Great service, reasonable prices, and efficient work flow! Came here for a mani and pedi with the sis and we were able to get taken care of right away without making appointments. I got the signature (cheapest) pedicure with polish and everything was clean from start to finish. The foot bath water felt a little hot at first, but I quickly got used to it. For my mani, i asked if they could do French tips with fake nails since I had recently cut my natural nails (lol). My tech did a really great job sanding down my nails and making sure the tips were a bright white. Appointments are not needed during the week as I made one in case and was surprised to see a very empty salon. I had a regular pedicure and gel manicure for my upcoming trip. There were no bumps or air pockets. I would have given her a great review for her care and quality but found my gel nails chipped within a week while on vacation! I called this salon bc I'd base a reservation online while we drove to Austin. I was the passenger, lol. I called next morning to confirm - good thing bc I don't think anyone checked their emails from the website. However, they did take me at my requested time, were very sweet, informative and helpful bc I'd hurt my leg and was using a cane. Beautiful asking with big screen tvs for every view, wherever you sat. My nails were breaking from too much pool time and carrying luggage, not the norm in the ten years at my regular place back home. So I felt like I was cheating but I needed a touch up before traveling on. The price was reasonable. I asked how long they'd been there. Her response was long enough! it seemed new! I wear powder and was surprised they don't "back " the layers on but it was explained to me that they use the topcoat that comes with the powders. I'll have to ask my friend at her salon when I go in for an appointment. Anyway they look neat & trim and my toes face lasted even though I got regular polish on them. Love my mani pedi that I just received tonight! I strolled in around 6pm on a Monday evening and there was no wait for me to get taken back to get myself a gel mani and pedicure. Picked out my colors that I wanted to use and I was able to get a soak and use the massage chairs for a bit too. Got myself a drink and then the pampering began. Got me in last minute for an appt to remove dip and add an ombre dip manicure. My nail artist was a guy, did not get his name but he did so amazing! They were shaped exactly how I asked, the ombre is perfect, thickness is perfect. One thing I would change is use a lighter pink - but I did chose that pink so I'm to blame there! So my review is two fold. Let me say that the experience while I was there was great. It's a lovey place and I enjoyed my pedicure. Sadly the next morning I woke up and my toe was red and hurt to walk on. I went to the pool to swim laps and came back and put ointment and a band-aid over it. Later that night I took off the bandaid and green and yellow puss were coming out of my toe. The pain was unbearable and I ended up at the ER getting two antibiotics and a pain med. On Monday I was at the podiatrist who said that they had pulled part of the ingrown nail but had left some behind and that had caused an infection. He numbed my toe cut the remainder of the ingrown toenail out and bandaged my foot. Everyone told me to take the pictures to the salon but honestly I was on my way out of town on vacation and didn't get back until it was healed...but I did want to advise not to let anyone but a podiatrist trim your ingrown toenails. read more

Had to write a review on my visit from today. The first time I visited this place two months ago, it was a great experience. The tech was not pushy on getting tips for my dip manicure and was ok to use my natural nails. She was thorough, efficient and did so well in returned today. Today's experience was pretty awful. They were short staffed leading to a 45 minute wait past my original appointment. They had me sitting on the pedicure chair for 30 min while I'm super pregnant and have my feet up instead of running some water at minimum. The tech was literally not friendly at all, she didn't even offer water or soda. I had to ask her if there was anything to drink after I noticed the other techs were offering their clients drinks. The selection of nail polish sucks also, this tech was quick to say no to everything. The massage was terrible, she was just smoothing around lotion rather than actually putting any pressure for the massage portion. She unfortunately also ended up being the tech that did dip on my finger nails. She did a poor job cleaning up the nails and was occupied going between myself and another customer, unable to give full attention to one of us and doing a crappy job. This was my first pedicure, and I would actually rate this a 4.5 mostly because it's a bit tough to go here if you are totally new to the whole thing, but I rounded up to 5 since that's not most people. I was also initially very nervous about hygiene having read about all the horror stories about pedicures / infections / what to watch out for, but this place exceeded my expectations. (Also yes, they do have a Texas Cosmetology License on display.) Upon entering they ask you what you're looking for, ask you to wash your hands with soap and water, then pick a nail polish color from the wall. As I mentioned above, it was initially quite overwhelming as a first-timer, but mostly because it was loud in there and masks + staffs' accents didn't help, but I figured it out eventually. Once I sat down I felt a lot more relaxed. --Cleanliness-- - They use fancy massage chairs with attached basins where the water runs like a jacuzzi. I read somewhere that moving water is what you want to prevent risk of infections. - On top of that, they use a blue disposable cover in the washbasin between each person (see pics), along with a disposable foot scrubber/sponge thing. - They wipe down the massage chair after each customer. - They have a masks required sign on the door too, and all staff (and most customers) were properly wearing their masks. - Overall, if you are concerned about hygiene at this place, don't be! --Service-- I chose the regular 30 minute, $30 Signature Pedicure and was surprised how much was included in it. I did decline cheese grater callus treatment because I heard that can generally increase risk of cuts. The foot soak and lotion foot massage was so relaxing. I was also very impressed with the quality of work and it was great for my basic needs. I don't know the name of my pedicurist but she was incredibly detailed, making sure the polish was on perfectly and nothing overflowed onto my skin, etc. Towards the end, they put my flip flops on and my polish got a bit messed up, but she took an extra 15 mins to fix and touch it up. We didn't chat much (totally fine with me) but I could tell she took pride in making sure I enjoyed the end results. When I walked out I had perfect nail polish on my toes - first time every professionally done - but on my drive back while my polish was still drying it got a little messed up. I don't mind at all though, it still looks fantastic and I wouldn't hold any nail salon accountable for my own clumsiness after I walk out. --Vibes-- - Polite staff and positive, friendly vibes - Front area of the shop feels a bit chaotic initially, as there's a lot more customers doing manicures than pedicures when I went in on a random Sunday afternoon. I liked the calmer vibes of the pedicure section in the back. - The customers overall are very chill / casual and it felt like a judgement-free zone once I got past the initial stress of not knowing how anything works when I first walked in. I also saw two guys walk in towards the end of my appointment to get pedicures and they were welcomed like any other customer, so that was nice to see that there's no discrimination or judgement. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you know what you want and you want something high quality but affordable. Just note that some of the staff don't speak English very well, so if you have special requests or questions then you may have some trouble like I did - but I was still quite happy with the service especially for the price.
