks. Short and sweet for this review, terrible experience with this company. On wedding day, bus arrived in filthy condition and stunk like seafood had been in it. Secondly, the size of the bus upon arrival was not what was discussed prior to making arrangements. We could barely fit our bridal party in the bus since they downsized the length of the bus. It was very deceptive if this company and that's what's the most disappointing. When confronted with their customer service/owner she was extremely unprofessional and defensive. My group of 26 decided to book a shuttle for our annual Salt River Tubing trip because it made more sense than trying to designate multiple DDs. This was hands down the best decision because our trip was flawless! I communicated via email with Lea, who was stellar in her prompt responses and really helped me answer a lot of last minute questions. Our driver, Darrell, communicated with us before pickup and was so kind enough to take us to Walmart to buy some forgotten items before our designated stop. He showed up early and was very friendly and helpful when helping us load 8 full coolers and inner tubes. The bus was spacious and comfortable enough for a much needed nap after the river. This company is VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! From the moment I signed a contract, they were so professional. I changed my pickup location twice and they were happy to accommodate me no matter what! I received a reminder email the week of my event with my drivers name and cellphone number to contact him. The day of my event I got a text reminder with all the details and a text from my driver. Finally I received a text 20 minutes before my start time from my driver stating he was already at the pick up location waiting for my guests. The party bus was BEAUTIFUL, the sound system was bump'n, the bus temperature was perfect, and it came stocked with everything we needed for our adult beverages. This transportation company is exceptional! I had such a great experience planning my party bus with Lea. She did a fantastic job at coordinating, and providing me and my group with everything we needed. The bus itself was beautiful and spacious and we filled the bus to capacity and it still didn't feel crammed. The driver of the bus and SUV we had took effective routes and were safe. They were running a little late but called and kept me posted which was all I could ask for! RUINED my WEDDING DAY! Terrible owner and management but driver was fine. Complete RIPOFF and dishonest owner Lea Diamond. I paid for a 35 person party bus and even signed a contract but on my wedding day she sent a 20 person bus. The bus was suppposed to take us from the church to the ceremony so when we came out of the church we had to unsafely cram people inside the bus. Passengers couldnt even sit down it was so packed. We were on a tight schedule so this created a very uncomfortable need for urgency to make it to our reception on time. We were late. Some of my friends and family members had to get off the bus and find their own ride since the bus was so small. I called the owner the next day and she told me "too bad." I didn't recieve an appology or explanation from the dishonet sheisty owner Lea. I did not receive any of my money back for this horrible situation caused by Lux Transportation. Do not be fooled there is a reason why their prices are so low. This company will send you a lesser bus than what you paid for just to make a quick buck. Very sad day on my wedding. The situation was embarrassing and stressful. Again, owner Lea had no remorse, consideration, or manners. What to say about Lux Transportation. First things first, we tried to book with Arthur about 8 months ago for our wedding. He was super accommodating, had fair pricing and was very responsive. Fast forward to January of this year (still two months out from my wedding), I tried to reach out to Arthur regarding final payment/invoice and to confirm our itinerary. Radio silence. I sent 2 emails that went unanswered. I called his phone number around 8am and he answered with a very perplexed "hello" and scrambled to find his words while promising he would email me what I was requesting. Yet again, no response. Fast forward to 2 weeks out from my wedding. I have had 2 unanswered phone calls, an unanswered instagram message and over 5 unanswered emails. Not to mention they have stolen my money at this point because we clearly will not be using their service and I have paid my deposit. I highly advise you to steer clear from this unreliable, unprofessional company. read more

They almost RUINED my wedding. AWFUL!!!! I can probably give them 1 star as my guests FINALLY arrived to the ceremony 5 minutes before it was scheduled to start. First, the ride from the hotel to the venue should take about 10 minutes. Guests stated the driver was lost, made multiple U-Turns in the middle of the highway, and finally got them there after a 45 minute drive. They reported the bus was HOT and the brakes were smoking and burning the entire time. Second, we were not even suppose to have this bus. We scheduled the "new" bus back at the bridal show in June of 2015. What arrived was an old bus that looked like it had been spray painted with black paint. Apparently, the bus also blew a tire after dropping off the first set of guests at the end of the night. Third, who was this ridiculous driver? Has he never heard of using Google maps or planning a destination prior to picking up guests?! He was dressed so poorly for transporting guests to a formal wedding. Can't your drivers dress somewhat nice for a formal event? At the end of our wedding dance, he also left the venue WITHOUT THE BRIDAL PARTY. We had to call him to come back to get us. His response as we boarded the bus..."Good luck finding a spot." Our out-of-town and Phoenix guests were appalled by our transportation. How embarrassing for us as we bragged about providing transportation to/from the venue in order to deter any drinking/driving and using Uber. Thanks, Lux for being the worst vendor we hired on our wedding day. You've made lasting memories for everyone involved. read more
