Came here for a pedi while on vacation. The shop was clean and spacious and the massage chairs seemed new. The technician was very helpful in choosing the right color and painted a sample on my nail to make sure it was what I wanted. She was matter of fact and all-business, which I appreciated. I decided to get my nails done last min and now i regret it :( probably will get them redone tomorrow somewhere new. I knew right away it wasn't gonna be good when the lady opted to dry drill my old gel away when normally they soak it for a bit or use the cotton pad, remover, and foil (they do no do that here). Instead she just started drilling away and ofc when it started to burn she instead used a hand filer to do the same thing but at a slower speed so it didn't burn. Then after that she started to use the cuticle softener and the tool that pushes the cuticle back to keep picking at the left over polish she didn't get before. Not even using the cuticle softener to actually work on pushing my cuticles back. The lady herself and people there are very nice tho! It's just sadly the actual product at the end not good at all. This is just my experience tho but I hope I can help some of you guys out read more

There were good and bad elements at this "spa." First problem we encountered was that we booked 2 massages and 2 facials for the same time. Upon arrival, they informed us they'd be doing us one at a time and plan on 2 hours. It's a pet peeve of mine when people make an "appointment," but don't actually have the staff to provide the service you planned on. We explained we couldn't sit and wait for that long and sent just half our group for a facial and massage. Then the others were offered a pedicure while we waited. But then they had only one nail tech for the two of us who would not even answer our questions as we tried to make conversation. The owner or manager was so friendly and kind. She tried very hard to make us comfortable. She was the highlight of the visit! The massage and facial were well received. My daughter said it best. She said those services were good but the ambiance was lacking. She said you could go a long way with good/dim lighting and the right type of spa music. Just be aware this is not a true "day spa." It's more of a nail salon where they have tried to add services. Not quite what we wanted with our whole party getting services we had booked ahead of time. read more

Went in for a pedicure. Made an appointment the day before and they called me back right on time. The place was very clean and they had great music playing. I've been coming to oceanshine for years since I live in the area but sad to say, last night they ruined my natural nails. I came in at 5pm and a man worked on my nails. I told him I wanted a small trim since they were too long and I wanted them almond shape. He proceeded to cut them with a clipper and then filed them down so much that now I'm in pain. I asked for a pink clear coat, but he didn't have it, so he used a clear coat that only made my nail bed look colorless and unattractive. He skipped alot of steps like the lotion and hand massage. He failed to clean the area and the tools from the start so there was alot of old nail clippings from other people. At the end he still demanded a tip. I gave him $2 when I always tip very well. I will attach pictures as proof and I will stop recommending everyone to you. I will no longer be a customer at this establishment. read more

We came in and the manager/owner had us wait then had the 3 girls do their pedicures and told us all of a sudden she only had one aesthetician for a facial so only I could get one and then had me wait for over an hour after our appointment to get the facial. Stated for me to get a foot massage complimentary. So I finally got my facial, extremely basic & not relaxing at all. She put some exfoliant on my face, did extractions, rubbed some moisturizer on my face and sent me out the door. As we went to pay, then ended up charging for the complimentary foot massage (for waiting an hour after the appointment) and also demanded a tip. DIRTYYYY. these are actually the worst nails i've ever gotten in my entire life. it's not even, it looks clumpy. they don't have powder nail polish. so my nails got chipped the same day. OMG! DIRTY, the lady did a fill on my acrylic nails and everything was dirty not cleaned not sterilized. She put it away were she found it when she was done with my set. I was told it was $32 for a fill and $40 for a fill with acrylic nail polish. I wanted $32. at the end she charged me $38 because she used acrylic nail polish which i didn't agree on. I told her i was told $32 and said no $38 and was forced to pay. I DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE IF U DONT WANT DIRTY TOOLS CLEANING UR NAILS. read more

I love this place! It is my go to nail salon. The place itself is quite big inside. It is also very clean, fairly priced, the massage chairs are in great condition, and most importantly, the team is so good at what they do and they are friendly. (As I'm writing this review they are offering me a drink as I sit in my chair and to warm up the coffee I brought in. Amazing service!) Worst mail experience of my life. They don't have any of the gel or dip polishes on display or in a book like normally a nail salon would, they instead just have you pick, from a wall for gel where it's inside the bottle still, or a tub of dip containers where it's just powder! Anyone who's done gel or dip knows they cure the colors on a nail wheel because the bottle and powder is not an accurate representation of the color. I chose WHITE. I even clarified it would be white after choosing the tub. Instead I got a sparkly top coat. they also made me submerge my hands in acetone for 20 min and only stopped because I asked. They tried to pick off the old dip which destroyed my nails. When I asked if they could use the file machine he literally said "i don't want to" ON TOP OF THAT, my nails are chipping after less than one week............. i had a gift card here so at least it wasn't out of my own pocket but i truly don't get any of the five star ratings. ALSO! no massage for pedicure! maybe like 5 calf punches each and that's it. such a stressful experience. read more
