I got an anti-aging facial at VALO and I have to say it was one of the best I've had. I really love spa treatments and make it a point to go to high-end spas when I'm on vacation; but just because there's a hefty price tag on it doesn't mean it's necessarily that much better in terms of quality. The actual facial I received here was incredible. I would call VALO a demi spa in that it has some amenities, but not that many. They do have a nice locker room and offer spa style robes and sandals, and you can take a shower after your service if you like, but they don't have a hot tub, a sauna, a steam room, etc. Their robes were pretty size inclusive, the biggest one I saw was a two XL. The facial room itself was nicely appointed, and had a feature I haven't seen in a long time, which was a little light display on the ceiling that was very soothing. The facial bed/table was very comfortable and ergonomic. The facialist was warm and friendly, but professional. She spoke to explain things as she was doing them, and to warn me when something would be cold or bright, but didn't speak so often that I felt like she was interrupting my Zen. I can tell she was very well trained, and her massage technique was excellent. Her hands felt experienced, and the way she moved from treatment to treatment was seamless. The only thing I noticed that could be improved upon was the volume of the music in the lobby. I really like the music they had, which was sort of a more modern spa track, but as the receptionist was giving me the tour, she spoke with her back to me and between that and the music I couldn't hear what she was saying. read more

Valo Wellness Spa is tucked inside Regency Mall. From the moment you walk in, the space feels calm, modern, and luxurious. My favorite part was the firepit lounge--it's the perfect place to unwind before your appointment. I'd definitely recommend arriving about 15 minutes early so you have time to enjoy it. I booked a student massage, which was an incredible value at just $48. Was it the best massage I've ever had? No--but it was absolutely worth the price. My student therapist was kind, attentive, and checked in throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was okay. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was. Between the beautiful atmosphere and the affordable student services, I'll definitely be back. They offer a variety of treatments, and after seeing the space, I'm excited to try more of what Valo has to offer. read more

This place is such an oasis. Being Scandinavian, a visit to Valo feels like going home for a couple of hours. It is so nice and quiet, and even waiting for your appointment is part of the experience. Sitting in their dimly lit lounge, wearing a luxurious robe, sipping a delicious cup of tea, and watching the "flames" dance in the firepit...it feels so indulgent, and since phones aren't allowed, it forces you to just be present for a little bit. I usually go for facials, and I love the Swedish Maria Åkerberg products they use. These are also available for purchase. Halle is a wonderful aesthetician, and I always feel so refreshed and relaxed when I leave. They provide the robe and slippers, and have lockers to keep your belongings in during the appointment. The locker room also has a shower, and some complimentary hair products and deodorant available for use. Everyone is always so friendly, and the prices are really comparable to other spas in town. To my knowledge though, this is the only place of its kind in town - a true, stand alone day spa. Definitely go if you're looking for some quality "you time". read more

I called on 6/4/25 to get a couple appointments booked for me and my mom to get some things done together as a late Mother's Day gift for her and late birthday gift to myself. I was able to get booked in for 2 facials and 2 body treatments on 6/6/25 and when I called on the 4th the lady was super nice and helpful the entire time, I didn't feel rushed or anything while making the appointments and I was able to get all my questions answered!! The atmosphere is very relaxing, their waiting area is dimly lit and very comfortable to wait in, the music was quiet and very nice to listen to!! I give this place a 10/10. Just know you will leave relaxed, refreshed, and ready to book your next appointment. I was able to schedule the deep cleaning facial with Kayla and it was heavenly. I will be back and likely booking with her again. Really worth every penny you decide to spend. I am curious on how the massage service is. I was taken away by the facial alone so I can only imagine. This place was spectacular! I am a big fan of massages and go often, however my husband has not had one in over 5 years. Recently we have both been complaining about back pain (getting old sucks), so for Valentine's Day, I thought it would be a nice treat for us to get massages. I called around a lot of places for couples massages and then realized it was not necessary that we be in the same room. Someone I know recommended I check out Valo. So I went to their website and booked their Valo Signature 65-minute massage for the both of us. We were able to get in at the same time and our rooms were right next to each other, so it worked out great. Once we checked in, we were escorted to their changes rooms where there were very comfy robes waiting for us. After we changed into the, we were taken to their fire room. They offered a variety of nice hot teas or water. We then sat in a very zen room where the fire was so nice to look at, relaxing music was playing in the background and there were nice poofs for our feet. Our massage therapists then greeted us and took us to our rooms. This was one of the best, truly FULL body massages I have ever had. She was so nice, talked me through things in the beginning, asked about pressure and ensured I was comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough; we will absolutely be back very soon! read more

Skip all other massage places in Omaha! Valo has the best amenities and services in Omaha. They include a wellness playground with multiple services to help you relax. They are the only place in omaha that provides robes, slippers and a proper shower area for before and after your services. This is as close as you're gonna get in Omaha to a proper spa. I won't go anywhere else for a massage. Hate that other spas in Omaha send you home with oil all over you and provide no facilities to clean up or relax prior or after your service. Wow my 80 minute deep tissue massage was amazing! It was probably the best massage that I have had. I also added on some halo therapy which is essentially a lower temp sauna with a mist of salt water to help with sinuses. The fireplace lounge was a nice spot to relax at. My only suggestion would maybe to have some relaxing music playing in the halo therapy room. It was a very long 30 minutes sitting in silence. I booked a facial and a deep tissue massage. Upon checking in, the receptionist was not very friendly and the owner next to her was just as unpleasant. The facial was good. The massage therapist indicated she didn't do "deep tissue massage" half way through my massage because I kept asking for more pressure and to use deep tissue techniques elbow etc... Upon checkout I verified the massage I booked and when confirmed I explained what had transpired and I was told I'll only be charged for a Swedish massage. That massage was still terrible and the owner came out and gave me an upgrade to a salt scrub or something on my next visit. I was very disappointed with how they handled the situation. read more

Also the only spa around that provides a full facial without too much downtime - meaning you are constantly massaged/pampered while the products sit or work on your skin.
