Crowley consumers beware Over the weekend I attempted to…read morepurchase Bobcat attachment from Anthony Armendariz a presentive of Lonestar tile and granite company in Crowley. I drove up from San Antonio to purchase the item and met him at his family's Lonestar Tile and Granite business location on FM-1187 shook hands with everyone and paid the agreed price to directly Anthony Armendariz in cash. There were other people there his uncle, his girlfriend who I had been communicating with and other workers. When I arrived, it was already dark and the item was already hanging from a forklift ready to load. It was late and I was in a hurry to get on the road back to San Antonio, so I quickly loaded the item and left and no point in our communication did anyone ever mention the item missing parts or being not functional. 5 minutes down the road I stopped at QT to fuel up and to check my straps as the items was big and heavy. While checking my straps I noticed the item was missing the main hydraulic control component. I immediately call Anthony Armendariz girl friend who is the persons I had been communication with, and she said that they were not aware that anything was wrong with or missing from the item and said they would be happy to return my money. She also said that there was some parts that possibly went to the piece of equipment at the business and I could go back and look at them. At this point I was pretty sure it was just an honest oversite, and the part would be found at the business, and I would be happy to take it with me and sort it out when I got home but not luck. The missing very important and very expensive part was not able to be found I then communicated this to Anthony Armendariz and his girl friend and they then stopped communicating with me at all. I decided that my best course of action was to unload the item and leave it there and with the hope that these people would do the right thing and return my money. Unfortunately I had to much faith in the honestly of the company and this family and they will not return my calls or messages. I am posting this because this is a family business and if this is how they operate it should be known to community. I am still hopeful that they will do the right thing but we will see and I will up date this if the situation changes.

RTA cabinets from a Malaysian manufacturer that are put together onsite by this vendor who…read moreprimarily works with GCs. I chose the grey cabinets for a kitchen remodel. My contractors first experience with Eon Cabinetry. There were issues of incorrect cabinets ordered by my GC. Be aware that they cannot be returned once they are installed. Overall, I would say that the cabinets are of nice appearing quality and a good price , but some other issues were noted during installation.. If you use them, the colors are nice, but there are some production line problems, and 2 cabinet doors were too long. I Was told that it was a fabrication error from the manufacturer. Several other cabinet doors were warped and needed to be returned, apparently due to the extreme heat in the vendors local warehouse during the Texas heat. So, be aware that the cabinets are not kept in a temperature controlled environment. They will replace any defect if you notice it and tell them. Some scratches noted on other doors and also some other areas (not showing, where the paint was peeling off. (The heat?) the cabinets look very good in the kitchen, but I will have to remember to update the review to see how long they actually hold up. The office was very willing to replace any defective doors that the GC brought to their attention and they give you touch up paint and putty as well. The paint did not match perfectly for large dings, but they will replace the door if that is an issue. My advice is to go over every cabinet when you get them, and ask your GC for a DRY FIT, before installing them so that if there are defects or incorrect sizes ordered, or the layout is wrong, you are then able to exchange them. Have your GC deal with the office staff as I felt they were a bit salty and they don't seem to deal with the public directly it seems. FYI: these cabinets can also be ordered from other vendors online under different names, but, if they arrive damaged, it can take weeks and more hassles to get them replaced. My GC was able to get replacements within 2 hours. So just be aware of that if you decide to buy them online. It could put your project behind if you get something defective or they are the wrong size etc.... The main benefit of using this vendor was because they are local and have a brick and mortar location in Fort Worth. I would say that if I were to do house flipping, I might use them again. Pros: price, local vendor, responsive to quality issues or exchanges. Cons: limited selection, some quality control from mfctr, and quality control issues on vendors side resulting in wood warping from extreme temps in a non temperature controlled warehouse. Recommendations: inspect every cabinet, do a dry fit before install, and check every door for dings, scratches and warping etc in the summer before installing.

These cabinets exceed builders grade far and away with their fit and finish. They have all the little details that one looks for when buying quality cabinets. All solid wood construction. No particle board or MDF! Soft close drawers and hinges. Solid shelving and hardware. Everything that we were looking for at a reasonable price. His pricing and quality are far better than the overpriced junk you get a Home Depot. I cannot recommend him enough and will return to him when we do our garage cabinets next.
