She does amazing EVERYTHING: Full Body Sugaring and Waxing, Facials, Vagacials, Hydrojelly Masks, Hungarian Mud Masks, Eyebrow Waxing and Henna Tinting...did I say Vagacials? LOL There is also a line of products offered for clients to purchase to continue maintenance at home. The best part is that Skyn Smooth has two locations: Carbondale and O'Fallon, so customers can book for the time and location that is most convenient for them. Anything that you can think of that needs to be removed or refreshed, Britt, the Esthetician Goddess (as I refer to her) will handle with finesse and care. The atmosphere created by Britt at Skyn Smooth is serene, quaint, and calming. Everything is very clean and sanitary, and Britt's personality is absolutely perfect for the line of work she has been chosen for. When I met Britt at her Carbondale location the first time, we hit it off immediately. The yoga was a lot different than what we are used to but I dug it. Focus is mainly on Hatha yoga. Although they are in the same building the spa massages seem to belong to a different entity than the yoga. So if you book both make sure you leave enough time in between so you are not rushed the way we were.

Just needed a trim in the back to tame my A-frame. I'd been walking around for hours taking in the…read moresights and stopping in every salon to ask f they had openings for the morning. Everyone seemed to be booked for the day and then I walk in here and found I'd be next in line after the lady currently getting her hair cut. When it was my turn, I got my hair shampooed and conditioned before the cut. She asked if I had a picture of what I wanted, and I didn't but tried to explain. She pulled it a picture book and pointed at a hair style and I said yes. At first, the lady scared the life out of me when she started cutting so much hair off. I almost cried. I just needed a trim at the back and here she was cutting inches. I could feel so much of my hair being butchered off my head. I have a lot of hair, and pretty thick at that. I was preparing myself to be disappointed and pretty irked, and bough I couldn't find my voice to speak up. I just watched and felt. And then I started seeing her near-finished result and the fear instantaneously lifted. I liked,no, loved what I was seeing at the corner of my eyes. It was exactly the hairstyle I had wanted long before I got the first cut to shape my hair into an A-frame cut. The shock of getting inches of hair cut off dissipated and I couldn't help but smile and laugh at my absurdity. I love the end result!

I scheduled an appointment and was told when I came in that their brow artist was on vacation and a hair stylist would wax my brows but they only waxed and did nothing else.
