First impression is not good. Office is dark and front desk staff is unfriendly. Rooms don't have proper lighting and needles are left out. I had a horrible experience with lip filler. 3 months in and I still have bruising, sensitivity, and a burning sensation. When I expressed my symptoms and concerns I was dismissed and made to feel crazy. Michelle is not knowledgeable and has a heavy hand. She didn't provide me any help I was left feeling hopeless. 0.5ml is $500 and $250 to dissolve. Priced too high considering the experience felt more like a quick transaction with no follow up care. read more

About 10 months ago I went in for a consultation for acne scars. I was told that the $50 consultation fee would be subtracted from the overall price of the treatment (micro needling, lasering, peels, etc.). They decided that I would be a good fit for the new pico laser that they will be getting in a few weeks but in the meantime they suggested that I buy a retinol product from them for $150 while I wait for them to call me back for an appointment with their pico laser in a couple of weeks. Long behold, I've never gotten a call from them and I was never given a refund of the consultation fee either. I've even inquired to make an appointment recently on their website which went ignored, my calls also went unanswered. I highly suggest everyone to stay away from this place. read more

I've been to lux for almost 2 years now. My last visit was amazing, fun personal and seriously the best visit I've ever had, I mean I always have a good time there with Kayla and the nurses. They require an extra consultation appointment to do anything, which is a waste of time. Front desk people are not friendly, office is small in a crappy strip mall, hard to get an appointment, understaffed for estheticians and they're always out of town for extended amounts of time. Plus it's not normal to bruise but this place always does. One of the estheticians is pretty nice & good but there's nothing else good to say about this place, mostly negatives. read more

BEWARE of these SCAMMERS! They do not care about the client at all and only want your money. Do yourself a favor and find any other clinic. They essentially STOLE $50 from me. I wish I had read and listened to their low star reviews before I booked an appointment with them. Not once did they inform me that I had to wait 6 weeks from electrolysis before booking me for a laser appointment. I got to my appointment and they immediately turned me away saying they have a 6 week policy without even an acknowledgement or apology for their lack of communication, and still kept the $50 charge! No email, call, voicemail, text or any communication was given by any employee beforehand about this policy, one that is apparently unique to them. I would have been more than happy to wait 6 weeks and have multiple sessions with this business had their customer service not been so atrocious. My time was completely wasted, I asked for a refund and their completely noncompassionate manager Laura tried to blame me for wasting the employees' time?? When it is their job to inform their clients so appointments aren't booked for them for no reason. Any half-decent business would have had no problem to admit their mistake and simply offer the refund, and then I more than likely would have actually even forgiven and gone back, instead Laura argued with me for like 40 minutes, absolutely refused a refund, and lost a customer. read more

Went in for a microdermabrasion facial for white heads on nose came out excited thinking I'll see results in my face glowing after the redness and bruising from extraction on nose but nope all that pain and my nose was the same facial didn't really make a difference same appt I got Botox in under eye jelly roll didn't work went in two weeks later for follow up got another unit in one under eye and two in the other under eye with no luck just spent money no results I also got Botox in sides of nose for flaring and didn't work injector wanted to put more Botox in two week follow up and for me to spend more money and might not work again...pretty disappointed gotta drive back to Beverly Hills for my face I always get results there never fails read more

I have waited a couple months to see the final results it Will be 6 months on February and let me start off by saying I'm VERY ! Unhappy with my results . I got my lips done in august of 2021 and I started developing a lump from the filler mainly on the left side bottom lip and a subtle bump on right side including top lip ! My lips are Very uneven it's so embarrassing putting on lipstick ! I did go back for a follow up 3 weeks after I got them done, and Jessica did remove filler but that did not help at all I still have filler it looks uneven . Went back a month ago and they expect me to pay $200+ to inject filler dissolver that's ridiculous on top of the $700 payed. I went in 3 times, on the second visit I asked for masetter muscle Botox to slim my face. The possible effects were explained to me. But I think the injector missed the spot when injecting my left masetter because now my smile is slightly longer on one side of my face. The imbalance makes the left cheek look fatter than my right when I smile big. It's not terrible and not the end of the world because the effect will wear off in a couple of months but I am upset that when I went in to show them, they wouldn't acknowledge that it was messed up. To be fair -they also did my 11's and crows feet area with Botox and that turned out beautifully. She also did a very good Botox lip flip. Beware if you're trying to redeem alle points. Last time I asked for some Botox on my forehead and the staff used something else which caused an additional expense for me because I wasn't able to redeem any points. Now my points may expire before I can redeem them. When I asked for details about which areas of my face now have Botox v something else, no one had the decency to pull out my medical chart. I had an appointment set for 4:30pm. I showed up about 6 minutes early and checked in. I then waited 25 minutes and still was not seen. I left without receiving my service and the front desk ladies did not care at all. This business will gladly cancel your appointment or charge you for being a no call no show if the patient is 25 minutes late but if the roles reverse they could not care less. I hesitated to write a review for this place because I actually was pleased with the outcome of the procedures I had - lip filler and nasolabial fold filler. My gripe is I've been to other places for botox and such and always have been treated so much better than I have been treated here. It was my first time getting lip filler and I waited for the doctor so long in the back after they put the numbing cream on(well over an hour), that the numbing actually starting wearing off and feeling started returning to my lips which resulted in honestly one of the most painful procedures I've ever had. Thankfully, I only got half a syringe. Despite that, I decided to give them a second try because my lips did turn out nice. When I called to make an appointment for the nasolabial fold filler, I told them I had never had that done before and asked if I needed a consultation. (I have never had an actual consultation with the P.A.) They said they could book both the filler and consultation together. When I showed up, they took me in the back and started putting the numbing cream on my face, I stopped them and asked what exactly they were doing... and are they sure they didn't want to inject my cheeks instead of the actual folds themselves? and I had no idea how many vials they were planning on doing. I was alarmed and confused. The girl asked me, "Oh, you didn't have an amount specified?" I told her I never had it done before and asked for a consultation. The P.A, Jessica, didn't have time for that so she took a picture of my face with a tablet... went and talked to Jessica and then came back and told me what she suggested. That was my consultation... I have definitely never had an experience like that elsewhere.... I went ahead and had it done because I drove quite a ways to come here and didn't want to just leave and pay the "consultation fee.". At least the numbing medication didn't wear off that time. The results were decent and have lasted me awhile. Like others have mentioned the front office staff really do give off a sort of cold, "we don't care that you're here." vibe. Jessica is very friendly once you do see her but definitely very overbooked and her office staff and the whole experience is just so sub-par. read more

They will try and sell you Dysport and a more effective and longer lasting treatment, however, after doing some research, I found out that 3 units of Dysport is equivalent to 1 of Botox!! Love that this place is nearby! They have a lot to offer and I always feel welcome when I come in. I have seen Kayla and Vanessa for laser services and I recently saw Jessica for lip filler. I have had some REALLY bad lip filler experiences in the past so I'm always nervous when I get them done and I will not go just anywhere. I explained my issues I had at another office a while back and she was very understanding of my anxiety with having procedures done. She was extremely patient and caring and took her time with me. I have had Botox treatments for about 10 yrs now. I've moved about 1 hour away from my usual place. I gave Luxe a try based on reviews. I had a horrible experience. The first thing they did was marking my face all over the place. They then brought out the Botox bottle and started injecting. They didn't even ask me how much I wanted!( usually my other place it's straightforward, you tell them 30-40 or whatever amount you want of Botox. I have always used 30. Well these woman that marked my face with a marker just started injecting and not once asked how much I wanted. I figured this is how they do their work. Well it turned out they used 50u of Botox!!! No way! It looked just ok. My face seemed to recover from the Botox stretching sideways rather than upwards.i will never ever return. The medical assistant that did my procedure was not very nice. A medical assistant?????! I asked her at the end if she was a tech. Please look elsewhere because this place is horrible.needless to say I will be driving the hour it takes to get to my excellent place! They are amazing and all certified estheticians. read more

I went to Luxe Derm for laser hair removal on my full legs and underarms. I've spent thousands of dollars on razors and shaving cream and I was just fed up. I have very dark thick hair on my legs and underarms, I've always been so self conscious. I would shave then get goosebumps and boom hair was back as if I never shaved. I finally decided to make an appointment with Jessica, I was nervous wasn't sure if it would be painful. The laser itself went so fast I felt no pain whatsoever. Within about about a week of my laser I noticed a huge change, my hair wasn't growing like crazy the hair itself wasn't as thick. I'm now 5 treatments in and I can go a month without shaving my legs and even then it grows in patches I have many areas where hair doesn't grow at all. My armpits are pretty much hair free. However, the receptionist asked for a debit card to keep on file, I told her I was driving and couldn't get the info at the moment.
