Attempted to use this company to find an apartment since they listed 100 of them on Craigslist. The number is to an answering service, not the actual company. They advised someone would call me in 20 minutes. 2 hours, 2 days....nothing. I finally called back a week later. Same answering service and they said they need all my information again. I asked what happened to it the first time? They looked and read off like 5 peoples names and number (so much for privacy) and finally said "oh yes here it is, no one called you?" Nope. "Okay let me get right on this and assign it to someone." .... Still waiting and already signed my lease to my apartment thanks to Craigslist. read more

This is my second Luxury Living experience with Tristen and my review remains unchanged. I recently received an email from my apartment building stating that my lease was coming to end. I was met with both stress and excitement because I knew I wanted a change in scenery. Tristen was right on top of it in terms of timing and knew just when to reach out. We chatted about what had changed from my first search (about a year and a half ago) to my current search. At the time of my first apartment search, I was brand new to the city. At the time of my second search, I knew the city on a deeper level and had an opinion about location and the specifications of my next spot. Tristen was thoughtful, as always. He asked questions about what I was looking for to help fill the voids of what I was missing from my current (and still amazing) apartment. This time around, I was fairly indecisive and emailed Tristan a couple of times with criteria updates. He met every one of them with a timely and friendly reply back stating that he would update the places accordingly. This completely put my mind at ease. The days leading up to the search, I was anxious and excited. I was fully confident that Tristan would find me wonderful places to see, but since I felt even pickier this time around, I was still apprehensive. To add to the pressure, my parents happened to be in town the day of the apartment hunt, and he so graciously welcomed them along - which can be a tall order! Just like he did last year, he had a full day lined up. Tailoring the search as I provided feedback (very specific feedback) along the way. He made the day fun and made my parents feel included as well - they raved about him too! Of course he scheduled a day of showstoppers. I was torn about a couple of them, but ultimately one of the last buildings completely swept me off my feet and I signed on the spot. I can't wait to move in later this month. Overall, Tristen truly listens to his clients and it shows when he is touring apartments with clients. He has so much knowledge of each building - commenting on the history, the story, the staff, the architect, down to the artwork on the wall. He knows every detail, all of which matter when you are looking for a place to live. Tristen is honestly every renter's dream when looking for the next place to call home. I am a native New Yorker and have never lived anywhere else other than NYC. After the pandemic I finally decided I'd try something new and took the huge step to move to Chicago-but I had absolutely no idea how to go about doing it as I knew absolutely no one there. By pure chance I stumbled on Tristen Heimann and after a 45 minute phone call, I immediately knew how lucky I was. I've moved a number of times in my life, many of them to different parts of NYC, and every time was a nightmare-working with Tristen for one day in a city I didn't know at was a completely stress free and enjoyable process. I flew into Chicago late on a Monday, Tristen picked me up early the next day, and we drove through a list of meticulously curated scheduled visits to apartments in different areas of downtown Chicago that he had chosen based specifically on everything I had told him I wanted and didn't want in the next place I lived. After each showing, we debriefed so that he could narrow his list down even further based on what I said I liked and disliked. I recently found a job in Chicago and I had to relocate fairly fast from Detroit. I had only a couple of weeks and in those weeks, only one day to see places. As many people who are relocating to new cities do, I started looking at places online. It became overwhelming and there was just too much out there to really know the good from the bad. In my search for apartments, I came across Luxury Living and decided to submit my information. I wasn't very hopeful because I didn't know any better. Within that same day, Tristen reached out to me. He was BEYOND helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and he completely put my nerves at ease. He didn't say he was "hopeful" that I would be happy with one of his choices, he was absolutely confident that I would. He said that at the end of the day "I would be splitting hairs at which place to choose." At that point on, I put all of my eggs in Tristen's basket. I completely stopped looking online for places because I had Tristen doing the legwork. It allowed me to worry about the other million things on my "to do" list before moving. This was such a relief. When it came to the morning I was meeting Tristen, I was apprehensive. I wasn't sure if I would actually like the places or how the day would go. Needless to say, I was completely BLOWN AWAY.
