However, I'm very disappointed to discuss the experience that my mom had. While I can understand that they were extremely under staffed and that was not their fault, they failed to let us know ahead of time that they would not be able to help us at the time we made our appointment for 4 o'clock. My mom didn't get seen until an hour and half later than her appointment. They also neglected to give her the full pedicure service and seemed to be in a rush to leave. While doing her manicure the lady also told my mom that she "hated her job" and "hated doing nails" ...and proceeded to leave several ridges and bumps on her manicure. They also proceed to start mopping while my mom was still getting her nails done, which was ok but the odor that came from the Mop and the mop/bucket water was ...extremely unpleasant. I'm so disappointed as I considered myself an extremely loyal customer, usually overlooking small things that I wasn't happy with. However I think I will be moving on to another salon. The one redeeming quality of this establishment is the owner, she is truly the kindest lady you've ever met.

Two reasons for only three stars: First, she only does eyelash extensions at night. We were the only ones in the salon, it was dark outside, and we were in a back room. I felt it was a very unsafe situation. Second, she didn't provide any guidance as to the length of the lashes I should get. It was my first time ever getting lashes, and she knew that. She asked me how long I wanted them. I looked to her for guidance, and she wouldn't give me any information. She showed me two lashes of different lengths and had me choose. It turns out they were way too long. They hit my glasses. I'm told that my own lashes are too short to support lashes that long. She is the professional, and it would have been nice to get a little guidance as to the length. Because they were too long, I couldn't continue wearing them, and I let them all fall off. She was very good at giving me instructions for care of the lashes. I just wish (1) she did lashes during the day and (2) provided a little more guidance about the appropriate lash length -- especially for first-timers. If she were to work during the day, I would go back to her (now that I know which lash length is better).

My nail tech, Joanne, was so kind and patient. She helped me pick out my colors and did the exact burgundy and brown design I wanted with the little black spots. I also got designs on two fingers, and every finger has a little gem. Everything came out clean and detailed. I paid around $80 plus tip and even got 10 percent off since they're new to the area. I'm originally from San Francisco, and a set like this would easily run me over a hundred dollars or more, so I'm really happy with both the quality and the price. They also accept a bunch of payment methods like Apple Pay, Cash App, and Venmo, which made the whole checkout super easy. The best part is the quality. I'm a mom to a disabled child and I use my hands nonstop. I wash dishes, I cook, I clean, I garden, and I even planted trees in my backyard after getting these nails done. They didn't chip, lift, or break at all. Joanne told me to come back if I had any issues, but the time and care she put into my nails makes me feel like they'll last until I'm ready for a new set. The shop is in a nice little shopping plaza with good food around. There's a great Chinese spot next door called Riches if you want to grab something to eat after your appointment, and a 7-Eleven right there for snacks and drinks. I'm really happy with how my nails turned out and I definitely recommend this place.
