My stylist of 3 years had an emergency and had to cancel my daughter's haircut, so I thought I'd try a professional kids haircut service. My daughter has curly hair 3A-3B. I should have known as soon as the salon person started to dry comb out my daughters hair that this wasn't going to be a solid experience. The phone courtesy was great but when we arrived the physical location, the greeting was less than cheery. For a paid service I expect a kind greeting and someone who knows how to cut curly hair. Better communication from the person answering the phone "What type of cut? How long is her hair? Is it curly or straight?" are types of questions that I'd offer this hair cut store front to ask its clients.

Everyone who has seen my kiddo has been very patient and they play along with the questions and random facts. The setup is similar to other kid-specific haircut places in town, except for Sharkey's offers a wash/dry for boys, and a style/nail add-on for girls. Both are a nice touch for the kids who are a little older and want something extra. An added bonus is there are a few toys to play with if you bring more than one child at a time to keep them occupied. $28 for each cut is about the going rate anymore for a kid-friendly haircut place if you check around town. Left feeling fresher and relaxed. Eye lash lift looked amazing. Looked so natural. I now see Michelle regularly for my facials and eye lash lifts. Highly recommend. Athena joined the salon a year ago doing structured nails. Thought I would give her a try. I've been trying to strengthen my nails. Athena does amazing work. I have cut my sons hair at home for the past 3 yrs but he would never sit still. The stylist brought a sense of calmness with him and he sat perfect with no fear of someone else cutting his hair. She even talked with him about his plans later on that day (which I didn't tell 'her' about, we were discussing in the waiting area as incentive to sit still).
