If I had to rank the stylists I've been to: Madeline is definitely #1--she did an amazing job with both the cut and styling, and there were no random extra charges. Abel also did a great job with my highlights. Katie and Heather would be tied. They're both very nice, but Katie cut my hair noticeably uneven--I even had coworkers telling me not to go back to her, which is why I stopped coming to the salon for a while. For the trial, I went to her house, paid her cash, and thought I had a great experience. Upon leaving the trial, we confirmed date and time of the event and I had no worries. Day of I still hadn't heard from her 10 minutes prior to when I was expecting her. I decided to text her the room number we were getting ready in but heard no response. I waited 10 more minutes, then decided to call her. My call was ignored after two and a half to three rings, twice. At this point, I caught the drift, and wasn't going to waste any more time waiting around. So I did my own makeup even though I didn't have much packed (because I was counting on her showing up.) Bottom line, Taryn, this was so unprofessional and just mean. It would have looked so much better on your part and I would have way less animosity if you had just called me or texted me and owned up to the fact that you either double booked yourself or forgot.
