Alex told me he didn't know where they were. Alex mentioned that the cleaning crew must have stored them elsewhere. I left my phone number with Alex so he could call me once he found my sneakers. Alex didn't call for several days. When I called the nail salon, Alex was too busy to speak with me on the phone. How long does it take to find a pair of tennis shoes and socks? Some kind of follow-up would be nice to a customer who has spent money in your establishment for years.
