Marvelous Experience! I visited this store thanks to my boyfriend's recommendation. I had scheduled with Dane Nguyen on the very last day of the year and had a wonderful experience. Dane suggested me very enthusiastically and patiently waited for me to choose the color (yeah, I must say that this is one of the nail salons with many beautiful colors and you will spend a lot of time deciding). I told him that I wanted my nails to be durable and sparkly, he suggested I do deep then paint a cat eye, and then he saw that my hands were too empty so l asked him to do a freestyle drawing and he did not disappoint! Finally, Dane even lent me a huge diamond so l could do a video with this adorable set of nails. I highly recommend this nail salon and l'll come back here when I come to visit PA again! read more

Horrible experience! Tina did "nail art" on my young daughter. My daughter was in tears because they looked so bad. When I kindly asked another associate to fix them because my daughter did not want to hurt Tina's feelings Tina came over and made a huge scene, raising her voice and saying my daughter did not know what she wanted. It was so embarrassing and uncomfortable. I have never been treated so terribly by a business professional. I told her I would not pay for the nails and she called the cops! Made my daughter go back in to have the nails taken off, which believe would have been done immediately anyway!!! read more

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. After 3 years we decided to try it again. Nothing changed, got worse. Tina the owner is not professional or friendly at all. My mom and I made appointments at 12 for mani and pedi, we told Tina I had to be at work by 2 o'clock that day. Everything went well up until my mom and I had our toes done by a male who clearly had no idea what he was doing. He would take the tools across our toes and acted like he was clipping and cleaning them. I eventually stopped him and said I would just pay for half the service (pedicure with no polish) because he clearly wasn't giving my feet the job I was planning on paying for. Tina insisted that she would take over 10 minutes after I was already sitting and waiting. I assured her that I was fine with waiting and I had to go to work. She snarked an attitude and told me that was my problem and I'll be paying the full service. Crying and trying to explain why I wasn't happy she just kept yelling at me and told me I do this every time. When I haven't even been there in over 3 years. The place was packed, and we stopped going in the first place because they could never get us in and out on time. Always had different, new people. Can't stand inconsistent business! You over book appointments and don't have enough good quality workers. No worries Tina, we will never be back! read more

I was really disappointed to be treated the way I did when I entered this establishment. Im a business owner myself and I would never disrespect a customer right in their face the way she did. I waited about 25 minutes before I asked how much longer I needed to wait. She then told me another 15 minutes so now that's over 40 minutes waiting for an appointment and she then started TALKING about me to another customer who I did not know and told them that "she was late" and that "that's what happens when people come late" she NEVER told me I was late. It's one thing to have a policy but its another to sit in someones face and talk about them in an unprofessional way. I came at 5:02 because of a traffic jam in THEIR parking lot which I said out loud before taking my $200 else where. She was VERY unprofessional and rude. read more

Got my wife and daughter gift cards, they did not enjoy the manicure at all. Pedicures were ok, but still not what expected compared to other salons. My wife's gel coating peeled off of her fingernails just a little over a week. The treatment during the manicure was basically non-existent other than painting their nails. And they paid for upgrades that did not last. Better service elsewhere. Other reviews were very misleading. read more

J&J is a really nice nail salon. I'm new to the area and have only been going for a few months but the owner Tina...is very sweet. Unfortunately, I may have to find another nail shop because it is so hard getting an appointment. There are two other techs there but Yuri and Tina have been the best so far when it comes to getting my shape right. If you are flexible with your appointment times...definitely give them a try but I am limited due to work and my children being home all day so I have to find a shop with more evening availability for now. :-(. read more

I have finally found the best place in York to get a pedicure! The place is super clean, modern & provides a relaxing spa-like atmosphere. The pedicure I received was so relaxing! The owner took her time with the massage, my callouses, the shaping & the application of the polish. She did a beautiful job!! She is super sweet too! I will definitely return!! read more

I was super excited to try a new salon. The young man that did my nails was great! Very personable and I felt he did a good job on my nails. I told him I wanted them decently long and on the thinner side as acrylics can sometimes look chunky . I showed him my inspiration photo and he said "don't worry I will make you LOVE your nails" and indeed I did!! Unfortunately the best day one nail had broke off already. No big deal!! I called and they said they'd fix it for me. They did, however a different employee, a women fixed my nail. She was very nice but unfortunately the shape and length was nothing like the rest of the nails. But they didn't charge me so I let it go. Well a day later, another nail broke and 2 cracked. So I called again and told them the situation, how I loved the way they looked but my worry that they would all continue to break and pleased asked for a new set. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary with my nails. Within 3 days of first getting the set on, $65 later, I had 2 nails break off and 2 nails crack. So I politely asked for a new set and explained why I was worried they would continue breaking or cracking. Her response was they'd only fix the nail that broke because I asked for "long and thin nails". I should be able to go to a nail salon and get longer nails and the acrylic not be chunky and they not break. That was ridiculous. Again all I wanted was a new set because I paid $65 and within 3 days I had 4 nails with issues. I was even willing to pay but not for a completely new fill. Unfortunately I will not be returning there again. read more
