This was the worst nail salon I've ever been too. Charged me $70 for short french tips for acrylic nails. It took me 2.5 hours to get out of the salon. She didn't let me pick my base color, just said "we're going to used this powder because it's pretty and natural". The french tips themselves aren't clean and sharp. The worst customer experience/ service I've ever had. I went here because it was closer to my house. If you want a genuinely good nail salon go to Aria in vista. Love all of the girls there !! read more

I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt but after waking up to yet another nail that somehow snapped off in my sleep, I felt like I had to share. I was growing my natural nails out and came here for a new builder gel set. The nails looked beautiful at first but they felt more "bendy" than usual. by day two, 6/10 nails were splitting on the sides. I couldn't make it to the salon until a few days later so I was having to wrap my fingers in bandaids and try to super glue them together again to hold me off. I should not have to do this to a fresh set. At one point, I went to grab my cat and one of the nails on my ring finger completely ripped off my natural nail and I didn't even do anything crazy. I went back to the salon and they "fixed" the ones that were splitting by filing them down and just putting a new layer of gel on them. He told me to come back in a few days to give the bloody nail some time to heal before they fixed it. Fine. I wait a couple of days. During this time, one of the ones they "fixed" started splitting AGAIN. This time, worse than the last. So there were two nails to be fixed when I went back. This time I asked for completely new nails since this was the third time around, which she did. Now two days after that, another one that was previously "fixed" is splitting off and one somehow snapped off in my sleep?? and I didn't even notice it splitting before so idk how this happened. Needless to say, my natural nails that were so long and beautiful are now several different lengths due to the trauma from this place. Idk what she did the first time but I am very disappointed with the quality of service. Let's see if I go in for a 4th time to "fix" the other two that have broken. AGAIN. I've never had this issue before. This place was not cheap and to have this problem this many times is crazy. read more

I absolutely love Luxe Nails in Oceanside! Toby does my nails, and he is AMAZING every single time. He's so detailed, patient, and truly takes his time to make sure my nails are perfect. No matter what design, length, or shape I ask for, he brings it to life flawlessly. My nails always last, and I get so many compliments! Susan does my feet, and she is just as incredible. She's gentle, thorough, and makes the whole experience so relaxing. My pedicures always look beautiful and feel even better. Well I am so so happy that I got the chance to re-do my last review about Luxe. As soon as I posted my review the Manager Tobi reached out asking if he could make things right. I went in today and let me tell you this is how you're supposed to feel when you walk out of a salon. I feel great my nails look great. He explained that the girl that did my nails was new and how much he appreciated me for making my review. He has definitely won a new customer. You can tell that he cares about his business and he knows it's the return customers that make the money. My bestie and I were in desperate need of pedicures and was looking for a place that was luxury and quality. We went on a weekday evening and there wasn't that many people so they were able to take us immediately. Tina was amazing and she has hands of steel so if you're on a desperate need of a foot massage, she's your gal! We opted for the luxury pedicure and it included a hot stone massage, foot wax, warm towel, and massage in a massaging chair. It was what the doctor ordered! There are plenty of chairs so they are able to take a good amount of people when it does get busy. I would recommend making an appointment though if you need to come on the weekend, but I highly recommend this place to everyone who needs an hour of pampering! read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. My daughter made an appointment for two pedicures at 4:30 On Tuesday, September 16. We arrived at 4:25. They did not start my pedicure until 5:00-THIRTY MINUTES LATE. My daughter's did not get started until 5:20 FIFTY MINUTES LATE. From the get go my tech tried to upsell me, so I agreed to add callous removal so my service should have been $45. My daughter got a basic pedicure which should have been $35. The total should have been $80. When I reviewed my charges THE TECH BILLED ME $110! read more

One star for nice employees and one star for ease of getting in for a pedicure. But I paid $70 for a gel pedicure with callus removal (only a very light treatment was needed) and the work was not good. Hardly any scrubbing of soles and zero callus removal (this is key because it was the only benefit of the more expensive package). However, my biggest complaint is uneven filing of my nails - leaving some rough and not straight edges, and the gel polish wasn't applied to the full nail; there are visible gaps around the sides of the nails. For a $70 basic pedicure, the filing and polish job should be much cleaner. Again, very nice people and no complaints about the place otherwise. But the quality of service was very disappointing for the price. read more

I was in town for the holidays and needed some fun nails for my Grandkids (they love my nails). I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with not only the service I received but also the designs he put on my nails. I had to have a horrible nail job removed and a new set put on. Tina was my technician for my 1st and 2nd visit. I had acrylics with gel and a pedicure with gel. I paid extra to have my feet and legs massaged for a longer period of time. It's really well worth it. Afterward, I had my entire face waxed, nice, and smooth. She did everything I asked. She gave me a cold bottle of DeSanti water and was so eloquent in our conversations. Excelllent!! I had the BEST experience with nail tech Holly. She really did a nice job on my acrylic nails and was so gentle, it didn't hurt once whereas typically because I have such thin sensitive nails, there are moments where the tools burn. But Holly was really careful and just made them look so nice. I'll definitely be back! Also, the price was great, and the salon beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend this nail salon! read more

However, when I called again on another occasion to try to make a new appointment, I was told that she actually does provide that service. Today, I called again specifically requesting Tara, and once again I was told that she does not do gel manicures and that if I wanted that service, I would need to book with someone else. I completely understand if the nail technician I want is unavailable at the time or on the day I'm requesting. That is not the issue. The problem is receiving conflicting information and feeling like my request for a specific technician is repeatedly being disregarded. This has happened before as well. I once requested a pedicure with Tara and was booked with someone else instead. The receptionist has also been rude, confused appointment times, and then blamed the clients for the confusion. It's extremely frustrating because when you find a nail technician whose work you love, you naturally want to continue booking with that person. Instead of simply being honest about Tara's availability, I have repeatedly been given inconsistent information or booked with someone else. Tara is wonderful and does excellent work. My review is not a reflection of her service at all. Unfortunately, the way appointments are handled at the front desk has made me no longer want to return to this salon

My mom doesn't speak any English, but Jordan was able to make things work between the 2 of them. My mom loved the end result. They looks very natural and the color looks great on my moms skin. I came in for my own microblade appointment shortly afterwards. My brows were uneven (when I smile one side is higher than the other) and they hair doesn't grow in the tail. Jordan took my concerns and made excellent suggestions on the shape, placement and color. The consultation was really relaxing. I love my brows and am extremely happy with the end result. While my daughter and I were on vacation in California, we both had manicures and pedicures done at Luxe Nails Lounge. I've had manicures and pedicures many times before and select a red as my color. But this time Toby gave me a halo design with a special black and white design on my pinky fingers. I had never seen it before and just love my hands so much. Also, I got the Luxe spa pedicure from Annie, it was so relaxing. By the time she was done, my legs and calves felt just like a "baby's bottom". They were so smooth and felt so good. She suggested painting my toes the same color as my shirt (hot pink) and hand drew the designs on my toes. If I ever go back to California again, I will definitely go back to Luxe Nails Lounge again. Yesterday I had my nails done by Danny. He did the best french tips I've had anywhere!!! And today I had a pedicure from Tina. It was without a doubt the best experience Ive had as a customer. She was very sweet and was great to talk to. She even helps with picking colors and made me feel at ease because I tend to be a little nervous going into nail salons. She was also gentle with my feet and still did amazing leaving my feet way softer and my nails look stunning!!!! I have gotten my nails done by Tobi for about a year now and am so happy that he finally has opened his own shop. He is fantastic at what he does, a true artist who has perfected his craft and is always professional. Though, I always go with a classic French tip, I've seen him output some wonderful hand painted designs and even marbling colors of his clients choice. I completely understand if the nail technician I want is unavailable at the time or on the day I'm requesting. That is not the issue. The problem is receiving conflicting information and feeling like my request for a specific technician is repeatedly being disregarded. This has happened before as well. I once requested a pedicure with Tara and was booked with someone else instead. The receptionist has also been rude, confused appointment times, and then blamed the clients for the confusion. It's extremely frustrating because when you find a nail technician whose work you love, you naturally want to continue booking with that person. Instead of simply being honest about Tara's availability, I have repeatedly been given inconsistent information or booked with someone else. Tara is wonderful and does excellent work. My review is not a reflection of her service at all. Unfortunately, the way appointments are handled at the front desk has made me no longer want to return to this salon
