What a wonderful business, extremely nice people with great ideas. If you're looking for a great construction company, look no further, you can't do better than HDP. Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase. read more

Again, HDP Construction rocks. We used Ray and his team to do a complete remodel inside out outside in 2016 and couldn't have been happier. YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. I cannot recommend HDP highly enough. Ray and his whole team honestly believe in delivering a quality experience to the client. Our project was far from extravagant - renovating our daughters' bathroom - but the whole HDP team treated our project like it was their first priority. Ray, the owner, took into account our wishes and budget and came back with a plan and itemized list of materials, cost and timing and walked us through every little detail. He also worked with us to save costs where we could. Regan, our designer, listened to our tastes and preferences and came up with three beautiful design themes for us to choose from. She even pulled material samples for us to seen in person and even put together a 3D rendering of each bathroom design so we could see how the finished project would look like. It felt like we were in an HGTV show! Leslie Henry, our project manager, was at our house practically every day checking on progress, asking for our input on each and every decision, making sure that everything was going as planned. If there were any issues with the work or adaptations to the plan, she was upfront with what needed to change and proactive in coming up with solutions. And the entire construction team - from demo to tile to cabinetry to plumbing and electrical - was awesome! All super skilled, hard working and respectful of our family and our home. And ultimately, the result is stunning. We could not have imagined a more beautiful bathroom. HDP is one of those EXTREMELY rare renovation companies that is honest and accountable, does amazing work and actually cares about their customer. "Construction Services" that's a joke!! Called and spoke with someone to get a quote for doing a small kitchen reno (mostly consisting of cabinetry and countertops) and flooring -- wood and tile -- installation. Was told it would be 2 weeks before they could even get out to take measurements for an estimate. Okay. The day the estimator was to come out, we received a call that he's on his way, but this was 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time (that was made weeks ago, remember). 45 MINUTES later, someone finally arrives. Now there's no time for the whole horse-and-pony show because I have an upcoming appt. that I can't be late for. The estimator takes the measurements, sees the flooring we already have, leaves a food stained pamphlet about their business, and says it'll be ANOTHER WEEK before the estimate will be ready. TEN DAYS later, get an email that they "don't have the resources necessary to complete your request." WHAT?? From the 1st phone call, they knew exactly what we wanted done and said this was right in their wheelhouse. Now, after nearly a month of my time, you can't do the project??!! What's really going on? Are you THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS in all of DFW, or do you only do business with a certain type of customer? Ultimately, I had to step back and look at this as a blessing... protection from above shielding me from this UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY. I'd give ZERO STARS if I could. Wish there were 6 stars. Very easy from initial consultation to finished product. Good price, no surprises, high quality work. Our bathroom remodel went very smooth. The workers were respectful of our house & furnishings and friendly. All of them know what they were doing. I would highly recommend HDP to everyone (and have already recommended them to a few.) I don't like it when companies waste my time. If you don't want my $$$-business-$$$, then don't ask me to call you, then beat around the bush. I messaged via Yelp for a quote. I was answered that day to schedule an appointment. My call the following day was ignored. My texts were ignored. I'm not chasing ANYONE. The company is owned by a pastor (how fancy, they leave it on the voicemail just to let you know). Apparently ignoring people is how they do business. Either that or they just must have too much business to answer potential customers. You might want to find a company that actually starts off on the right foot, this must be a theme of theirs... if they can't even get a phone call right (plus it was a CELL PHONE! It says so on voicemail, so you can't lie and say it magically didn't work), then why would I trust you to do anything in my house? I wouldn't, not anymore. read more

Updated Review: I still haven't used this company but I do want to point out that I received a very nice email from Tia because I called her to tell her my experience. She offered that her husband come out and take care of my needs and offered a small discount. If I do use them in the future I will ensure that ONLY the owner comes out to my house. Initial Review: When I first called I spoke with one of the owners, Tia, and she was very nice. She arranged for someone to come to my house a few days later. When that man showed up I had a list of everything that needed to be fixed. He walked around taking pictures. He didn't have any comments and acted like he didn't know how to screw in a lighbulb. I even mentioned a air filter vent cover that I needed turned around and I was too short to reach with a step stool. He took a picture of it! Seriously! It's an 8 foot ceiling, and all I needed was the tabs flipped and vent turned. I told him if he was going to "quote" me for taking the 10 seconds it takes to do that then I was dealing with the wrong company! He left and said he'd ask the company to quote it ASAP since I'm trying to put the house on the market....here it is 5 days later and NOT A PEEP from that company. I called and spoke with Tia asking where the quote was and she didn't know but said she'd follow up on it. I told her not to bother. I have not used this company but based on my experience and interaction with the non-handyman that came to my house I can not recommend them! read more

We have/ had a critter issue in our attic. I called another company. They came out promptIy and quoted an outrageous amount of $8500! I called a friend and she recommended HDP. They called me. I got a quote. We scheduled a service appointment. They came and NOT only did they do what we asked they went above and beyond! The man saw that our storm door was leaned against the house due to the storm ripping it off the hinge, and offered to put it back up! AT NO ADDITIONAL FEE! Just because! I used them to do some work around the house that hubby kept putting off. They were slow to return my call but the work they did was exceptional. They made sure every detail was taken care of and the quality of the work was tiptop. Only negative comment I have is that there were a lot of worker's (chief's) standing around watching 2 men actually doing the work. But with that in mind, I have to add that my project turned out not to be a simple fix (may be the reason hubby kept putting it off) so they have just been curious as to how the two workers were going to "fix" my problem. I just kept wondering how much overhead do they have with so many "chiefs" vs "indians". But I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Quality work is what I'm looking for. read more
