I had been going to luxe nails every two weeks for two years until I moved out of state. I never had anything but wonderful experiences and customer service every time my friends and I came in to have our nails done. The women that work here are very fast, polite, and great at what they do. They truly provide excellent customer service and my friends and I always walked out happy with our nails. I'm pretty picky about my nail salons but I liked this place - convenient location with plenty of parking, open until 7 but stay late if your nails are taking a while, the prices are reasonable and the staff was very very nice. Not to mention my nails came out really well. I wish they had massaged a bit more, offered a beverage and used disposable buffers. read more

This place absolutely blew me away -- I had to write a review! I went in to get a mani-pedi for Valentine's Day weekend, getting there around 6:20pm -- they close at 7:00pm Mon-Sat (~11:30-5:00pm Sun). The salon is very clean and new, and the staff was immediately very friendly. They told me to choose a color -- which took another 10 minutes because they have every color and brand you could possibly imagine. I went with a Dior polish for the toes, and a Butter polish on my hands -- they opened a brand new bottle for me just to try it. They also have a plethora of Essie, OPI, Orchid, Julep, and that 'X' something Sephora brand polish; including a bunch of polishes with different finishes, and glitter and such too. The girl who did my pedicure was fantastic, I'm just sorry I didn't get a name. She set up the massage chair perfectly (also -- actually very nice pedicure chairs), and got the perfect water temp for me. I was offered an entire menu of pedicure services to choose from, all varying by about $10 in price. I went with the very basic "Classic" pedicure. She proceeded to spend at least 45 minutes on my feet! All sorts of scrubbing, massaging, more scrubbing, trimming, and polishing. It was quite possibly the most thorough and detailed pedicure I've ever had! By the time they were ready for my manicure it was pretty much closing time, but the girl who did my hands did not rush at all. She was very sweet, kept up a nice conversation with me, and was very attentive to all my demands for my nails. All through both the pedicure and manicure, the staff was very sweet and pleasant. Finally, it was probably about 30 minutes past closing time, and the staff was still as attentive and patient with me as ever. They made absolutely sure I didn't mess up my nails while paying, getting my keys, and getting ready to go. They even gave me a little reusable bag for my close-toed shoes. All this to say: Luxe Nails really goes to great lengths to live up to their name, and are incredibly attentive to your needs and committed to making you feel comfortable. Highly recommended. Oh, and the fact that I paid $35 total for the mani-pedi definitely helps too! Lastly, the girls are conscious not to constantly talk in a language you don't understand, which goes a long way to making sure you don't feel like they're just gossiping and making fun of your feet. Good god I love this place! They give THE best leg and foot massage of all time. The pedicure sinks are lined with a new plastic liner for each customer, so it's very clean. A friend and I went for pedicures and we had made appointments the day before but still had to wait about 20 minutes. Not really a problem when you're not in a rush. The whole place was very busy. I was hoping to have a small design on my toe but the lady doing my pedicure didn't know how. So that was a bit disappointing. But overall, good price and good service. read more

I had a weird experience at Luxe last week when I received a manicure and pedicure. The nail tech was very upset about something and was expressing it to the nail tech next to me. The mani-pedi was stop and start and stop and start. It was awkward as I was literally caught in the middle (and I do not mind if nail techs are chatty, but this was another level). As another review asserts, this was not a relaxing atmosphere or experience. I have received various levels of service here when I have visited from 5 stars to 1 star (current experience). I am giving Luxe 2 stars because the work was beautiful and has lasted. I will debate if I will return. read more

$25 for a classic pedi with a relaxing foot and leg rub. New and clean space with several pedicure chairs; no wait at 12pm on a Sunday. Large flat screen TVs and stacks of magazines to get caught up on what's what in Hollywood. Plenty of nail colors to choose from. I'll be back! read more

I went in for the sns color manicure, but I did not get to soak or get my cuticles cleaned up. she went straight to cutting my nails, and painting the sns products. I'm not really sure if the clear coat polishes were even the sns brand as it was in an unlabeled bottle. for the most part I was very dissapointed In the lack of attention and rushing to get me painted and out the door. not worth the 45 bucks. read more

I live near this place so I stopped in for a pedicure. They did a great job & since they just opened everything is brand new in this place. While I was getting my pedicure I also noticed one of the women cleaning the other chairs & she was doing a really thorough job. They also have a few kids pedicure chairs that look like pandas and are super cute! They have a great color selection of OPI, Essie, Orly, and I even saw a few bottles of Dior & Butter polish. I came to this salon because I received exceptional service and was denied before I even sat down. I asked for dip sns or acrylic shellac with a simple flower design and was told go to else where because they "don't do that here". I was not offered a different design. I was not offered any additional services to fulfill my needs. In allllllll my years of getting my nails done on the regular I have never been turned away for something like this. I brought my friend to Luxe last weekend for some pampering on her birthday. It was a HUGE success. The girls that work there are incredibly sweet and accommodating, making sure my friend was treated like a princess on her special day! They were totally fine with me bringing in champagne and OJ to make mimosas, but I really wouldn't have needed to since they offer COMPLIMENTARY wine. The manis and pedis turned out amazing, but the cherry on top of this visit was when one of the girl's husband stopped by to see if she wanted lunch, she told him to bring my friend a cupcake from Hey Cupcake to celebrate her birthday! Fabulous service! I got the "Luxe" pedi which is very reasonably priced. They use top-notch products, too. For less than $40, I received the BEST pedi EVER! I'd pay about $65-80 for a comparable pedi anywhere else. Wish this place moves to Chicago! This place sometimes gives good service but it's spotty - sometimes the quality is very poor. It's an excellent value when things go right. Their system is inefficient and it always takes forever from start to finish. It's also very hard to relax here and the techs complain under their breath about customers (Yes, I can understand you, Kathy, and I'm sure others can too!). Very unprofessional and distracting. Hands down worst set of acrylics I've ever gotten. I'm not picky of how my set turns out. I've never had to complain or write a review BUT THIS TIME. Beginning was even a bad idea because I was first neglected for about ten minutes, and then when I told her I wanted French ombré she straight up said she'd TRY because didn't know how to do it. I trusted her.. MISTAKE. She tried a different approach on each nail and each was awful. She completely cut my middle nail coffin unevenly and wouldn't fix it when I asked her to. The texture of each finished nail was rough, lumpy, and uneven. Within the next two days, two nails snapped in HALF horizontally, so I had to remove them completely. I've never had such thin, fragile acrylics. First time going there and it was also my last. They had a ton of polishes so maybe asking them for something "less complicated" wouldn't turn out so bad. I'm going to try to attach pictures of what I showed her I wanted vs. what I got. read more
