I'm not sure if she was being particularly rude to me because she could tell I was uncomfortable from her not wearing a mask/her sign or if she treats every customer this way. I've never been spoken to the way she did by a 'professional' in the beauty/health/wellness industry. It was as if she was mad at ME for being there! I thought maybe I had booked the wrong thing online, so a minute into her brash line of questioning I apologized and said, "oh I'm sorry I thought I booked a consultation," she responded in a condescending tone saying, "I know-this is me consulting you." I requested a natural result to enhance my natural freckles and compliment my olive complexion, instead in response she asked what color I wanted, a total abdication of her professional responsibility, and expertise as a cosmetic tattoo/permanent makeup artist. The tattoos healed extremely dark, gray/black-brown, and completely unnatural. When I reached out to address the issue, she refused to offer any correction measures, stating she could lighten them but only if I paid full price. Given how poorly they were done, I wouldn't be surprised if the darkness was intentional, knowing she could charge to lighten them. It's been 5 years of hating my skin every time I look in the mirror, and currently pursuing full removal elsewhere. I will never return to the women who permanently ruined my appearance and refused to correct her mistake. Five years later, these tattoos still resemble blackheads and make my skin look awful.
