Kayla, where to begin. She is so kind, meticulous to the care and process to my nails, cuticles and just educating me in the dip process. This was the second time I had it done. This is all new to me and I haven't had my nails done in years. However, Kayla has patience with me especially when I thought it was done and it definitely wasn't. She explained how when my prior dip nails that I got for a wedding one popped off and in the past with acrylic it would rip the whole nail off. She explained to me why it was good to get another dip to strengthen that nail. She also explained how the dip process works. She was very professional and kind in her helping me choose a dip color. Honestly between her and Dollie it really isn't a bad nail professional there. Observing the other nail technicians was so wonderful to see them each creating art. The science behind the dip process is fascinating. Every time I come into this salon. I know I'm getting professionals who are great at their craft. They are artists in their own right. Also the front end staff deserves recognition. From signing us in, serving us drinks, to setting us up for follow ups. Today seeing them multi task while serving us customers while folding hand towels. This is a great team. I feel like I'm in good hands literally with them. I cannot highly recommend them each enough. Yesterday, I went to Luxe for the first time, and I was pretty nervous just because I have been going to a different salon all my life. The second you enter the building, there are people there to greet you who make sure that you're comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are very warm and friendly. It was wonderful to feel so welcome right away. Emilee was the stylist who cut my hair, and let me just say, that was a fantastic experience. I wanted to do something different with my hair (for reference, I had really long hair and have rocked that for most of my life) so I asked for a layered bob with curtain bangs. Emilee knew right away what to do to keep the volume in my hair while removing the bulk. The consultation we had was efficient and she knew right away what would be the perfect length for my facial features and my hair type. Emilee was very kind, calming, and knowledgeable. She gave me advice on how to work with my hair and not against it. She was also really gentle when working with my hair. Honestly, I've never felt more relaxed when receiving a hair service and that's because of Emilee's calm energy and her confidence in her craft. The end result was literal perfection! I went in today to get my message with Stevie and she was AMAZING and very sweet, 1st time ever getting a message at Luxe in Lititz location, Stevie was very professional, polite, spoke in a low soothing voice. I loved that the room was very clean and smelled really good but there is definitely something I will critic and that is that I could hear the conversation in the room next to mine and I could hear laughter in conversation in the hallway, often it was difficult to zen durning my message which was disappointing because that was the purpose of my message, plus it was not cheap for my 90 minute message, again I want to make it clear it was not because of the young lady performing my message she was amazing. I've been to many spas in my life time and I don't mind spending $$$$ for excellent service, I just wish I was able to enjoy my zen, peace and quiet during my message. I get my hair cut about once a year, sometimes once every two years. I love letting it grow out until I can't stand it anymore and then cutting it all off in dramatic fashion. Most of the time when I chop it off I don't have a specific look I'm interested in achieving and I just want it gone, but this time I had a good idea of what I wanted it to look like after the cut. I did not walk away disappointed! It was a little shorter than I expected, but I feel like most hair cuts are and hey it's hair it grows. But overall the cut was pretty on point with what I wanted. The only issue I had was that I wanted the longest layer to be all one length and I let the hairdresser talk me into making the back a bit shorter (which I've had before and I know I hate) so that one's on me for not insisting the length remain the same all the way around. The EXCELLENT is for your Nail Tech... I'm new to this area and have been to 2 other establishments. Maritza was wonderful. She was educated on nail health and a pleasure to spend time with. She was not a pressured sales person but informative of what Luxe had to offer. I'll be back for now as she really is a fabulous nail tech- just like the one I left 3 hours away.... I encourage "self-care" especially to my patients So need a place to refer them- but am looking for one that has a little more Flexibility in prices ( I had a place I frequented in the Poconos that you could spend $20 or $250) so everyone felt special when they walked through the door. First time visiting Luxe Lititz, but it certainly won't be my last! I used the match quiz on the website to choose a stylist and my results could not have been a better fit! Only stopped in for a cut today but Jes was absolutely spectacular. It was my first cut in over three years, she helped me figure out what I truly wanted and then thoughtfully and skillfully made it a reality. She is a magnificent scissor wielding witch and I look forward to seeing what she can do for me colorwise in the future! The salon as a whole, especially in these wild pandemic times, was very clean. I'm super grateful for all of the precautions and extra steps taken to make sure everyone is safe! So pleased with the customer service! They were able to turn a situation that could have been really bad and disappointing to a really great experience. When I booked over the phone, I had scheduled a pedi and a mani. But when I arrived only one of the services showed in the computer. Somehow the one service got dropped. We didn't realize this until after the first service was completed. After some quick thinking and an honest genuine conversation about what had happened, I was offered the dropped service for free and they were able to squeeze me in. I was so very pleased to be treated like a valuable customer and with such kindness and generosity. Both services were performed well and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Thanks so much Luxe!!! I would highly recommend Luxe if you're looking for a place to get your hair done! I have really long hair and I was really nervous about getting it cut. I went to see Jordan Baker and I've never met someone so motivated and determined to make sure you like what you're paying for. She spent so much time making sure the finished look was what I wanted and while she was doing it she was explaining the whole process to me which made me feel super comfortable. The salon itself is beautiful! The awfully painful sinks we all know have been turned into reclining comfortable seats which tied the whole thing together! My first official appointment with Adeste was Awesome!!! As a premiere hairstylist, she has a busy schedule yet she put in extra time to fit me in. She used her seasoned experience, precision and creativity to give me a gorgeous color with dimension that complements me and to take me into summer. That fixed the color mess I had from a previous establishment and then to fix the mess of a cut I had, we had to go with a shorter style. I hadn't planned on short hair but I trust Adeste's expertise so I gave her the "go ahead". My hair feels so healthy and looks great! This was the third time Shannon did my hair. She is great at understanding what I'm wanting done with my hair and understands my hair's texture. I fully trust her to get my color correct and she did a wonderful job blending my balayage. I'm a little nervous when I get my hair done, but I always feel relaxed with her and leave happy! I'm not a big talker when getting my hair done and she respected that and we were still able to have a few conversations. This was my first visit with Colleen. I recently relocated to the Lancaster area and have started to embrace my natural curls during Covid. I was referred to Colleen for her DEVA cut for curly girls like myself. I'm blown away. One cut and my curls are fuller and bouncier than I could have ever hoped for. I have often wished to have the curly heads of models for curl product companies. Now, thanks to Colleen, I do!! This is the first time I have slept on my curls and didn't wake up looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket as I usually do. Yesterday I did the 'total Luxe makeover package' at Luxe in Lititz. It was an amazing experience! Everyone who worked on my services was kind and talented. Daniella did a fantastic job on my makeup and I absolutely love my cut by Jes. All of the therapists and techs took extra care to make sure I was comfortable and I could tell they truly care about the service they are delivering. My services seamlessly went from one to the other and I lost track of time in my relaxation. Today was my first time meeting Adeste.... OMG I wish I would have meet her before. I love my hair! Lila did everything I asked for. She took the time to really understand what I wanted and even brought a swatch book over, i've never been to a salon that did that! I surprised my Husband for his Birthday with a Couples Massage for us. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with nice smiles and friendly faces. My Husband had a beer and I had a Mimosa off of their complimentary menu. The massage therapists we had were very professional and friendly. The environment was calm & tranquil once in the suite. My Husband and I felt comfortable right away as this was our first time getting professional massages. Afterwards we felt so light on our feet & on cloud 9. I can't speak to the salon aspect of the business, or really any of the employees, except for one. Massage therapist Becca is just the best. I have a substantial pain and limited range of motion due to orthopedic issues of the shoulder, neck back, scapula and chest. But after just a handful of sessions I am already starting to see improvement and a reduction of symptoms that have plagued me going on a decade. I'm actually optimistic for an improved prognosis for the first time in a while. I am very satisfied with the quality of care I'm receiving. read more
