Oddly enough today, I am getting a bunch of random calls and texts about a home remodel. I suspect the owner is putting my phone number on several websites to spam me with calls and texts. I will be calling the police to discuss my options and contacting Yelp directly. The estimator never showed up and called me last second to reschedule. I drove from work to meet them and was a no show. My time is valuable too. I work Monday through Friday and have to take time off for estimates or projects.

I'm writing this review to share our experience with Azores so other homeowners can make an…read moreinformed decision. We hired Azores for two bathroom remodels. While the tile work turned out nicely, our overall experience raised serious concerns about their knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and building-code requirements. The plumbing work was particularly concerning. Two drains were installed using flexible accordion tubing and improper trap configurations. When we raised our concerns, the contractor admitted they sometimes improperly install drains, stating that "usually no one cares." They first proposed fixing the issue with an S-trap, which is also not to code. These issues should have been addressed during planning , especially since the vanity cabinet was one of the first items we ordered through them. The framing work was another major concern. Azores agreed to install recessed mirrors and shampoo niches but planned to cut through existing wall studs without properly addressing the structural framing. The contractor told us that "usually people don't care about their studs being cut" and admitted they did not know there were building codes for this type of work. We ultimately had to properly frame two of the recessed mirrors ourselves because we were not comfortable with their approach. Most disappointing was their response. Rather than taking responsibility for these issues, Azores is charging us additional money to correct problems resulting from their own planning and workmanship. A nice tile finish does not make up for inadequate plumbing, framing, and code knowledge. We recommend that homeowners carefully evaluate Azores' trade expertise before hiring them.

If he is this unreliable for a sales call, he won't be reliable enough to show up and finish the job. His response shows how unprofessional and unreliable he is . He could not reach out to me until I gave him a negative review. He had 4 days to tell me he had an emergency and couldn't show up. Only response was because of a bad review. Beware all .

With the exception of a materials delay, he met the initial timeframe on one and, due to the materials, finished the second only two days after timeframe but we were aware and okay with the extra time. Most days someone was here by 8 am. They worked most of the day, focused on details, and cleaned up before they left each day. Erick was always accessible answering or returning most calls within an hour. We agreed on a budget for both projects, we paid him as milestones were met, and his estimates were reasonable. We did supply sinks, tubs, faucets and tiles. All in all, we were very happy with our results. We would hire him again.
