Today I got my air ducts cleaned by Mr.B's Air duct cleaning. Josh and his fellow technician came to our house in West Nashville, TN. They did a wonderful job and explained everything, very polite indeed. Mr. Barney gave a quote and they sticked to the quote, no gimmicks no surprises and the job was well done by the technicians Josh and his fellowman. They were quite honest and told me that the air duct cleaning would not be required for another 5 to 7 years and guaranteed that if something is not quite well they would take care of it. Mr B's has the best customer service. I just moved to the Nashville area from California. Received a free quote (easily acquired) and quickly scheduled a duct cleaning on our home. The morning of our appointment, the gentlemen were timely, courteous, and very efficient. Unfortunately, we had two windows in our dining room with a bit of a scuff (paint/trim damage). Accidents happen and material things can be easily fixed. I reached out to Mr B's and they went above and beyond in customer service. They have a customer for life. My daughter and son-in-law had Mr B's clean the vents after moving into a home that was causing some allergy symptoms. After servicing the vents, no more symptoms. We moved into a nearby home, the sellers had lived in it fir 20 years. We called Mr B's based on my daughter's experience. The technicians arrived on time and did a great job. They explained everything, and were clean and courteous. The a/c was turned off during the service. That evening, the house was quite warm and I texted Mark at Mr B's, worried that I had done something wrong when adjusting the temp. He called me the following morning on a Saturday, and was so helpful. It was one of the hottest weekends of the year and we talked through options. Turns out that due to the heat, it took time for the interior temp to return to 72 degrees. I so appreciate Mr B's, from the quality of work to the helpfulness of and integrity Mark showed on an early Saturday morning. It's hard to put into words how impressed I am by this business. First off, a lot of the other duct cleaning services out there want to charge per return, line, register, etc. Not so with Mr. B's - When I called to get a quote, it was based on the square footage of my home and I got to talk directly with Mr. B himself! Scheduling was easy, and I received an email the day before my scheduled appointment from Mr. B to confirm the time and also included the names of the techs that would be performing my service. The guys that came out (Clint and Haden) were great! They introduced themselves upon arrival and began setting up their equipment. There was one small snag due to a critical piece (power cord for the vac unit) being left back in Brentwood. They explained the situation, tore everything back down so that it wouldn't be in the way and rushed to get the power cord. They were back after a short while and the fun commenced! Aside from the noise of the vac unit (loud) it is a pretty unobtrusive experience. It didn't take very long for them to finish, and they showed what had been sucked out of the ductwork. I wish that I had taken before pictures, because when I took a look at just the return, it looked like it had been freshly installed. I'm talking perfectly clean, gleaming sheet metal here! Clint and Haden also mentioned that I had a huge leak in my ducts at one spot due to improper installation. Thanks to them, I was able to get a guy out the next day to do that repair and can tell a huge difference! He also mentioned that the ducts were incredibly clean and was impressed with Clint and Haden's work. As I sit here writing this review with the A/C running, I no longer have to inhale moldy, musty who-knows-what coming out of my vents! I'm glad that I passed over all of the cheap Groupon promos with lots of gotchas and went with the pros! read more

The guys that came out to clean the ducts were awesome. We have used these guys before with no issues. Our contractor was paying the fee with the details worked out beforehand. Robbie the owner called the next day demanding payment and was very RUDE. We went ahead and payed and will get reimbursed. I guess they are having money issues as to why he wouldn't wait for the contractor to pay. Prior I would recommend them but now not so much. read more

This is the way a service-based business should be run. The guys that came out were super nice and did a great job. They missed one vent in my kitchen. My fault as much as theirs. We have just recently remodeled our house and had an excessive amount of dust. Seems like we were dusting furniture every other day. We contacted Mr B's and they sent out R.J and Daniel to clean our duct work. They were prompt,thorough and very professional. We were able to take pictures of before and after and they showed us the filter when they completed the cleaning. We were truly amazed of the dust and dirt they cleaned out of the duct work. I moved into an old mobile home back in September, and found out later I should get my ducts cleaned. Made tons of sense to me, since every time I turned on my heater my nose would run like crazy. And as someone with lung cancer, breathing nasty dust and who-knows-what-else probably wasn't too great for me. So I called and scheduled an appointment. The two technicians, Mike and Daniel, showed up right on time and were very pleasant and professional. I especially appreciated that they didn't stare at my bald head (I'm still not used to it myself)! They moved their equipment in, and I left them to do their work. Not too much later, they called me over to the bedroom at the far end of the house to show me that something (or most likely a drunk someone) had completely detached the main trunk line from the house. So if not for the grills over the vents, any manner of wildlife could've crawled up into my house...and every time I turned on the heater/air conditioning, I was blowing dirt up into the house from the underbelly. Gross. They reluctantly informed me that they wouldn't be able to get the cleaning done until I got that fixed, and I really appreciated their honesty as well as how much time they took to show me and explain it so I understood. I'm sure there are others who, in the same situation, would've pretended to do the cleaning, taken my money, and left, knowing if I hadn't already discovered the trunkline issue I was unlikely to do so on my own. So I got the trunkline fixed, then called Mr. B's again to schedule another appointment. They got me in within a couple of weeks, and the same technicians came by, just as professional and friendly as before. This time they were able to get the cleaning done, and for only $250 (my home is pretty small). The other place I called was willing to give me a "deal" of $750...no thanks! Mike and Daniel showed me the filth their machine had sucked out of my ducts, and even went ahead and polished up the inside of my heating/AC unit (I think that's what it's called...the thing with the grille installed in my wall directly under the thermostat/control). Really happy with my experience, and I'm so glad I'll know exactly who to call when my ducts are ready to be cleaned again! read more

I would like to recommend Mr. B's duct cleaning. The workers were very polite and their work was done in a craftsman like manner. I thought that they would remove each vent register and run a vacuum down the duct work. Nothing of the like happened. They went into the attic where the HVAC unit is and went from there to each register from that direction. No dust or mess. What a great method. read more

UPDATE: A few weeks after service, Mr. B called me himself and apologized for the service. As a gesture of good will, he fully refunded the $350 I paid. He said he doesn't want to ever work with customers who aren't fully satisfied. - - - - - Chris and Hayden, two employees of Mr. B's, came to clean our air ducts on Monday, August 22nd, 2016. They hit some traffic on the way here, which is totally understandable. Because of that, they showed up 30-40 minutes late, but I was getting the house ready to get cleaned (moving furniture, rugs, etc), so it was actually kind of nice that they were late. Chris and Hayden seemed like really nice guys. They were kind and respectful in their communications with me. But their work ethic was a whole other thing; they did not do a good job. After an hour and a half, when they were about to finish up, I asked them if they were going to use the rotor brush with the vacuum (I'd done a little research before). They said they could do that. They got some of their equipment back out and did so. But if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have done it. I thanked them for using the rotor brush and they said it was no problem. They packed their things and headed out. I should have looked at the state of our house before letting them go Every space around the air vents were filthy (about 6' on every side of the air vent), which meant it got all over the carpets, couch, guitars, books, our kids toys, kitchen table, and lots more. It took about two hours to clean up the mess they made. More than that, Chris and Hayden left a bunch of smudge marks on the walls, which wasn't a big deal since it easily cleaned up with soap, water and a washcloth, but it's the principle of the thing. They came to clean, not leave our house a mess. I called Mr. B's and spoke to Mark, the guy who books their appointments, and he offered to take $25 off the price after I asked him what he could give me for the trouble. $25 seemed insulting to me (for the two hours of cleanup I did), so I asked for another $50 off (I should have asked for more). He agreed. With the coupon I found online, that meant $100 off. So instead of $450 it was $350. But with the two hours of cleanup we had to do, $100 off didn't seem worth it. read more

They came out and cleaned a ton of debris from the vents from when the house was built and also cleaned the coils on the AC units. Helped solve a problem with the drain line as well. We had a horrible dead animal smell in our vents and tried everything (and I mean everything) to find the source. Finally broke down and called our central heat and air guy and he highly recommended Mr. B's. I was willing to try anything to get this stink gone. Called Mr B's and they came out and within 10 minutes found the problem (dead mouse deep down in basement ceiling insulation next to (but not in) a vent. They could have easily tried to clean our vents and we would have agreed in a minute. Trust me - the smell was horrible. The guy was great and knew his stuff (and his smells! ha). He knew right off it was not originating from the Central Heat/Air system but somewhere close by. He found an area that my husband and I had gone over and over and quickly saw a tiny little mouse hole in the insulation and said that was where it probably was and he was right. While he was here we got a bid to clean our vents. He noticed we were doing some remodeling and advised us to wait until the dust cleared from that project and then clean our vents. Straight up guy.
