She starts and I'm like when is she gonna apply the acrylics. So I show her the picture again and say I want this length EXACTLY like the picture. She says "yeah I know yeah I know". Next thing you know I have a bloody toe and half painted toenails and NOT ACRYLICS! I tried this spa a couple months ago. The service was great I also tried it another time after just for a polish change and got more service in that polish change. Today I went back and requested Kathy for my pedicure her service was exceptional. Even while waiting the nice young receptionist offered me a drink and to wait in one of the spa chairs for a massage. This is a very good location if you are in the area! I was looking for a new place due to just moving back up to the Dallas area. This location opened this past summer. The decor and overall feel of the place is really nice. It was very clean and you can tell they care about the upkeep. There were about 14-16 pedicure chairs (that were really nice) and about 8 stations to do just nails. Even though it was in the middle of the day during the week there were still about 15 or so people there. More than enough staff was on location so that there wasn't anyone actually waiting. I really liked this, there is nothing worse than having to wait awhile because there aren't enough people working. They actually had extra staff waiting just in case. The lady, who I think might be the owner was at the front desk when I walked in. She was really nice and seated me right away. They asked if I needed anything to drink but I declined, it does appear that they do offer wine. I went in originally for a shellac manicure and ended up adding on a neck massage. They had a good amount of color options to choose from. The young girl doing my nails was really nice and did a great job. The neck massage at this location comes with the paraffin wax bags for your nails. She also put lotion on my arms up to my elbows and then added hot towel wraps. The neck massage included lotion and was much needed!!!! Once done she removed the hot towels and then massaged both arms and hands. The total massage time was approximately 10 minutes. The total cost of my manicure and massage was only $40. This location is the first I have been to that actually has a gel color manicure, cost is $30. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area that wants to try a new place. Just left this salon very disappointed... when first sat down she tried to literally pick my gel off my nails with her finger nail before attempting to file and soak it off with foil wraps. Both of my daughters went with me and got manicures and pedicures with dip powder as well. However on mine they told me I could match the color for my toes as well and when we were finished...I had a blue on my toes and purple on my fingers which did not match and they said "well sometimes it doesn't match exactly" WHAT!!??? Not once ever offering or even attempting to fix it and the just walked away. I get up the the front so I can pay, they didn't discount or offer me anything. I just left there spending $165! I will never be back... and now it's 6:18 on V-Day and NOT HAPPY to say the least! I decided to try this nail salon, as usual the one I had been going to the tech left the nail salon I had used for quite sometime. First appearances it was very similar to where I had been going. I explained to them I prefer manicure followed by pedicure not at same time. Pedicure did not include the hot stones so I paid for basic pedicure plus an additional $6 for hot stones which are normally included. They used only one hot towel not two. No extra attention last about 20 min. After pedicure I picked a color for dip ( Nexgen) nails. I told her I did not want the drill used on my nails just acetone and cotton with foil. She gave me a look and I explained again what I wanted. She disappeared came back with a quart size baggy filled with liquid she said put your hand in. It began to burn she said you can take off now. I can take off what now I responded. She said you don't want to use drill you can take the gel off yourself. I said No I'm paying you to do my nails. Again she repeated no, you don't like drill you take off. At that point I got up paid for my pedicure and left. Terrible terrible experience. I started doing my nails over 20 yrs ago never ever have I had any nail tech speak to me with such attitude and rudeness. Bad vibe on both pedi and mani. Tina didn't clearly understand my request and my nail color is horrific glad Halloween is right around the corner. Our services were $167 before tipping and were there and hour. They slapped on the lotion and called it a pedicure. When I told then the color wasn't as expected they did offer to correct it and offered a $35 gift card which I refused to take because I won't be back...it was that bad. I just moved from California about a month ago and I've been looking for a new place to get my nails done just as well as my nail salon back home. It was just ok for a first time. They got us quick and were finished fast. It seemed like they were rushing us out. True, the three of us only came to get nails done (dip, nexgen) but I always tip well and I left feeling like, "Why do I tip like this when I work pretty dang hard for my money". I spilled my wine (oops, pardon me for having 2 twelve yr olds and trying to get my card out), and then I get to listen to the foreign language brigade. I get it, maybe I am a spoiled American and I deserve that, but I am a very personal client and I expected more from the reviews I've read about this place. I waited 45 minutes for a polish change. the tech rushed through and put globs of polish on my toes. She allowed no time for the coat to dry and it looked like a bubble. I mentioned i was concerned it was too thick to dry so she did 2 nails over. However she did the same thing with the top coat so it started bleeding onto my skin and you can see lines all through it. I used to go to Oasis prior to COVID. Just recently started doing my nails again and thought I try them again ( NEX-GEN dip). All I have to say is don't do it! I have no clue why they used superglue as a base coat to the nex-gen product. I have been doing the dip since it came out and have NEVER had anyone do this before today. Now I am scratching superglue off my fingers and cuticles. I may have been okay with that if they looked good, but they don't. Some nails the color doesn't cover the entire nail! Each nail has a different thickness. Looks like I did them myself - or worse! The technician didn't even allow me to wash my hands prior to putting the final coat of polish on so you can feel all the little pieces of dust that were not brushed off. read more

I'd tried several nail places in the area when the 1 I'd been going for several years showed wear and tear and disregard for cleanliness and quality customer service. Oasis has been my nail salon now for a couple years, and while I prefer Nikki to do my manicures, I've had a few others fill in and I'm always happy with the results. Nikki seems to enjoy the pink and white that I get, and always remembers that I prefer the buff shine without using harmful lights. As for pedicures, I love the options and come away feeling very relaxed and pampered! I am very picky and would complain a lot if i don't like the way my nails turn out. I have been going there since October 2017 and i am defectively not changing places! I personally only get my nails done with Tylen, she is the sweetest girl ever, and not to mention such a amazing Tech. Never had any problems with the way my nails come out and it has gotten to the point that i trust her so much that I let her choose what to do with my nails and also the color. I came in and asked for a Manicure gel French tip and gel pedicure. They sat me down instantly and the girls got to work. Everything was great, but then she quickly started painting my whole nail white instead of a tip. I reminded her I wanted a tip and she fixed the issue. That didn't upset me but it started the whole downward spiral. Then shortly after the manicurists obviously cut too far down on my nail and knew she did. She did not apologize even after I flinched. She threw nail polish remover and a cotton on it as it was bleeding a lot, which burned soooo BAD. She proceeded with my other hand and completely finished that hand. While doing that the owner/manager came over and knew she messed up because she made an "ouch" face as it would not stop bleeding and she couldn't work on my hand and the pedicurists as well noticed. After continuous bleeding she decided to just do all my other fingers. Once those fingers were done the cotton fell off and it finally stopped bleeding, she rushed to finish that finger, but as you can see there is dry blood everywhere. My other nails at this point did not have gel because she was waiting to do gel for the whole hand. I started to realize she was forgetting gel on my other four fingers because she put gel on the injured one let it dry then took her stuff and left. I was looking at my hand and I told the pedicurist she forgot gel and that my fingers were very tacky while the one nail had a smooth finish. She told her to come back and the lady quickly put gel(not removing any of the cotton fluff) she dried them and then left again. At this point I was just going to ask for a discount as I was in pain and exhausted at 7 months pregnant. The manager gave me a whopping $5 off, which I thought was not enough because of the issues with my nails. The gel is covering cotton fur so my nails are rough and then my one finger is currently wrapped in a bandaid because I do not want it to get infected. I was irritated but like I said I had no energy to fight with people who didn't even apologize. I have to say it was the worst experience and I am usually easygoing but not even an apology is what really irritated me. read more
