I have heard nothing but great things about LUXE from every single person I speak with. A friend of mine and I decided we wanted to do some last minute Christmas pampering. After looking at prices and places all throughout Lancaster we found that LUXE was the most reasonable. When I called I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to fit us in the weekend before Christmas. I was informed that wouldn't be a problem at all. I generally dread calling Spa's because customer services always has the mentality that fitting in two people at a time for multiple services is too hard. This is the only salon I trust with my hair. I have gone to so many different stylists over the years and been disappointed with almost all of them. At Luxe, I do not have a certain stylist that I go to because I know that ALL of their stylists are excellent and will listen to my concerns and take their time. The owner is a very nice man who always seems to be around and will make sure that if you are unhappy, you will not leave that way. They really care at Luxe. My first visit to Luxe was only a short few months ago, but I knew after my first appointment that I had found an establishment that I would return to many times over. The staff are courteous, friendly, and professional. I've been here a few times to get my nails done upon my sister's suggestion and I really enjoyed it! There was only one time when the top coat made my nails bubble, but I went back in right away and they gladly fixed it without any trouble! I was really excited to hear that Lancaster finally had its first bumble&bumble salon! I have gone to Luxe before but only recently did I feel that I had great experiences there. Joanna did an amazing job on my keratin treatment--I had gone to someone there before, but it barely lasted two weeks. Joanna took greater care in applying the keratin and doing a nice blowout, and so far it has been two weeks with great hair. I will be going back for a cut and color with Joanna soon---looking forward to it! read more

I needed a haircut badly and saw a deal on Groupon for LUXE so I decided to give them a shot, I'm really glad I did too. I was really impressed right away when I first entered, it looks so posh and I felt a little out of place there. Everyone was super nice though and I felt at ease right away. I think my hair was cut by Ruben, he was very nice and did an absolutely fantastic job. I loved my experience at LUXE and will definitely return there in the future! I will warn you though, the parking on the street is permit only (I believe) and you will get ticketed! They have a sign warning their customers on the door but I decided to take my chance since it was after 6 pm and rainy but ended up with a ticket anyway. read more

I love the atmosphere of the spa and the employees are very genuine and kind. Hands down my favorite place for any spa service from spray tans, to facials and manicures. They usually offer you a drink when you are getting ready for your appointment but they didn't this time for some reason. Overall this is my favorite spot in Lancaster. read more

After my last review on LUXE, I received a phone call regarding my experience to my surprise!! I went back and booked the woman that actually trains everyone on prenatal massages, and she was AMAZING! I'm so grateful they gave me another opportunity to try it with no obligations. After coming out of their, I immediatelybooked another session (which is in a few days) I also took advantage of the special 50% off wax for the month of April and I had an amazing, polite, caring, just made you want to hug her woman that has been waxing for about 28 years! She was amazing! She used soft wax but was just so fast and diligent with her skills! I again RE-BOOKED her for 4 weeks from now! Although I live about 30-35 min away with traffic etc, they have made it worth my while. And Im happy that I actually spoke up about my first experience and gave a 2nd chance!! I have been a customer of this salon for the past several months. I tolerated the $40 price for my men's haircut because I thought the stylist did a good job. I was very surprised when I was asked to pay $45 for my last haircut. When I questioned the receptionist further I was told that, well, prices have gone up. Be careful of this place! They charge cancellation policies without warning you! With all the crazy weather there is no consideration for you!! Not even offering to reschedule the appointment for a different day. Yuck! What a lack of customer service!!! In response to Ana: Thanks for connecting Ana! I understand a spa of your caliber has cancelation policies, however, I didn't use your website to book my appointment. I booked by calling to the salon multiple times and speaking to 5-6 different staff members, not one of them explained the cancelation policy to me. How can I be a educated client and not know the rules? Unfortunately because of the attitude of indifference by Roxanne I won't ever be returning to the salon. I am incredibly unhappy with my experience at Luxe. For the month of June they did half off all waxes for first time clients, so when it came time for me to get a wax I decided to try Luxe. First I called to clarify the difference between a bikini wax and a brazilian wax as most places have different descriptions of them. I received a very disappointing definition of their bikini wax so I decided to try the brazilian despite the price because it would be half off. I also decided to get my eyebrows done because might as well take advantage of the half off. I go and get my wax and my wax turns out great. My specialist was incredibly attentive to detail and to meet my expectations. However, when it came to paying, they informed me that it was only half off one of my waxes and that it would be the brows, which meant that instead of expecting to pay around $45 + tip, I had to pay $85 + tip. Nowhere on the website did it say that it was limited to only one wax nor did it say that it would be the less expensive of the waxes. Additionally, I discovered once home that they had charged me for the most expensive eyebrow wax instead of the basic one which I had requested, and in no way did my eyebrow wax necessitate the most expensive option. Thoroughly disappointed in how the cost was advertised to be so much less than what I was charged. If the price was not so absurd I would definitely get waxed there again but in no way will I return to somewhere that would lie about specials like this. read more

I can not say enough amazing things about our day at Luxe. I was booking a Bachelorette party for my best friend from out of state. I had originally booked another spa in Lancaster that "lost" our reservation 3 weeks before. I called Luxe in an absolute panic hoping they could accommodate 8 girls in 3 weeks for multiple treatments. They sprung into action. Nate and Kat went above and beyond to help schedule all of us. They called me back multiple times a day, sent confirmations emails and a detailed schedule and calmed all of my worries. When the day came and we arrived the entire staff was exceptional. We arrived and were led into a room with couches and blankets to hang out in for the day. We had carried in food and mimosa's and they had a table set up, offered us water and coffee and made us more than comfortable. Our appointments flowed easily and everyone was taken back on time. The Bride was over the moon to receive a full day of pampering. Each staff member we interacted with was extremely pleasant. I had moved to the area from NJ and was looking for a trendy salon. I found Luxe on yelp and ended up really loving it! The inside is cute, the staff is friendly, and they use really nice products. I have had them do cuts and coloring (I am very picky about my color looking natural) and have never been disappointed. On top of everything, they are pretty efficient (my other experiences in the area weren't too bad, but took forever). I went to Luxe for my first Brazilian EVER. I was greeted by friendly staff, and a glass of wine to calm my nerves. Mandi was the perfect combination of professional and comforting. I was very anxious and she walked me through the whole process, kept me calm and breathing and did a wonderful job! Microblading with Brow Genius Natasha: I just got my brows microbladed today with Natasha and had an amazing experience! I want to take a little time to share my whole brow journey, just in case you're thinking about trying microblading at Luxe, but may be still on the fence about it. The Consultation The multi-step process starts with a consultation, in which Natasha provided a microblading introduction/orientation. She was candid in her discussion about the process and very knowledgable as she explained how it all works. She answered all of my questions, looked at some of my "brow-spirations" from Instagram, and took the time to show me photos of her past microblading clients (who all look fabulous!). Fast forward to today! Initial Microblading Appointment My overall experience was fantastic! Natasha is just as sweet, calm, and knowledgable as she was during my consultation appointment. We started by revisiting what I thought would be an ideal brow for my face, Natasha gave her insights, I completed some paperwork, and she reviewed the after care procedures with me. Then it was down to brow business! She spent a good amount of time mapping my "new" brows onto my face. She uses this outline as a guide during the process. Then she showed me the "blade," which is more like very tiny needles in a single row (not intimidating at all!). The most painful part for me (which could be very different for someone else) was the initial strokes before the numbing cream was able to get under my skin. It was NOT horrible pain, but I did tear up a few times. Once the numbing cream was working its magic, I experienced zero pain. Before I even knew it, we were done! When I saw the results...I was SO THRILLED. My expectations were definitely exceeded!! The ink color Natasha chose is an EXACT match, the hair strokes are so naturally placed, and the shape Natasha custom designed for my face is utterly perfect. Follow Up Appointment Natasha likes to see her microblading clients four weeks after the initial procedure for a touch up appointment. She will look at my brows to see if there are any other spots that may need more hair strokes. Needless to say, the scheduling process was a BREEZE, and I will be seeing Natasha again in May! I told Natasha that my brows have always been my biggest insecurity. Even when the rest of my make up is on point, I never felt wholly confident because of my brows. Now that they are evenly shaped, uniform, and sleek - I am feeling SO great!! I only wish I would have done it sooner! I received a very bad cut from a Master Stylist who also over processed my highlights. In addition, they over charged me and when I questioned it, the stylist walked away and the owner Anna was curt and rude and said I paid extra to fix my over processed highlights and that was typical for a client to pay for the correction. Not customer friendly, not professional, way overpriced. I will never go there again. read more
