I do not know this mans name or anything * I asked the guy to do a french tip for me & he told me that he can't do it & then i asked for little flowers on them & he said ok but never did the flowers. I also asked for almond shaped nails & he gave me the square shaped ones. *The man left 3 times during my appointment to go smoke & was gone for about 5-10 minutes. *The man cut my finger & made me bleed. I waited for 30 mins to get my nails done just for him to come to me and say "I can't do your nails because you don't have anyone to hold your baby". Got my nails done here today out of curiosity.. came for just a regular french tip, but the lady talked me into getting these fun hot pink sparkley ones. They don't speak much English,but she was nice.. the big tv on the wall was nice to watch while she was doing them. Pretty chandeliers hanging up with fun, color changing lights and cool little decorations around.. she filed my actual nail pretty bad...there even kinda sore today, but they look cute.. ended up being $55 for the colored tips... instead of 48 for the french tips.. it was an alright place...the pedicure chairs are where it's really at...looks very big n comfy with plenty of chairs for wedding parties, etc. read more

Came in to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time, only had to wait probably 10 minutes, as soon as I got called to go to the waxing room I showed the women who attended me how I wanted my eyebrows. I wanted to go with a NATURAL FULL look with an arch (witch is how I naturally have my eyebrows, so basically I just wanted a touch up on my eyebrows and all the grown out hairs removed) By the time she was done with me and I looked in the mirror my eyebrows were not full or natural they were so THIN and SHORT!! Now I have to wait for my eyebrows to grow back to the full look I had them to begin with. I will no longer be going back and for it being my first time and all I wouldn't recommend anyone to go in either. That's my opinion. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I walked into this establishment for a mani-pedi, picked my color was told I needed gel but I didn't want it. Sat down for my pedi she told me the color I chose was cheap and would take forever to dry, I told her that was fine, I wanted that color anyway (she was mad at this point) brought me over the menu to pick which one I wanted, I told her I wanted the basic slammed it shut (again even more mad), put plain water (nothing else) in the foot tub took my foot out of the water after about 30 seconds and picked up a dremel tool, I asked her not to use that Please, she took out a tool and aggressively stuck me in the corner of my toe, at that point I asked for a towel dried my feet off told her to have a nice day and left!!!!! I went today for the first time to have my nails fixed from another salon here in town. Luxi nails did AMAZING. My nails look great!!! They had to completely take my nails off that the other salon did, because they were so thick and starting to come off. My nail tech was super attentive, and made sure my experience was good since I had such bad luck at the other salon. I highly recommend going here!! read more

Went with a friend to use our gift certificates from Christmas and was so disappointed. We were the only ones in the business when we got there. So I was excited and thought it wouldn't be so rushed. Everything was good until we started the pedicures. My friends tech was incredibly rude. When he hurt her he said, "well it is a hang nail. What can I do?" He continually scolded her for not staying still even though he was being so rough she couldn't. My tech was so so. He was talking on his ear pods the whole time going to exchange for a charged set a couple times. The massage was hardly one and for the price I was shocked. After our feet had been picked over we went to the manicure part. My tech did a good job painting my nails but then started trying to sell me a screen protector for my phone. Even went as far as to say He wouldnt charge me labor. Once I was finished I went and sat by my friend. Her tech told me to look in the bowl to see what came off her cuticles. That it would gross me out. I'll add, my friend is a seasoned mani pedi receiver. Her nails/toes were NOT in bad condition. Even if they were, there should not be a verbal attack on them. My friends tech put the wrong color on her nails. She told him and he said it's close enough. What!?!? The whole process was incredibly rushed and disappointing. I can't even explain my shock of disappointment for this place, I had went to go to get my nails done with my friend in the weekend hoping to get some nice nails. I was getting gel and she had gotten acrylics. As I was getting them done, the color I picked was not what it looked like in the bottle at all, it was a honey yellow but ended up looking like cat pee. He didn't even do a test strip or ask me anything to see if it was okay. When he asked me if the design was correct he seemed very persistent and kinda angry? Idk, but I just agreed to what he did from the vibe I had gotten. When mine was done I had looked at the finished product and let me tell you the patchyness was UNBELIEVABLE. My cuticals looked even worse and my skin was dry all around. I had sent them to my mom and she even agreed as well, my friends acrylics were pretty good, a little chunky and not smoothed out enough though. Didn't really fit her well. Ended up paying $40 for me and $70 for my friend. Little overpriced I must say, I get why nails are expensive but could've been cheaper. Overall crappy result but the place is clean and has an average color selection, but be warned the color you pick might not look like what it is in the bottle. I've been going to Luxi Nails for a few months now. They have continually raised the prices they charge me. At first, my pedicure was $55. (I'd always tip at least $20.) Then my pedicure price was raised to $70. WTF? Then my mani/pedi combo went from $105 to $145. It's ridiculous. I will never step back into this place again. They got greedy and lost a steady customer and great tipper. And I'm taking my friends that used to come to Luxi Nails with me, and we're going to a different salon. Fair warning: Do not pull up in a new car. Do not carry a designer handbag in there. Do not wear an expensive watch. If you do, you'll pay a higher price than the rest of the people. I went for a pedi , started out he was rude made me feel very uncomfortable kept scolding me instead of asking me if I wanted anything ,kept jerking me around ! Very rough!No one else was there so I think he thought he could treat me like this , then he told me to stay under the toe dryer until he told me so I said sure , then another guy comes over screams at me , You been here to long ! You go ! I tried to explain that the other guy told me to stay and he would tell me but this new guy kept saying loudly , you gotta go ! There is nothing luxurious about this place. Over priced for the quality of the service. I had a mani/pedi and was asked 3 times did I want gel nails when I said no from the start. Then I was even asked "why!" They clearly want you to spend more money, but that doesn't equate to more attention.
