I usually go to Downtown Dallas to have mh nails done, but decided to try somewhere closer to home. Big mistake. I got a dip manicure & a gel "luxury pedicure". I already had dip on my nails & gel on my toes, so that had to be removed. The gel on my toes was scraped off after only a few minutes of soaking which hurt. The dip on my fingers wasn't entirely removed, they just put new dip over it. The color I picked & the color I received were not the same. When I complained, I was told "the color in the book faded." I paid more for a better pedicure because I wanted a good massage & all of the works. I hot stone massage was just a man gently rubbing two rocks on my legs. What a waste. I still have calluses on the sides of my big toes. I get my nails done every 3 weeks so there's no reason the small calluses couldn't have been removed. All of my toe nails are different lengths & they are crooked. There is polish missing in some places. My fingernails are all different shapes. I didn't know "square" had so many variations. One of my nails is much, much larger than the rest of them due to the dip not being shaped properly...... I was offered NO remediation for any of my problems & spent $113 on nails that I will have redone in a couple of days because these look so bad. Save your time & your money. I was immediately greeted, assisted, seated. I sat for a few mins but good things come with patience (5 mins max) salon was clean and the techs were professional and just a great experience. I will be returning and recommend this place. I watched Kim pretty closely and noticed she's was being very detailed oriented with my nails and shaped even after she finished. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Honestly! It was THAT bad. I have no idea how they have stayed in business! I'll start with the pros because there aren't many of those. 1. They got my friend and I in really fast for both manis and pedis. We walked in with no appointment and they immediately sat us at a chair. On a Saturday, there was barely anyone there. 2. My nails look good (shellac) despite the service and attitude that I will get to later. 3. Shellac was offered in many OPI colors that I was familiar with. And now for the cons. Oh boy! 1. This is one of those places that they will do your hands and feet at the exact same time as fast as they can to get you out of there. There will be no relaxation, talking to your friend or even accepting a phone call from one of your children. When my son called, the manicurist glared at me and jerked on my arm to show her distaste with me. 2. The people here are EXTREMELY rude. Every time my manicurist spoke in another language, all of her coworkers would turn to glare at me. They weren't just rude behind our backs either. One lady argued with my friend and was so nasty to her. 3. The pedicure? Biggest joke of a pedicure ever. $48 for a shellac pedicure and it lasted about 20 minutes total in the chair. NOTHING was done to the bottom of my feet. No callous removal at all. It was strictly toenails and scrub and lotion on my legs and it was done. I'm not kidding. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. The shellac job was very well done but other than that, worst experience. My feet, other than my toenails, looked exactly the same as they did when I went in. It was basically a foot wash with shellac. If you are looking for an actual pedicure, this is so NOT your place. 4. The manicure? Well, it wasn't relaxing but the shellac was done well. The manicurist sat on my left side while I got my "pedicure". She pulled on my arms and twisted me around the entire time. Every time I didn't turn my hand or arm the way she wanted, she'd jerk on my arm. She hated me and you could tell. No idea why. 5. The ladies here were so rude that they even made fun of the fact that I chose "Bubble Bath" by OPI when it's summer time. They constantly asked why I didn't choose a brighter color. If you don't want to constantly be asked about the reasoning for your color choice, this is probably not the right place for you. 6. This salon is super DIRTY. Not clean at all. I usually go here because of my mom. Last time I am sure. Yesterday I went for a refill and to repair two broken nails (acrylic was partially on). Usually I don't like to take off the acrylic at home but I'm glad I got one off. When I sat down (the owner) took one of my broken nails and took another nail to try and take off the broken acrylic! I thought my nail bed was going to bleed. She then proceeded to file it down instead. I then had to move to a different chair so someone else could finish my set. She started to file on my other nails. Almost making my other nail bed bleed!! By the time she was toward the end the owner returned to file my hands as the other was doing the "clean up" filing (before polish). My fingers are starting to burn because she is cutting me. I try to pull away and she said not to bc she'd cut me....I was already cut and started to bleed! She sent me to go wash my hands and they just burned and hurt so bad. I applied pressure and washed with cold water and soap. When I came back to my chair she says oh I cut you, you must have moved. She painted my nails and told me what I had to pay. I told her okay I need to wait until my hands are dry. She did not want to wait! She dug in my purse and got my wallet out so I could pay right away!!!!!! This has NEVER happened to me before ever!!!! My nails weren't even DRY!!!! I didn't tip I just paid and got in my car. I was so mad! Everything was awful my nails are thin and have started to chip on the sides...yay solar acrylic powder that is supposed to "last longer" read more

This is the cleanest nail salon I have been to in the Rockwall area. All of the chairs are brand new and comfy. I got a solar manicure and pedicure and both technicians were very friendly and they did a great job. I have tried several salons in Rockwall and Luxury Nails is by far the best one, I will continue to go back. read more

I recently visited this nail salon for the first time since the new "Cute Nails" salon is closed on Tuesdays. They did not offer me a drink when I sat down, which I should have taken as an omen of things to come. I asked for a gel mani and the woman who did my manicure seemed angry the whole time, and when she trimmed my cuticles she actually YANKED at each one. Well guess what yanking does? I now have painful hang nails on three of my fingers, which is why I'm bothering to write a review. I'm the angry one now because it hurt when she yanked my cuticles and now it hurts because of the hangnails. Completely unprofessional. She also would take the nail dryer and prop it precariously on the arm of my chair for me to dry my nails, which made me a little nervous. The man who did my pedicure was by contrast very gentle, which was a relief except when it came to the leg massage--very weak. He also didn't do a good job with softening my feet/callouses. Just left and nails look awful. First they did not want two different people doing my nails but then conceded. My gel manicure was essentially a polish change and one I know will peel in less than two days and my pedicure was pretty much the same. The lady that did the pedicure did a terrible job with the polish. I wasted over an hour and over $64.00 to have to get my nails redone somewhere else. Frustrating! read more

It was a clean salon and they have decent prices. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I am just not satisfied with the quality of work. I've been living overseas (Dubai) and I am so used to the excellent service that they provide. With this salon, they did an okay job with my gel nails but they don't really remove the cuticles properly, the same with the pedicure. I have in grown dry skin on my toe nails so it really needs some attention in removing it, it makes my toe nails painful if not properly removed. I guess everywhere in the US, no one really does such thing though, I have tried other salons at other states but the same thing. I felt like I wasted money, I could have done better. When I got my gel nails, I thought that they would at least put some hand lotion on my hands after, but they didn't. I had a nice massage though that came with the pedicure, and the lady also applied lotion on the legs. Overall, it was fine but I am just finicky with my nails, I do like my nail art though on my big toes.. read more

Totally in the middle on this one. Take what you want from this review and leave the rest ;) Great things: clean salon, decent prices, fit 2 of us in for mani/pedi with no notice and no wait. Cute nail art (it was before Halloween, so I asked for a spiderweb on one big toenail and a spider on the other...they were both very well done). Bad things: I was going from a shellac mani to a regular with just clear polish...the shellac was a really light pink color, and the technician didn't even take it all off on two of my nails. Now I have "bumps" on the ends of both my pinky nails from the shellac being thicker than regular clear polish. Also, when we came in I asked if we could make an appointment to come back since we only had 50 minutes until we had to be somewhere else. The woman at the front protested that no, they could do both mani and pedi at the same time, and it would only take 30 minutes. Not my best plan ever. The techs that did our pedicures were great, but both women who came mid-way through to handle manicures were "phoning it in"...no massage, my mom had to argue to get lotion put on her hands before going under the light for the shellac to cure (she is convinced that the curing light is UV and has contributed to the age spots on the back of her hands from so many years of regular visits). So, I'm "meh" on this salon. I'll try Pinky Nails next time since they have better reviews. I went there first but they were so busy we knew we'd never get walk-in services in the amount of time we had. read more

Mediocre at best and 30% over price of worth. Salon isn't relaxing at all. Very bright lights and no beverages. The lady who did my sons nails seemed fine but the two ladies who did my mom's and my nails acted like they'd rather be anywhere else on earth but doing our nails. Our pedis were rushed, and I didn't appreciate the lady trying to up sell additional services to us several times (like 3 deluxes weren't enough). Anyway, I'll skip a pedi altogether before I go back there. read more

SERVICE - ha Took my daughter here to get acrylics and she wanted a specific color and one nail Chevron. Tech doing her nails was wonderful. If you're looking for RELAXATION- NOT HERE! We were looking for the right baby pink polish and then either the owner or manager was totally rude and said that's all we have choose one. Wow! We weren't done looking at the pinks. I promptly explained we'd choose when we were ready. She proceeded to act pissy, speaking to her make family members in their language but obviously rudely about us. Won't be back. We were not offered water, drinks. The rudeness and lack of normal professional service options, NOT ACCEPTABLE - lots of better salons to choose from. Tech was excellent; maybe she will find a more professional place to work. read more
