I highly recommend booking an appointment with Ruby for your nails. She is so talented, efficient, and also really nice :) I can literally show Ruby a picture of what I want for a set, and she is always able to do such an amazing job. I have been a long time customer 8+ years. My last visit a woman who I have never seen did my nails and 3 of them have already broken. My nails are naturally long with dip powder overlay. I came on a Sunday and they turned me away saying they're too busy. I've had multiple experiences of nails being poorly done & breaking off above the quick. They do an ok job, enough to look good enough, but chintz on the amount of product, not worth the money they charge and awful customer service. Girl at the front has an absolutely awful attitude. I was so looking forward to this as I don't treat myself to pedicures often. I read reviews, viewed the website and chose this place. I made an appointment with Linh (based on reviews) but when I got there, I was told she was too busy to see me. I opted for another nail tech. This lady was not very friendly and acted annoyed she even had to deal with me. I wish I had gotten her name, but she was wearing a sweatshirt that had "Chilling" on it. Hmmm... maybe it should have said "Chilly." The seat was dirty with other people's nail dust...ewww. Janky massage chair. Place was pretty dusty and didn't look clean. Very small. Website mentioned they offer drinks. I was offered nothing while others sitting down next to me were offered drinks. I asked twice for just some water. Not a great experience. My friend and fellow Elite Pree R. and I had pedicures at Enjoy Nails and Spa over the weekend. Pree was kind enough to call and make an appointment for us the day before. I'm so glad that she did because it was very busy. Pree arrived early and was able to wait for me. Once I arrived, we were immediately seated in chairs next to each other. I was never offered any sort of beverage and I did not see the mini fridge with water and soda in the waiting area until I was checking out. I also did not see any alcoholic beverages being served so that was a little disappointing as I was hoping to order a glass of wine. If you've read any of my nail salon reviews, you know that I like to keep things basic and simple. I only do regular polish with no designs. I didn't get my tech's name, but I swear, she asked me multiple times if I wanted gel polish. At one point, Pree interjected and told her that I wanted regular polish (she could sense my irritation). I don't know if the tech didn't understand or if she was trying to up sale me, but I made it clear every time that she asked that I only wanted regular polish! Since I was seated so quickly, I didn't get a chance to look at the nail polish colors. Another employee brought over a color palette and I was able to choose a color. I did the Auroma Pedicure which included a hot stone massage and hot towels. The tech did not offer to turn on the massage chair so I asked Pree how to turn it on. The pressure was good and it felt nice on my back. Unfortunately, the tech knicked me when she was trimming my cuticles, but luckily it wasn't too bad. The nail polish color came out a little bit lighter on my toes than the color swatch, but it is very pretty and I'm happy with it. When I was paying for my pedicure, the tech hovered over me as I was adding in the tip which was incredibly annoying. On a more positive note, we were able to use a $2 discount that we received from checking in on the Yelp app. The pedicure was fine, but the service provided by the tech could have been better. If I ever come back to Enjoy, I will make sure to request a different tech. read more

Looks like the last time I was here was two years ago!! This past weekend, I came with Yelp Elite buddy Tiffany, where we caught up over pedicures! I booked an appointment for both of us on Saturday afternoon, and it was good that I did since it was PACKED. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and let me wait at the front. I was offered a small refrigerated water bottle, but would have liked one of the cans of La Croix, lol! Once Tiffany arrived, we were able to get seated right away and also had seats next to each other. I opted for a gel pedicure with white gel polish and Tiffany went for regular polish, but we had to make it clear to the tech numerous times that she did *not* want gel polish. During the pedicure, Tiffany and I were able to catch up! Even with the crowds, we were able to hear each other just fine. Overall, it was a great experience and can be a refreshing one for Yelpers who need a break from food meet-ups! ;) read more

I will say this place is a hit or miss with the service. Fortunately majority of the time, the quality of my nails has been great but ever so often I will go and it is not a good experience. Last time I was there, the technician was distracted talking to workers and not paying attention to taking off the polish on my nails with the buffer and hitting my skin which really hurts because that buffer is spinning so fast. She even filed my nails down so short that one of my nails was bleeding underneath and the skin by the nail was tender to touch. Her station and equipment was also very dirty and dusty as I looked around when she was doing my nails. But when I looked at other stations, that was not all the case. There were some that were very clean and tidy so I think I just got one that was either inexperienced or just doesn't care. This doesn't happen all the time so that is why I gave them a 4 stars since there are times I have had a great experience and my nails look wonderful and it was not painful. I think next time i have a great experience, I will get their name and request them because I just never know what kind of experience I will get when I go. read more

I'm writing this review because I truly don't understand what happened today during my appointment...I cannot even comprehend how you could let someone leave your salon with their nails in this state! They look terrible. I have been a customer for over 5 years now with no complains, so I was shocked to see how poorly this basic service was performed. Let me start from the beginning: My cousins and I went in today to get our nails done hoping to both leave with a lovely regular manicure. I also happened to be coming in with acrylics that needed to be taken off. Everything started out fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I was focused on getting my cousins settled, since they don't speak english, so I was just letting my manicurist do her thing. Once my acrylics are off, my nail tech gets started on my manicure everything seems to be going smoothly. We pay, get to the car, and as soon as I look down, I'm shocked. My nails looked so bad!! I've attached some pictures and, as you can see, there are bumps from the acrylics not being taken off completely, my skin was peeling, the application is so streaky, there are small drops of polish that made it onto the back of my hand somehow???, etc. I could go on, but the images speak for themselves. I could've done a better job myself. The crazy part is that my cousins, who got the exact same thing as me minus the acrylic removal, have a beautiful 10/10 manicure. The two don't even compare. This makes me so sad because I love this place! I don't know if my particular nail tech always has this issue, was just having an off day, or what but I feel like this is unacceptable. Would love to continue to be a customer at Enjoy Nails and Spa, but these nails are atrocious and have got to go. Only reason it isn't a 5 star is due to the up charging/discretion of pricing. Tell me why removing gel x nails and getting French dip nails is 76.50 after 10% off student discount. Am I crazy or isn't that a little pricey? Besides that, they were very accommodating with me as I was a walk in appointment and directly seated and assisted. She fixed my nails to my reference photos, and normally I am scared to ask for certain things to be fixed or cut down, but I felt a bit more comfortable here. I mean as customers we are paying the premium for these nails that will be on our hands for weeks. American Manicure with Almond shape Queen did such a great job shaping and filling my nails. I usually have such a bad experience with getting my nails done. Between getting cut/burned and being unsatisfied with the final result...getting my nails done has been pretty stressful as of late. I can't thank Queen enough for the great job she did with giving me what I wanted and being gentle on my hands. Honorable mention to Kathy who expertly executed the American Tips that I wanted. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The shop itself leaves a bit to be desired, but you can tell by how busy they were the entire time, that there is a regular customer base that is satisfied. There were already 12 ppl there & folks kept coming through the door. Again, I expected it to be busy and thought with so many good reviews I have found THE place. The lies! The lies! The workers were running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to cater to everyone, they had customers writing their names on a notebook to try & keep up with who was next, and nothing about the environment was spa-like or relaxing. The nail polish in the bottles looked like it had been there awhile and needed to be replaced. This was the moment of regret and I should have excused myself right out the door. My inner voice said girl abort this mission & save yourself. But then I thought they wouldn't have all of these amazing reviews if this place wasn't THE place to be. I planned to splurge on one of the $$$ pedi packages, but after the foolishness I witnessed I opted for the basic bare-minimum package. During my visit I didn't feel warm or welcome and the person doing my pedi didn't seem confident at all. Another red flag. But, it's basic so let me just get through it and take the lesson learned. When my pedi was over the person doing my pedi said OK. That's it. Excuse me, what. No, follow me to the drying station or follow me to the register or how was your experience-nothing. Mind you I still had paraffin wax remnants on my feet I had to pick off. I also had to ask where the drying station was. Newsflash-there isn't one! Instead they asked me to sit in the waiting area that was crawling with people and no seating available. Oh, so now I need to stand and let my toes dry. Negative. When I went up to pay at the register there were people sitting all around it and even someone getting their nails done at the register vs an actual nail station. Make it make sense. So, I paid/made a donation and left that Petri dish with wet toes. It was seriously the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. But, I own some of that for not leaving when all of the signs were there. And, those who left raving reviews and I (or my experience) are not the same. read more
